The Supreme Court on Monday turned down a request to salvage a Kansas law that required residents to provide proof of citizenship when registering to vote, despite pleas from Kansas lawyers and almost 20 red states. Kansas's red-state allies used the case to mount a broader attack on a legal test that in their view gives judges too much power in election-security disputes. Former Kansas secretary of state Kris Kobach (R.) championed the law and personally defended it in court against an ACLU lawsuit. The Secure and Fair Elections (SAFE) Act required Kansans to produce documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote. U.S. CORRECTIONS*

Could it be that, in their own way, they are forcing the issue of enforcing our border laws? Just a thought but it sure makes you want to put alum in their toilet paper.

So, the “Supreme” Court gives carte blanche for illegals to vote. The states should go ahead and enforce their citizenship rule. What is the Court going to do? Send troops?

The SC is all part of the steal. It is totally disgusting and morally and legally wrong. The SC of Judicial Activists can go straight to hell. American has just been destroyed by domestic enemies within, with a little help from their friends in China.

Yet, again, Republican nominated jurists turn out to be complete sell-outs. It's mind boggling.

Trump will have to bypass the SC with military tribunals if he is to save the country from this mess. He has the support of the people, but I don't think there are enough Republicans in congress with the morals and courage for him to implement what is required. I am beginning to think we are screwed.

The Supreme Court is anything but supreme. The law of the land ruled by the Constitution is fading as rapidly as the real Constitution and Bill of Rights. Both are so faded that one can hardly see the writing and letters let alone read it.

I'm am coming to the conclusion that the federal government is unredeemable, completely corrupt and filled with nothing but opportunists and power mongers. You had one man show up and try to change that, and few swamp dwellers would support him.
If things go on and the spineless pubbies do nothing serious about stopping the coup then I will never vote pubbie again. We need another party, and all true conservatives in DC (how few there appear to be) should leave the pubbies and go with the new party.
Of course that won't matter so long as the swamp controls the voting. Our rulers will be chosen for us from among the elite, and our voting will be a sham.

Unitary is a good name for it. Within the party, you have the democrat crooks in "shirts" and the idiots who lost their shirts are the Republicans. And the game they're playing is US.

Just do your own state law and proceed. The SC can't back any decision they make unless they use Antifa or BLM to go enforce their decisions. Who gets hurt if you enact your state law an illegal non citizen so what?

Maybe we should hold the election in Peru or Botswana if citizenship is not an issue.

Guess there's no need to pack the courts after all and Biden can budget his "political capital" elsewhere, like medicare for all, gun control, tax hikes, etc. Wish I could hibernate for four years.

It is no longer the Supreme Court.
It is now the Court of Red China.
With help from George Soros.
With terror of Antifa and BLM.
They have broken their oaths.
Throw them all out!

With much respect #4, I doubt that. Just who was interested in PUSHING or demanding enforcement of border laws before Trump? It sure wasn’t Congress. The SCOTUS refused to even look at the case. Again, they are political and not acting as honorable guardians of the Constitution.

The new Free America created by splitting off coastal socialist cities should have no federal judiciary. State courts with term-limited, elected judges will handle all cases. Interstate disputes settled by arbitration.

The left wants to pack the court; we should reduce the SC to two current and one new judge when PDT secures four more years.

It is time for everyone to register to vote again. If you don't show up alive with an ID, you don't register and can't vote.
A few years back when I renewed my driver's license and get one with a 'star' it was a horrible process. Worth noting- I was probably the only white American citizen in the DMV.
How many on the SC are bought and paid for or blackmailed ?
