In a livestreamed update on the Golden State’s response to COVID-19 this afternoon, California Governor Gavin Newsom threw down the gauntlet to sun-worshippers in his state, who he was disappointed appeared to be enjoying life over the weekend. That’s something that just can’t stand, man!
Newsom began his speech with a smile, by thanking “the 40 million” Californians who “over the course of the last number of weeks have not only bent the curve….but stabilized it.” But the governor’s smile only lasted about 24 seconds, when he said this:

I guess they need a sanctuary beach because I see that’s how lawbreakers are protected in lib states. Vote these scum out of office!

I wouldn't expect to see it in Kalifornia, but it would be great if the cops get more aggressive, the crowd return the favor by turning over the cop cars. A cop without a car is emasculated and must wander away in shame.

Well, the news had some twenty-something girl, who said she was from West L.A., and had never been to Huntington Beach, but she decided to travel all the way down so she could spend time on the beach.
Keep in mind, none of the normal parking places were open.
The sun's UV light will kill the virus on SURFACES, but not if you are infected, and spread it to others in close contact.

Contact your freeking representative to ignore Ms. Lindsey Graham Cracker's ChiCom slap on the wrist and pass legislation that declares all debt to the ChiComs null and void, every last cent, to pay for the financial devastation heaped on the U.S., the world notwhithstanding. WE OWE NOT ONE RED CENT TO THE CHICOMS!

The hyper-inflated projections have come down by state wide house arrest? A vaccine now. Why do we pay ANY attention to these psychopaths telling us it's for our own good.
They're enjoying this.

If he calls out the National Guard, Trump should call it into federal active duty and order it to stand down.

I've been surfing in Huntington Beach since the lockdown began. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY is safer than me and my friends. Lots of sun and salt water is therapy par excellence. Despite the million dollar + + real estate values, Huntington Beach is an oil drilling town, home to some tough, scrappy and independent people.

It's going to be aggressive alright, but any cop trying to aggressively arrest anyone for being outside in 90 degree weather at the beach, better be in riot gear. People are fed up with the shutdown and Socialists better have a better explanation to keep people inside other than do as I say.

#7, what the governor didn't mention, which I see on the local news almost every night, are the sideshows with hundreds of people gathered around intersections. They won't crack down on them because they know they will turn over cop cars.

Orange County’s collective middle finger right back at you, Governor Brylcream. This is our Boston Tea Party moment, our rage against the machine. Nothing short of martial law will thwart the public’s will to be free.

I don't think Newsom is going to do anything but talk. Trying to force people to do something only makes them more obstinate. People love their freedoms, and Mr. Newsom will have to drag them to jail himself. The police don't want that job.

Is there not one freakin' federal judge anywhere who can stop this infringement on our civil rights? Gov GoodHair is going to Harvey Milk this for as long as he can. He has already extended the lockdown until the end of May. Want to bet it'll go farther?? People need to go back to work now!

To AG Barr: Now you know which state to investigate first and you can monitor the fed AG's in charge of that state.
This may be a good way to get rid of a lot of them for PT's second term. Root 'em out.

FTA, a tweet from Newsom "Today, Colorado and Nevada joined CA, OR, and WA in our Western States Pact." Not good, they are working to keep the entire western US on lockdown to slow economic recovery.
