Democrats Now Want to ABOLISH the Virginia Government

The Virginia Supreme Court handed Democrats a stinging defeat — and instead of accepting it, they're floating the idea of blowing up the government entirely. Last week, the court struck down Democrats' rushed redistricting referendum, ruling it unconstitutional (Snip) Marc Elias, the left's go-to power lawyer for all things election-related, took the rhetoric to a genuinely alarming place. Elias responded to the ruling by invoking language from the Virginia Constitution itself. Not to make a legal argument, but to suggest that the current Virginia government has lost its legitimacy and therefore can and should be abolished.

Of COURSE they want to abolish the government. It is no longer a useful tool for them. The dems are reaching the end of a path that they have been on for decades. Our Government has a framework and a process. There have always been backroom games played but not enough to destabilize things. Then, decades ago, dems started to deliberately undermine the process of government. They got away with it. Then Trump demanded that government be carried out as the Constitution requires, which is nothing like what the dems had been doing. Trump's first term placed many conservative judges in place, especially in the SCOTUS. In his second term, Trump has gone to the court and said, "THIS is what the Constitution requires and allows.", and the courts have largely been recognizing common sense reality. Of course this has allowed Trump to rip out huge swathes of dem machinery that never should have been in place to begin with, with a legal decisions that blocks dems from rebuilding it. The only way the dems can abolish a government is through an overwhelming public mandate. Such a thing might happen in very strong dem states but VIrginia is not one of those. Vermont, California, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, Hawaii ... are such strong dem states but the dems already control those states via significant popular support. In the battleground states where dems would like to enhance control by "dumping" the government, there would not be sufficient liberals to carry it off.

I recall reading a short story about a community who had been so over-run by corrupt Democrat policies the small town rose up and overthrew the government by force as it was their only means of change since the politicians twisted the elections to always favor them. Today's Democrats are now realizing their version of government is not actually very popular or constitutional in many ways, thus, they need to change rules, allow for ballot harvesting, and rig the system because they control the system. People are finding out they've been taken, been forced to pay more taxes due to the fraud crafted by Democrats and are unable to get ahead as a result. It is imperative the 2026 campaign message focuses on how far left the Democrats of today have shifted. How they would never elect a JFK or Bill Clinton due to how conservative and moderate each were.

A new poll suggests that a sizable number of Democrats -- more than 40% in some cases -- believe the attempts on President Donald Trump's life were fake. The poll, which surveyed 1,000 Americans over the age of 18, was conducted by NewsGuard and YouGov. It asked people to respond to three statements: "The assassination attempt against Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents Dinner in April 2026 was staged." "The assassination attempt against Donald Trump at a Trump presidential campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024 was staged." "The assassination attempt against Donald Trump at Trump International Golf Club in September 2024 was staged."

Several Frontier Airlines passengers suffered minor injuries over the weekend when their plane, departing from the Denver airport, struck a person trespassing on the runway. That person was killed after being hit by the plane's engine, which caused an explosion and fire that aborted the takeoff. That man has now been identified, which is raising questions about whether this was a sinister act, given his extensive criminal history. Authorities said Michael Mott, 41, was the man hit by the plane on May 9. Mott has been arrested 20 times previously, including for attempted murder. He was most recently arrested about a month before he trespassed at the Denver airport.

History is rife with examples of tyrannical movements that never end their hunt for their ideological enemies. In 1989, Iran's then-Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, issued a fatwa against The Satanic Verses author Salman Rushdie. Rushdie was forced to remain under police protection or in hiding after that. (Snip) Thus, the blinding pathological hatred the left has cultivated against Donald Trump will not simply dissipate once the man retires from office. So long as he lives, they will try to jail, bankrupt, destroy, and/or literally murder him.
