The FDA committed actual science on Friday

Original Article

As the hysteria about unvaccinated people demonstrates, the COVID vaccine isn’t really a vaccine because it doesn’t make those who have had the shots immune to COVID—although there is some evidence that, if they do catch COVID, their symptoms are less severe. The latest push from the Biden administration is for people to get a third, or even a fourth, “vaccine” shot as a booster. However, the FDA’s advisory panel, ignoring administration pressure, voted by a 16-2 margin to reject licensing Pfizer’s booster vaccine for healthy people between 16 and 65. Only for those at serious risk of COVID did the advisory panel recommend the booster.

I am tired of this oft-repeated but ignorant rant echoed by the author. Just because the covid shots don't make one fully immune to the intended pathogen it is still a 'vaccine'. None of our vaccines confer perfect immunity. Hell, flu shots only reduce illness risk by about 45%. Starting off on the wrong foot undermines the author's otherwise excellent article.

Hubby and I both have had both Shots of Moderna, but we're not too excited to run out and get a Booster. I'm 80 and he's 77, so we would be eligible for a Booster, but until it's determined the Booster is necessary and will actually be effective, I think no, no more shots! Too much unknown! Too much government interference and too much of a rush by Biden, who nobody trusts anymore!

FTA: "..although there is some evidence that, if they do catch COVID, their symptoms are less severe." Only because we are not far enough along in the cycle. That will change. Hence the panic to introduce boosters to help to cover up the clusterf... we will soon have. The evidence from Israel, which is months ahead of us in the vax cycle, shows the effectiveness of the shots has declined before the year is out. Then the vaxxed start suffering. The irony is that the vaxxed can catch C-19 and can spread it. Therefore, it's the unvaxxed and the vaxxed with a depleted "vaccine" who are in danger.

If Covid had not been politicized, thoughtful people could ask thoughtful questions and get thoughtful answers. Science is about asking questions and reasonably challenging answers. That hasn’t happened. My sense is that had this disease not been used to oust a president and to force government on us, many people would be less skeptical about the vaccines. But people don’t trust Fauci and other liars, so they’ve ditched the whole thing. Baby out with bath water!

I am not so sure this is the FDA 'committing science'. I think it likely they committed an act of 'wokeness'. I believe the WHO opposition to approval of a third dose of the Covid vaccine was based on the 'unfairness' of using vaccine stocks for booster doses in this country before all the poor people in the international community received the recommended two doses.

On Saturday, there was a rally in D.C. to bring attention to the plight of those people arrested on January 6 and still held in solitary confinement in D.C. jails. President Trump warned people in advance that the rally was a no-win situation and he was right. It was poorly attended and it seems that many of those who did appear—perhaps intending to act as provocateurs—were law enforcement agents trying to “blend in with the crowd.” Most importantly, though, this failed rally revealed that non-leftists in America are losing their First Amendment right to protest.

There seems to be a yawning chasm between what is believed by media people and what their viewers/readers/listeners care about when it comes to Covid vaccines. (snip) On September 10, the local Detroit TV station WXYZ used its Facebook page to ask families for stories about unvaccinated loved ones lost to COVID “for a story we’re working on.” Pretty clearly, the expectation was that they could present tragic stories of those foolish people who ignored the wisdom of Joe Biden (and the medical, media, and corporate establishments) and suffered the tragic consequences. There are a number of reasons to explain the intense push from the Biden administration and the government medical bureaucracy to get people to take the COVID vaccine. From a wide search of the information available, I find it hard to believe that the actual health of people is one of the reasons. For example, why demand people with natural immunity get vaccinated? And why insist on vaccinating children when their risk of serious effects from the virus is minuscule? It make no scientific sense especially when the vaccine itself can possibly cause serious health issues for the young.

Immunity, according to the CDC website, is “Protection from an infectious disease. If you are immune to a disease, you can be exposed to it without being infected.” (snip) breakthrough infections, on the rise, challenge the definition of immunity as “being exposed without being infected.” This would explain the CDC’s recent decision to change the definition of vaccine from immunity to only protection. These immunology basics are taught in high school biology classes and if understandable to teenagers, they should be clear to the medical establishment and leaders of our national health institutions.
