Unearthed Data Makes Pennsylvania's Puberty
Blocker Payouts Look Even Sketchier

Pennsylvania saw a meteoric rise in the number of adolescents receiving puberty blockers through an insurance billing code currently being investigated under the Trump administration on fraud suspicions. More than 220 claims for puberty blocking drugs were reimbursed for minors aged 10-13 (snip) for precocious puberty between Jan. 1, 2013 and Dec. 31, 2024, costing taxpayers more than $1.8 million dollars (snip.) The number of claims in the 10-13 age group went from zero in 2012 and ballooned to 47 by 2016. The Department of Justice (DOJ) has raised concerns that this billing code may be fraudulently used by gender doctors for sex-rejecting interventions.

Comments:

Most legitimate prescriptions for puberty blockers for premature puberty are for children 8 years of age or younger, not ages 10-13 when puberty normally occurs.

Gender Doctors What filth. A person studies for years to become a doctor so that they can sterilize children? They shpuld all have their license suspended, maybe they would make good veterinarians.

If the government is passing out money with no oversight to confirm how it is being used, the scammers will instantly figure out a way to collect. And many leftist politicians will somehow get their share as well.

Anti-ICE Activists' Goal Isn't Stopping

A simple, but deeply unfair and manipulative narrative (snip) congealed as soon as Trump took office: ICE enforcement amounts to egregious military raids (snip) and as such, ICE is responsible for any unfortunate violence (snip.) Obviously that narrative has gone into overdrive since the unfortunate killing of Renee Good in Minneapolis (snip) Notably we're not seeing many ugly situations like what happened in Minneapolis in red states because the police and authorities there have been directed to cooperate. So Democrats have a simple choice before them: They can choose to (snip) cooperate with ICE, or they can choose to make their communities more dangerous.

Predictably, a fresh wave of outrage against President Donald Trump and his administration's immigration policies followed the shooting in Minnesota of anti-ice activist Renee Good. Viral videos of alleged outrages committed by ICE agents are bolstering the case against the ongoing raids and deportations. While the majority of those speaking out against them are on the left, some on the right are also falling prey to the pressure campaign. These queasy conservatives now claim that their objections to the ICE raids are grounded in a suspicion that they may be detrimental to the goal of mass deportations.

The system administrator, Aurelio Perez-Lugones, was charged earlier this month with unlawful retention of defense information (snip.) Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that the search was conducted at the request of the Defense [sic.] Department and that the reporter had been "obtaining and reporting classified and illegally leaked information from a Pentagon contractor."

Reports circulating on social media alleging sexual assault, excessive force and kidnapping of U.S. citizens by federal immigration agents during recent enforcement operations in the Twin Cities gained widespread attention this week. But the Department of Homeland Security is pushing back on those claims and saying they don't withstand a review of the facts. In one case, cellphone video captured agents escorting a detainee into a portable toilet during an arrest in Minneapolis. TikTok activists immediately implied it was a sexual assault (snip.)

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Federal officers in the Minneapolis-area participating in its largest recent U.S. immigration enforcement operation can’t detain or tear gas peaceful protesters who aren’t obstructing authorities, including when these people are observing the agents, a judge in Minnesota ruled Friday. U.S. District Judge Kate Menendez’s ruling addresses a case filed in December on behalf of six Minnesota activists. The six are among the thousands who have been observing the activities of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol officers enforcing the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area since last month. Federal agents and demonstrators have repeatedly clashed since the crackdown began.

I mean, seriously. Not only will Mulvaney be taking a significant role in a musical about women in history, but he will be taking that role away from an actual woman. Larry Ellison, once the world's richest person and the co-founder of the media and entertainment conglomerate, Oracle, renamed his German-built yacht the Izanami, which, spelt backwards, reads: 'I'm a nazi'. The 81-year-old chose to name the enormous, 191-foot vessel after a Shinto deity in Japanese mythology, the goddess of creation and death, seemingly without realizing the phrase it spelled in reverse. The Jan. 7 shooting death of Renee Good has become a political Rorschach test. Thirty-five percent believe the shooting was justified, while 12% have no opinion. But the poll results vary widely when the respondents’ political affiliations are examined. Seventy-seven percent of Republicans believe the shooting was justified, while 28% of independents and only four percent of Democrats hold the same opinion. These poll results are unsurprising.
