There is no need to cry over spilled Tucker Carlson. His sell by date has expired. Since his days as a Fox show host, he has taken a bizarre turn. As Douglas Murray noted of Carlson’s apparent motivation, “It seems sadly is just propelled by this desire to try to claim that America is basically run by Israel, Jews, and simply does the bidding of Israel…I’m afraid there’s a number of formerly serious and prominent figures who just see everything through this lens these days.” Tucker sees conspiratorial Jewish machinations driving U.S. foreign policy. In reality, U.S. foreign policy has been guided by widespread sympathy for Israel,

I liked Jonah Goldberg far more than I ever liked Carlson and it was 'buh-bye' when he joined the dark side, so... And, BTW, "Liberal Fascism" by Goldberg is a great reference for anyone.

It is not an obscure lens he and others are peering through, it is simply pattern recognition, it is in plain sight everywhere, once you notice you can stop noticing.

As a longtime Fox enthusiast, I watched Tucker regularly. He didn’t lose me ‘at first cackle’ but others that followed were baffling. Not sure what’s going on with him now - or then.

I thinker Tucker is symptomatic of many anti-Semites in that they recognize that such a small group of people, often against overwhelming odds, m achieve great success and of course. It must be because they've gamed the system, etc. Of course, in Tucker's case, what are his real accomplishments? Son of a State Department diplomat, wearing of bow ties who got lucky with his initaal appearances on news shows that he was able to grow into his little empire. Whatever Tucker...

Carlson has either actually lost his grip on reality or is playing up to the lunatic fringe to get an audience. Either way, I tired of his games long ago, and studiously avoid him.

An American submarine sank an Iranian warship off the coast of Sri Lanka, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed Wednesday, the first US sinking of an enemy ship by torpedo since World War II. The attack left at least 101 people missing, one dead and 78 injured, sources in Sri Lanka’s navy and defense ministry told Reuters. The IRIS Dena frigate was armed with heavy guns, surface-to-air missiles, anti-ship missiles and torpedoes and could carry a helicopter. The 180-crew frigate had issued a distress call at dawn. “An American submarine sunk an Iranian warship that thought it was safe in international waters. Instead, it was sunk by a torpedo,”

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem testified that the Biden administration funneled cash to sponsors who trafficked and abused unaccompanied migrant children. Federal dollars poured through the Department of Health and Human Services right into the pockets of adults escaping screening, meaning many of those people ended up as outright predators. The Office of Refugee Resettlement dumped kids into homes without solid background checks, skipped consistent DNA testing, and ignored follow-ups that could've kept them safe. Nearly 450,000 kids cycled through the system, many of whom disappeared after sloppy placements. If Noem slams down documented proof linking this mess straight to federal blunders,

As my RedState colleague Brad Slager documented, many mainstream media outlets rushed to report on how Shajarah Tayyebeh, a girls' elementary school in southern Iran, had been hit on Saturday, with unverified claims from Iranian officials that it was "bombed in broad daylight, when packed with young pupils" after the start of Operation Epic Fury. Brad noted in his write-up that the suggestion/insinuation from these same Iranian regime officials that it was a deliberate "strike" on the school by the U.S. and Israel was not initially met with the appropriate amount of media skepticism from U.S.-based outlets that such claims warranted.

pen the Denver Post and you might experience intellectual whiplash. In one article, readers are warned that Colorado ski resorts face an uncertain future due to climate change, with “less reliable powder days” threatening the industry. Resorts must invest in snowmaking, diversify revenue streams, and brace for a warming planet. Right beside it? A forecast of more than two feet of snow for Colorado’s mountain peaks. Two feet. Apparently, the climate crisis is now capable of producing both the imminent demise of snow and an old-fashioned Rocky Mountain blizzard. Sometimes on the same page. This is not satire. It’s modern climate journalism. Climate journalism is actually a thing. The Washington Post employed 24-30 such journalists

Wth brilliant intelligence and close U.S. and Israeli cooperation and coordination, Operation Epic fury is systematically dismantling the terrorist regime of Iran’s ayatollahs. And as if in a game of chess, the war has reshaped the Middle East, (a consistent source of hostilities), into a more peaceful and orderly part of the world. It has also demolished fears of Russian and Chinese intervention on behalf of the regime. (Russia’s too broke and China’s grasp is less than its reach.) Indeed China, which depended on Iran and Venezuelan oil, is unlikely to make good for a while if ever on its threats to occupy Taiwan. A quick reminder of Iran’s anti-U.S.

China's been embedding itself in Latin America and the Caribbean for years. Decades, even. We know this. We know that during four years of whatever you want to call the Joe Biden administration, it got even worse. While Congress was arguing over pronouns and gender ideology, and the president was alienating our allies in the region, like Nayib Bukele; bending over for our adversaries, like Nicolás Maduro; and, well, probably taking lots of naps, China was setting up

t's bad enough that Rep. Eric Swalwell, who's running for governor of California, doesn't live here, as court filings allege. Now it's coming to light that he doesn't seem to have much loyalty to the country it's actually in. He's taken, and continuing to take, big campaign cash from a lawyer with abnormally strong ties to the Communist Party of China. According to Fox News: Rep. Eric Swalwell's, D-Calif., gubernatorial campaign continues to be bankrolled by Keliang "Clay" Zhu despite concerns over his ties to China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Zhu donated another $25,000 to Swalwell's campaign earlier this month after he had already donated $5,000 to Swalwell’s gubernatorial campaign in November
From Loyal Opposition to Sabotage 2 replies

I was raised to believe that democracy came with duties as well as rights. You voted. You accepted the outcome. You argued your case, made your peace with defeat when it came, and waited for the next election. Politics was competitive, sometimes bruising, but it was not meant to be an existential threat. The opposition’s role was to hold the government to account, not to weaken the country for political gain. That older civic instinct now feels rather quaint. In theory, the idea of the “loyal opposition” remains central to democratic life. But in practice, it is disappearing before our eyes. We still have opposition parties, of course. What we increasingly

Texas state Rep. James Talarico secured a victory over Rep. A University of Texas at Tyler poll conducted Feb. 13–22 surveyed 1,117 registered voters and 959 likely voters and found Crockett with 55 percent support compared to Talarico’s 37 percent, outside the poll’s 3.2-point margin of error

Jasmine Crockett didn’t simply lose her Senate primary. She staged a slow-motion meltdown on the way out the door, complete with preemptive claims of cheating and “disenfranchisement,” long before the votes were even done being counted. Early Tuesday evening, while ballots were still being tallied across 254 Texas counties, Crockett started laying the groundwork for an excuse. She told supporters there had been “a lot of confusion” in Dallas County. She insisted that “people have been disenfranchised,” blaming Republicans for supposedly targeting Dallas and hinting darkly at votes that might not count. Then she left her own watch party early and told the crowd not to expect results that night,
