The real obstacle to peace has never been the Iranian nation. It is the regime that governs Iran against the will and aspirations of its own people—a regime that behaves less like a normal state than like a revolutionary-security cartel.
Iran cannot be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon—not under this framework, not after sixty days, not in five years, not through ambiguity, delay, concealment, or the gradual normalization of violations.
The nuclear file cannot be postponed into irrelevance while sanctions relief, oil access, and frozen assets are granted upfront. Any serious diplomatic process must begin with verifiable commitments,

Years ago, when my oldest son was a Boy Scout, he was asked to write a report/make a presentation on a modern American “hero.” He chose Elon Musk, and I, of course, rolled my eyes so hard they nearly popped out of my head. I knew Musk was a successful businessman, but I also knew that he was both an advocate for and a seasoned manipulator of Big Government. Tesla, for example, received a $465 million Department of Energy loan in 2010 under the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing program, a Big Government scheme to encourage private companies to advance Big Government priorities (namely, fighting Climate Change by reducing carbon emissions).

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know by now that with SpaceX’s Initial Public Offering (IPO), Elon Musk has become the world’s first trillionaire. The implications of this for all of us and our grandchildren are many and far-reaching. Of course, the left has found a way to narrow it all down to one simple idea: “His money is our money, or it should be.”
That’s not the way they say it. What leftists actually are saying is he doesn’t pay enough in taxes. Why? For the sole reason that he’s rich. If you’re a leftist, rich people are never paying “their fair share.”

The hypocrisy is thick with these two. As it often is with the communists and socialists running amok in the Democrat party.
Self-proclaimed democratic socialist NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani—who just scored himself free, exclusive, high-value tickets to multiple World Cup matches—was caught lounging in a luxury suite alongside New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) at the Brazil vs. Morocco opener.
Judging by the photos posted on social media, the dynamic duo is enjoying some champagne-adjacent perks as they sit aloft in the high-priced boxes. Looking down on the plebeians below.
Proving once again that for these so-called champions of the working class, socialism is strictly for —

Former Interior Secretary Deb Haaland last week won New Mexico’s gubernatorial primary, with a 2-to-1 lead over her opponent. She’ll be up against Republican nominee Gregg Hull in November’s general election. A lot could happen between now and then. But considering the state's political history, there's a good chance Haaland could get elected governor.
On the American energy scene, New Mexico is the second-largest producer behind Texas, pumping out 2 million barrels of oil per day. Two counties in south-east New Mexico account for 78% of all onshore federal oil production, according to the American Petroleum Institute. The Land of Enchantment is a key player in the American energy landscape.

Senior officials in President Joe Biden’s Department of Education defied a federal court order in launching investigations of gender identity and sexual orientation discrimination in schools, according to a federal watchdog finding.
The Office of Special Counsel released a report this week that confirmed the disclosure of Education Department whistleblower Timothy Mattson, who said the department’s Office of Civil Rights unlawfully processed complaints about gender identity discrimination after a federal judge halted an executive order from going into effect that was the basis for the investigations.
According to Mattson’s disclosure, the Office for Civil Rights investigated a school that restricted athletic competition to biological sex.

The US and Iran have reached a peace deal to end their three-and-a-half-month-old war, President Trump announced Sunday evening.
The Strait of Hormuz, which carries 20% of the world’s oil, is set to reopen on Friday when a deal is signed in Switzerland, officials said.
“The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“Congratulations to all! I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade. Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!”

Last week exposed the utter hypocrisy of Democrats who scream about “free and fair elections” and demand that we get dark money out of politics.
Specifically, the House Administration Committee shined a spotlight on the Dems’ major fund-raising platform, ActBlue, and its apparent efforts to end-run the federal laws that Dems insist are all about “clean campaigns.”
The Justice Department is investigating ActBlue’s role in the use of straw donors to launder illegal giving; a larger federal probe is looking into the platform’s alleged efforts to help funnel illegal foreign donations to Democratic candidates.

It was both a spiritual and strategic move when President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed a bill adding the words “under God” to the Pledge of Allegiance.
“From this day forward, the millions of our schoolchildren will daily proclaim in every city and town, every village and rural schoolhouse, the dedication of our nation and our people to the Almighty,” the president said upon signing the bill on Flag Day, June 14, 1954.
“To anyone who truly loves America, nothing could be more inspiring than to contemplate this rededication of our youth, on each school morning, to our country’s true meaning,” he continued.

The State Department has dropped sanctions against one of the loudest opponents of George Soros in Eastern Europe.
Sali Berisha, leader of the Albanian opposition party, confirmed to the Daily Signal Friday that the State Department lifted sanctions against him on Thursday. The State Department had sanctioned Berisha, a former president and prime minister who steered the Balkan country after the fall of communism in the 1990s, for “corrupt acts,” such as misappropriation of public funds to enrich relatives. Berisha denied the claims.
