To promote today's opening of the NFL draft, the NFL and ESPN are pushing the inspiring story of Kwity Paye's harrowing escape from Africa. He is a defensive lineman for Michigan, or as Ohioans call it, That Team Up North. ESPN wrote, "Kwity Paye has never met the man. Never had the chance to look him in the eye, or hear his story in his own words, or even so much as thank him. For his life. For the chance to be in the United States, where Kwity became an immigrant, then a citizen; a football player, then a really good football player; (Snip) The man is his mom's cousin Cyrus.

Here is where this excellent article goes, lest any get stuck on black or NFL: I don't see many black people escaping the nightly shootings and two-murders-a-day in Chicago by moving to Africa. But the Pew Research Center reported, "A record 3.8 million black immigrants live in the United States today, more than four times the number in 1980, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data. Black immigrants now account for 8.7% of the nation’s black population, nearly triple their share in 1980." So much for the argument that America has systemic racism, because if it did millions of black people would not be making the journey here for two reasons. 1. We would not allow it. 2. They would not want to be here. But conservatives already know systemic racism is a bulls*it argument. Liberals know it too.

EVERYBODY knows it. But the RINOs are mortally afraid of even the hint of being called a racist. Ditto most white people. It's insane. We're turning over the country, our legal system, and our culture to a violent and unappreciative subculture without any meaningful resistance.

Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif claimed he did not know that Israel was behind 200 military airstrikes in Iran until secretary of state John Kerry tipped him off, a new translation of a leaked audiotape reveals. The New York Times buried the revelation of Kerry’s treasonous behavior deep in a story about the leaked audiotape last week. Kerry is now the Biden administration’s United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate. Amid calls for him to resign or be fired, the corporate media and State Department officials stepped up to the plate to defend Kerry, saying Zarif had already heard about Israel’s actions from the media before Kerry blabbed about it.(Snip), Kerry claimed (unconvincingly)

Because Democrats used to call her daddy Darth Vader, Liz Cheney must think she is Princess Leia. Her act is wearing thin, and congressional Republicans may dump her from her leadership position in favor of someone less full of herself. Axios reported, "Top Republicans are turning on Rep. Liz Cheney, the party’s highest-ranking woman in Congress, with one conservative leader suggesting she could be ousted from her GOP post within a month." In a rarity for what passes for journalism in DC, Axios named names. The story said, "The comments by Reps. Army investigators detained a fellow soldier in the killing of Specialist Vanessa Guillén just hours after her remains were found, but a series of missteps allowed the soldier to flee, then fatally shoot himself, according to an Army report released Friday that examined what went wrong in the high-profile murder investigation. The revelation is part of a detailed report into the response to the murder, which has rocked the Army and sparked calls for increased accountability. Among the findings are conclusions that Specialist Guillen was sexually harassed, but not by the soldier who the Army believes killed her, and that the suspected killer had also been accused of unrelated sexual harassment.
