When you put up people who landed here from Third World s*** holes and were eating dirt, in $400/day Manhattan hotel rooms, what are you going to get?

I get calls and letters now just about every week from “people” who claim that they want to purchase our one family house for cash with no questions asked. Once asked for a price they are willing to pay, they usually make a “low ball” cash offer that is away below the true sale value of our house. The reason they do that is to lease out the houses that they purchase at a lease price that is more than the mortgage fees that they pay on the house, with the people who thereafter lease such a house effectively gaining no equity via the lease fees or rent fees that they pay indefinitely, instead it is the people who purchase one family houses like that and then lease them to other people gaining all the equity and ending up owning the house and continuing to lease or rent it. You can only imagine how much money the people or groups are making as they lease or rent out big numbers of what are supposed to be one family homes.

Back in around 2005 Prince William County VA was inundated with illegals. So much so that Bank of America had signs in the bank in Spanish talking about the ability to get a mortgage for no money down regardless of citizenship. It started in Manassas Park which was an area of small cape cod houses built in the 1960s. The houses were purchased and the illegals started to convert them into multi-dwelling homes by adding on to them. All of a sudden the homes were like boarding houses and we even began to see vendors with push carts just like the one's in Mexico on the streets. Then it moved into other neighborhoods including mine. The house next door was sold for $410,000 to an illegal who had a family and was a nice guy. He then turned the entire downstairs of his split level into separate rooms that he rented out to young guys who spoke only Spanish. This went on through the entire area and house prices rose drastically. Then one day the Republicans who controlled the county passed legislation that made it harder for the illegals to get free services and rent out rooms. Overnight (literally) the illegals began to move out and go to neighboring Fairfax County. The price of real estate dropped like a rock because 1 in 10 houses was in foreclosure. How could these illegals just abandon their properties? Well it turns out that they were getting mortgage loans for over 100% of their property sale prices and they were offering more than the houses were selling for with the provision that the seller paid all of their closing costs. So they had no money in the properties and didn't lose anything when they moved out. That house next door that sold for $410,000 sat vacant for almost a year and someone finally bought it for $179,000 from the bank. It took years for the neighborhood to recover. I sold my house in $2010 for $275,000 and it was larger than the one next door and much nicer. This is the problem with allowing illegals to move onto the US and to compete with Americans especially while giving them advantages over Americans because of the stupid notion that we must welcome these poor underprivileged people.
