The new platform of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) got a lot of attention this week.
The revision to the DSA platform, "Workers Deserve More," plans to abolish the Senate entirely and replace the president and Supreme Court with an executive branch and judiciary elected by and subordinate to Congress.
They also want to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), defund the Department of War, end deportations, ease restrictions on immigration control for migration between countries, and "extend full voting rights to people with criminal convictions and noncitizens."

Iran is finding out that the United States under President Trump doesn't mess around when U.S. servicemembers are killed by its reckless missile strikes.
As RedState wrote earlier on Saturday:
The U.S. Central Command, which oversees American military operations in the Middle East, has now revealed that two United States service members were killed and one remains missing following a missile and drone attack by Iran. The attack was targeted at the U.S. forces in Jordan.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth reacted to the attack in an X post in an update, writing:
Godspeed, heroes.
Their sacrifice only stiffens our resolve.

There’s not a whole lot of information yet, but a corpse was found Saturday at a Boston-area property owned by Conan Harris, husband to Squad Member Rep. Ayanna Pressley (MA-7). The couple does not live in the house but rents it out to tenants.
Here’s what we know:
Police spokesperson James Moccia told CBS News Boston officers were called to 25 Malta Street in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood at 1:52 p.m. "for a report to investigate a person."
When they arrived, they found the person deceased, Moccia said.
Moccia did not have any further details and said the homicide unit is handling the investigation.

Iranian state TV, amid a series of threats from Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei against the “Great Satan” America, has labeled Donald Trump the “'number one target of the Iranians.'”
Amir-Hossein Tahmasebi is a host on Iranian state TV, and therefore acts as a mouthpiece of the terrorist regime's sentiments. Indeed, the Iranian parliament has a €50 million (about $57 million) price on Trump‘s head, besides a bounty on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Earlier this month, Tahmasebi commented on Trump's presence at the NATO summit, and expressed the official regime determination to assassinate the U.S. president. Unsurprisingly, the Iranian parliament is promoting the same goal:

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” New York City DSA Co-Chair Gustavo Gordillo said that if a private store in New York City is put out of business by one of the government-run grocery stores in the city, “then maybe they shouldn’t have been in that business in the first place.”
Host Martha MacCallum asked, “I guess the question is, how does the government become more democratized if the government takes over more of the power? So, for example, here in New York, if you have government-owned grocery stores, right? And that was what Mamdani promised, I know you were supportive of his election,

Prominent House Democrats appeared befuddled when asked about the Democratic Socialists of America’s (DSA) platform that seeks to destroy the American political system guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.
That, from a report Saturday by Fox News.
“I don’t support that,” Rep. Ro Khanna, (D-CA), said when asked about the new agenda. “I haven’t read the proposal.”
The DSA platform includes eliminating the Senate, the presidency, and the Supreme Court, measures which essentially would rewrite the U.S. Constitution and would end American governance as we know it.

Things in the Middle East are growing very spicy indeed, with two American service members killed in the line of duty and President Trump ordering, shall we say, a vigorous reply to be visited upon Iran. Things are liable to get worse before they get better, and now the Trump administration is taking steps to keep Americans in the rest of the world safe.
On Saturday, the State Department issued a travel warning to Americans traveling abroad. The post reads:
Worldwide Caution: Due to heightened tensions in the Middle East, the security environment remains complex with the potential for unforeseen escalation. We remind Americans in the region of the continued need for caution

The US has reportedly notified Israel that it is sending dozens of additional refueling aircraft to Israel, as US President Donald Trump weighs launching another massive bombing offensive against Iran.
US and Israeli officials tell the Axios news site that Trump could escalate the strikes against Iran in the coming days, following six consecutive nights of American bombing campaigns of targets across Iran, after the breakdown of last month’s MOU.
There are currently 33 US aerial refueling tankers parked at Ben Gurion Airport, which has crowded out other planes used for commercial flights.

Things just keep getting worse for the Democratic Party, and at this rate, they may need a new metaphor because "keeps getting worse" barely covers it anymore. We already told you the polls are tightening heading into the midterms in November, which was bad enough on its own. Now it turns out the party's situation is so much worse than we already know, and the people running the show apparently don’t want you to know just how bad it really is
In a bizarre move, the Democratic National Committee required its senior leadership to sign non-disclosure agreements before a private meeting on the party's finances, according to

It turns out that the “conspiracy theorists” weren’t so crazy after all. President Donald Trump says that foreign governments and corrupt domestic bureaucrats have so compromised our election system across the country that it is worse than a Third World banana republic.
“No country could be great without fair and honest elections,” Trump insisted during his Thursday night primetime address. “You have to trust your country because if there can be no trust, there can be no greatness, and that's very simple: no trust, no greatness.” Unfortunately, according to him, between our enemies around the world like the Chinese and Iranian regimes and their collaborators in the American media and

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) has admitted that Republicans may have found a real problem. Washington remains standing, the sun rose on schedule, and no trumpet has sounded from the heavens, but the moment still feels unusual.
Blumenthal said Republicans are “rightly concerned” about a possible breach of Justice Department norms and improper access to communications gathered during former special counsel Jack Smith's investigation of President Donald Trump. From Fox News:
Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., told Fox News Digital his Republican colleagues are right to be troubled that the Justice Department spied on lawmakers to aid former special counsel Jack Smith’s investigations.

President Donald Trump's Thursday speech to the nation was short and compact. The new teleprompter person was a bit rusty, but he pulled it off without too many hiccups. As expected, the hiccups came from Democrats and the NeverTrumpers, who had already decided what the substance of the speech would be before Trump even uttered a word.
The takeaways from the Democrats and the Left: Trump is a raving lunatic and is setting the stage to steal the 2026 midterms.
And they accuse Trump of being a conspiracy theorist?
Democrat Socialist Rep. Adelita Grijalva (AZ-07) teed it off, deciding five minutes
