State policies are a monumental factor in electricity costs, and Democrat-led states have driven prices upward through pushing aggressive mandates and choking reliable power supply, according to a new report by the Institute for Energy Research (IER). The new report (snip) found that blue states generally have higher electricity costs than red states. (snip) IER's report notes that all but one of the top 10 most expensive states for energy -- per kilowatt hour -- are governed by Democrats. In contrast, 80% of the states with the most affordable electricity costs per kilowatt hour are "reliably red," according to IER.

If there was only a way to limit energy to those who caused this (or supported the same). They could run around with their chests puffed out in pride since they know they are saving the planet. (severe eye roll) Unfortunately, most of the populace will suffer due to the sabotaging of our energy production. I'm positive the Enemedia will blame President Trump when people start dying by the thousands due to hypothermia or heat stroke. Just like clockwork.

Colorado has untold coal and gas resources, and Excel energy's power plants are well run. So, what are they doing? They are building "renewable (solar and wind) facilities, to replace their conventionally powered electric generators. This little "project" will double electrical power prices and make us subject to the same weather that shut down the solar and wind power plants in Texas and cost the rate payers enormously to buy spot power from out of state. My plan is to install a gas-powered backup generator to avoid having to pay spot prices.

Democrats, the Party of “chaos and confusion politics.” Next I’d like to know who is behind my crippling insurance bills, be it self, car or home, they’re each numbingly oppressive robbing us of our discretionary income. At least by now we can see the result of MAGA-nomics on gasoline prices, getting down to $2.15 a gallon for unlimited this week.

In the aftermath of the massive Feeding Our Future scandal and broader allegations of systemic fraud in Minnesota’s social programs, a troubling theme has emerged: accusations of racism repeatedly used to deflect scrutiny, intimidate investigators and stall accountability. Rumors and reports of fraud in Minneapolis, primarily within the city’s exploding Somali community, have been circulating for at least a decade, but criticism of the fraud has been largely dismissed by elected Democrats as "racist" or being underpinned by animosity toward foreigners. News stories focused on Somali fraudsters in recent years were shot down as "racist."

Among the first things I taught my new students at the beginning of every new school year was the difference between deference and respect. One defers to others because of their position of authority, regardless of whether they are honest, honorable, decent and capable. Respect, however, must be earned every day. We defer to others because of their positions and to a lesser degree, their accomplishments. We respect others because of who they are, because they’ve proved themselves worthy of our respect regardless of their positions of authority. In the military, you defer to rank, but you respect those who don’t trade on it, or who fling their accomplishments
