A former staffer for Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) continued to pay large sums of money in 2019 to former British spy Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS, the firm that retained Steele for work on a Hillary Clinton-funded misinformation dossier, even as the credibility of both Steele and the claims in his dossier evaporated.
The Democracy Integrity Project (TDIP), a nonprofit operated by former Feinstein staffer Daniel Jones, paid $1,222,714 in 2019 to Bean LLC., the shell company that controls Fusion GPS, and $700,000 to Walsingham Partners Ltd., a British company co-owned by Steele, according to a tax filing.

A new poll has found that a majority of French people support the sentiments expressed in a letter signed by active duty and retired members of the military warning that the country is heading towards a “civil war” caused by failed multiculturalism and attacks on French identity.Around 1,000 servicemembers signed the letter, including 20 retired generals, warning President Emmanuel Macron of “several deadly dangers” threatening France, including “Islamism and the hordes of the banlieue,” a reference to the fractured suburbs around major cities with high crime and immigrant populations.

It’s the most feared conundrum of the professional anti-racist: What if the only way to stop one black genocide is to usher in another?
Woke activists in the U.S. are currently grappling with this exact dilemma.
Next week, the Biden administration is expected to enact a ban on menthol cigarettes, because menthols are genociding black Americans. An estimated 85% of black smokers use menthols, over three times the percentage of whites. Tobacco-related disease kills over 45,000 blacks a year, making it the No. 1 preventable cause of death for black Americans that doesn’t involve Gorilla Glue.
Black health advocates argue that menthols are more addictive and more toxic than regular smokes

Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif claimed he did not know that Israel was behind 200 military airstrikes in Iran until secretary of state John Kerry tipped him off, a new translation of a leaked audiotape reveals.
The New York Times buried the revelation of Kerry’s treasonous behavior deep in a story about the leaked audiotape last week.
Kerry is now the Biden administration’s United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate.
Amid calls for him to resign or be fired, the corporate media and State Department officials stepped up to the plate to defend Kerry, saying Zarif had already heard about Israel’s actions from the media before Kerry blabbed about it.(Snip), Kerry claimed (unconvincingly)

Because Democrats used to call her daddy Darth Vader, Liz Cheney must think she is Princess Leia. Her act is wearing thin, and congressional Republicans may dump her from her leadership position in favor of someone less full of herself.
Axios reported, "Top Republicans are turning on Rep. Liz Cheney, the party’s highest-ranking woman in Congress, with one conservative leader suggesting she could be ousted from her GOP post within a month."
In a rarity for what passes for journalism in DC, Axios named names. The story said, "The comments by Reps. Steve Scalise, the minority whip, and Jim Banks, chairman of the Republican Study Committee, carry weight because of their close relationship

Army investigators detained a fellow soldier in the killing of Specialist Vanessa Guillén just hours after her remains were found, but a series of missteps allowed the soldier to flee, then fatally shoot himself, according to an Army report released Friday that examined what went wrong in the high-profile murder investigation.
The revelation is part of a detailed report into the response to the murder, which has rocked the Army and sparked calls for increased accountability. Among the findings are conclusions that Specialist Guillen was sexually harassed, but not by the soldier who the Army believes killed her, and that the suspected killer had also been accused of unrelated sexual harassment.

Last night's Drudge Report was dominated by Joe Biden, as Drudge continues to look at the world through his Bush Republican eyes.
Drudge pimped a Reuters report -- "After somber tone in first 100 days, Biden plans to try to sell spending to U.S. public" -- under the all-caps headline: "BIDEN SET TO PITCH TRILLIONS.”(Snip) The message was clear.
Biden speaking was the most important event since the miraculous election of a man who never held a rally of humans, never gave a press conference, and never went a week without calling it a day (Snip)

To promote today's opening of the NFL draft, the NFL and ESPN are pushing the inspiring story of Kwity Paye's harrowing escape from Africa. He is a defensive lineman for Michigan, or as Ohioans call it, That Team Up North.
ESPN wrote, "Kwity Paye has never met the man. Never had the chance to look him in the eye, or hear his story in his own words, or even so much as thank him. For his life. For the chance to be in the United States, where Kwity became an immigrant, then a citizen; a football player, then a really good football player; (Snip)

Joe Biden’s jumbled word salad remarks to a joint session of congress, an effort at a State of the Union speech, drew an audience rating less than one-third of President Trump’s speech in 2020. TV Ratings for Presidential Addresses:
President Trump 2017 – 48,000,000
President Trump 2018 – 46,000,000
President Trump 2019 – 46,800,000
President Trump 2020 – 37,200,000
♦ Joe Biden 2021 – 11,600,000
That’s over a 60% decrease in viewership. (Snip) There was no crowd at his installation. .(Snip) An empty chamber for his speech,… and yet we are to believe he received 81 million votes.

The Supreme Court rejected the federal government’s effort to move forward with the deportation of a failed refugee claimant who argued he shouldn’t be removed from the United States because official paperwork was incomplete.
The Trump administration, in office when the case was argued Nov. 9, 2020, favored deportation in this instance. (Snip)Justice Neil Gorsuch delivered the court’s opinion, in which conservative Justices Clarence Thomas and Amy Coney Barrett, joined, along with liberal Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan. Conservative Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote a dissenting opinion that was joined by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito.

Although he made up his mind before jury did, President Joe Biden quickly went public once he learned that the Minneapolis jury had, in fact, convicted former police officer Derek Chauvin on all charges.
“It was a murder in the full light of day, and it ripped the blinders off for the whole world to see the systemic racism the vice president just referred to — the systemic racism that is a stain on our nation’s soul.” So said the only president to have given a eulogy at the funeral of an Exalted Klan Cyclops, and that just 10 years before Floyd’s death.
