Washington — The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday spurned a request from Republican allies of President Trump to decertify Pennsylvania's election results, foreclosing hopes from Mr. Trump and his backers that the justices would help deliver him a second term in the White House.
In a one-line unsigned order, the high court left intact a decision from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that tossed out a lawsuit led by Republican Congressman Mike Kelly challenging a 2019 law that expanded mail-in voting in the state.

If the SC turns down the Texas lawsuit it will be that time.

So the defendants here, the State of PA, argues that if you don't deny the Petitioners complaint, then we will wreck havoc on the State. This will lead to civil war.

I see lots of "Civil War" talk but the last time that happened the politicians of the states who felt their Constitutional rights were being denied led the charge. Do you really see a majority of GOP pols even from red states doing a damn thing? So few have even raised their heads to acknowledge there is a problem. The age of real men in this nation is over!! They are all greedy pigs or compromised criminals.

I am not surprised at all. Idiot Roberts never wants to do anything that might upset the apple cart. He is a true swamp rat. We no lomger have a Constittion. We are no longer represented by our legislators. We are governed my tyranical governors, corrupt judges, and the ever expanding Deep State. They may as well rip up the Constitution. It is no longer in force.

Everyone get ready.
Understand, the Chinese are involved so those who can, let Taiwan, Japan and the South China Sea nations know China will be moving on them as soon as we start cleaning out the trash, here.
God willing we will relieve them, and give the Chicory, their just desserts.

Isn’t this different though from the other challenges to be put before the Supreme Court about Pennsylvania going above, beyond and around state legislative rules regarding the election?

The Texas case is the key. But the PA case looked solid. Very disappointing.

I have a 50ish Asian friend who is Vietnamese and a Trump supporter. A few days after the stolen election she said, "they must fix this or there's no more America."
It will be hard to look her in the eye now.

Sadly, not surprised. It was always an uphill battle.
Was hoping somebody was leading an effort to nullify Biden's lead in Pennsylvania. He has an 81k vote lead.
Somebody needed to find uncounted Trump votes, machines flipping votes, dead votes, invalid ballots, and registration fraud in sufficient numbers to erase Biden's lead. That might have been enough justification to step in and do something. That never happened.
No word on how the Justices ruled. Was it 9-0? The lawsuit asked the SC to throw out 2.5 million votes or have the PA legislature step in, but it doesn't appear they ever gave adequate justification. Or maybe the fix was in from the beginning. Who knows? These people aren't talking.

The travesty in this denial is the acknowledgment of the threat of disobedience by the defendant and the court caved.

So much for the Supreme Court being our White Knight. Trump legally won Pennsylvania and Joe didn't. I guess we are going to find it necessary to pound the truth into everybody's head the hard way.

There has to be more here. Let us wait for the inside story. If they are planning to take up the Texas case the Pennsylvania case will be redundant. If they fail to take up the Texas case without explanation then we are done for. But will the five Justice majority just sit and do nothing? Are they unaware of the rage, frustration and widespread loss of faith that will cause? Right now seems difficult to swallow. Tomorrow will tell.

The decision to not take up the case without comment just means that the SC didn't believe it was a federal matter that would supersede the state supreme court scope. The fact that they changed their electoral procedures without amending their PA constitution must not have risen to a US Constitutional concern.
A fraud is a fraud and by any other name would still stink even if the SCOTUS signs off on it. As long as Republicans were denied their legal right to examine the signatures on the mail-in ballot envelopes and meaningfully inspect the ballots at all times that counting was conducted we don't have a legitimate process. Accepting the loss of the hand without seeing the other guys cards is being a sucker and honest American's aren't suckers.

Not Surprised. Supreme Court is full of commies and gutless cowards. They don't realize that they are lighting a match that will trigger a massive revolution. Traitors.

One more time for the hard of reading....
The PA case is STILL alive. The SCOTUS only decided to NOT grant the injunction against the certification in PA. The case was NOT rejected. Just the injunction.

From what I understand, the Texas case vs the crooked counting states of Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania are based on that those states have infringed on the rights of the voters of Texas (and other states) by changing election laws not permitted by law or Constitution. There is no need to show fraud in this cause, just that the petty dictators in each of those states decided to make their own rules and change them during the game for their benefit.
But I think they're right. The Texas lawsuit is the ball game. The question is whether the SCOTUS will allow the good guys a turn at bat.
