We’ve long been used to the fact that banks and credit unions must report to the federal government any transactions greater than $10,000. (snip) But how would you feel if the government requires banks to report to the government — i.e., the IRS — every transaction of $600 or more? Well, if Democrats pass their $3.5 trillion American Families Plan, that’s exactly what will happen. (snip) hen one considers that the Supreme Court’s entire Roe v. Wade justification for abortion was that the Constitution has an implicit guarantee of privacy

This is idiocy thought up by idiots. The IRS already looks at bank accounts when they do an audit. Just because you have a transaction doesn't mean it is income or expense. It can be a loan or loan repayment. Nobody has the resources to look at over $600 transactions because of the volume. The JA's in the Biden administration and in Congress know nothing about taxes, economics, business, capitalism, or squat. We don't have a say in selecting these morons, so why do the billionaires and Wall Street do it? You would think with all their money they would have some sense, but they do not, only fat bottoms, and space, too busy thinking up how to make the American people miserable and how to chain them to masks and mandates. Maybe the American citizens will think of something for these donors and controllers that will make their lives miserable.

So I get reported to the IRS every time that I make my house payment, car payment do transfers for payroll for my business? The government already gets a big summary of that on my taxes every year for which I get to write a big check.

What they want to do is investigate all of us for tax evasion without cause or search warrant. They want information to search for a crime without cause. Sounds unconstitutional to me.

#5 is right.
They are searching for ways to come after us. Whether it be more taxes, fines, etc.. This HAS to be a violation of privacy. They want to double the size of the IRS too. I cannot believe how rapid the leftists are and how much they want to control. I knew they wanted to do it, but I thought is was a pipe dream.

Who exactly wants to get into my bank account? It isn't Biden. It's his handlers or overseers. This is ridiculous. Biden doesn't know where he is or what time it is most of the time.
When will this charade end?

I just had another thought. If this passes, will Congress exempt themselves from having their bank accounts reported to the IRS? Of course they will.

It's time to get a little more creative with our income and expenses. The government was never meant to control money in this way, just suck out the percentage that the IRS demands and shut up or you will end up getting nothing.

It's not just about the IRS and taxes. With this they could tell if you support democrap or conservative causes. They can also tell if you support approved govt causes or bad individual freedom causes. This is much more than monitoring for taxes.

The banks and credit unions routinely make reports when large sums of money are deposited to expose foreign money from outside the country or to expose money laundering schemes.
The do not want to regulate themselves to the point that libs cannot give the politicians contributions, they want to TAKE YOUR MONEY by imposing on your PRIVATE BUSINESS to look at your transactions without having to get court orders to put you under surveillance.
How many promises and assertions has JoeBamaBiteMe either violated or FLAT OUT LIED in the Presidential debates to get elected along with a little help from other sources???
The invasions upon your privacy and your ability to stand up against government intrusion into your life is now YOUR "hill to die on" because your representatives have sold you out.

What would Chief Judas John Roberts say? (This one is too easy.)
The U.S. Constitution, by amendment, gives the federal government the power to impose income taxes.
The monitoring of bank accounts is just part of imposing the income tax fairly.

Ok, so to make my $1000 contribution to True THe Vote (which will mark me as a subversive), I will have to write checks for $500 from two different banks.

The whole objective here, in my view, is direct access to our savings. The Demoncrats want it all to 1) pad their own “nest eggs” and 2) bankrupt the middle class for the ultimate in control. Any Patriot supporting Constitutionalism will be branded an enemy of the State and subject to asset seizures. This is the #JihadJunta’s wet dream.

I've been saying this for a while now; they want all our money and all our stuff. They are unable to build empires, so they have to steal from others to enrich themselves and pretend they're doing it for some greater good, when all they are is greedy, murdering, lying, evil thieves. Typical dictators and tyrants. Time to stop them, and to quote their communist philosophy, by any means necessary.

This is a prelude to the confiscation of all wealth. They have 30 trillion in debt they have to pay off. It will likely hit 40 trillion. The irony is any money they take won't be for paying off the debt.
I will never understand how the voter can vote away their freedoms, rights, wealth, and safety. Its all happening right before our eyes. Yet tens of millions of voters persist in voting for this nonsense.

It's not going to pass. In fact, it's not even going to come up for a vote. The Marxists/demosluts don't have the votes, and they're not going to take a chance if they're not 100% sure it will pass.

Re #16. That happens now. The feds know this workaround and it’s common with contractors working jobs over ten grand. I would be willing to bet that the thousands of Hispanics doing lawn work and other similar jobs report only a fraction of their real income while we get to pay their benefits.

Might as well just withdraw all your cash and tuff the mattress, or move it offshore like the libs do. You can't hardly do anything with cash now though, since almost every place wants to do electronic transfer. Try to pay in cash most places, and they look at you like you are crazy.

The Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights. It prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures. In addition, it sets requirements for issuing warrants: warrants must be issued by a judge or magistrate, justified by probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and must particularly describe the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized.
Searches without a Warrant IS ILLEGAL!
