People who harass or bully others do so in order to validate to themselves that they are somebody. They learned this behavior from role models in their environment. Most often, they were harassed or bullied during their childhood or adolescence and they act out their hurt and frustration by treating others the way they were treated. It is a defence mechanism. “I will put you in your place and show my power over you, before you do the same to me,” is the unconscious thought process behind bullying. By doing this, the bully, in fact, feels safe.
That fool still tasting sand to this day

The older man pushed the right button on the idiot. The punk stayed out for a while after the older man walked off.

Drunk and stupid. Every now and then you can overcome one of these impediments, but never both.

My husband is 69 and I pity the young fool that might think younger means stronger.

The laughing and giggling crowd thinks a "knock-out" is like you see in action movies when the hero gets hit but jumps up and gets right back into action but if that video was real and the younger man suffered effects that lasted as long as it appears, he had a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and needed immediate medical attention. And as any Iraq or Afghanistan veteran will tell you, there are lasting and permanent effects from just ONE TBI. No, this video is far from funny.

Younger is usually stronger. I believe the man had military or police training and within a few seconds realized the fool did not know how to defend himself. Nice punch!

A counterpuncher! If you've boxed or done serious martial arts, you probably know what it feels like to get hit on the button. I seldom ever felt sicker than after taking a perfect wheel kick to the head in a sparring match half a lifetime ago. It sort of feels like an instant terminal hangover with raw egg and shotgun. If one takes a perfect blow on the button, one is going down. I don't let threatening looking strangers get within two arm's lengths, let alone one.

It didn't even look like a particularly hard punch, but absolutely lights out.
Picking fights is bad business. This is known as the School of Hard Knocks.
Looked like the punk was insulting the women, and the guy came up to ask him to stop being a jerk and leave the women alone. The punk took the swing, and missed. I wonder if drugs or alcohol were the cause of this stupidity or just normal stupidity?

It is not necessarily a "hard" punch that causes the KO, it is the angle and speed, the quick jerk of the fast head movement causes the brain to "Initialize Auto restore to original factory settings"

When my children went through k-12, i told them to never start a fight, by word or deed, but never back down from one. A good punch in the snoot of an obnoxious bully can change his life.
The teachers and administrators certainly aren't with their 'no-fault' incident reports. Word gets around quickly. Bullies wont harrass you and other dtudents will admire and support you.

Although I didn't see enough detail to know for sure, the aftereffects of that KO punch (which didn't look especially hard to me either) might have indicated a floating punch, which very few fighters know about or use, but is devastating when it lands. Related to Bruce Lee's one inch punch, the floating punch involves starting the punch with a relaxed fist, index knuckle first and wrist arched down, and arm. At the moment of impact, the fist's arch reverses, the knuckle of the little finger makes first contact, the arm and fist fully tense release a large amount of chi type energy into the target, There's one drawback for the non-expert. If you try a full tilt floating punch and miss your target, your arm can break. But if you hit your target, he's going beddy bye boo boo.

He caught him coming in with a nice right cross. As Hazy said, right on the button. Not particularly forceful, but the victim walked INTO it and the results were devastating. Hands low and head high is poor boxing posture. Tuck the chin or tuck the tail; It's your choice.

I remember the in old Charles Atlas ads in the back of comic books... "That bully's kicking sand in our faces!" Fear no man. Anyone who tries messing with you will be regretting it from a hospital bed or a jail cell...

He deserves that humiliation, for showing such disrespect to his elders. Just respect the elders, everybody knows that.
