In the aftermath of the massive Feeding Our Future scandal and broader allegations of systemic fraud in Minnesota’s social programs, a troubling theme has emerged: accusations of racism repeatedly used to deflect scrutiny, intimidate investigators and stall accountability.
Rumors and reports of fraud in Minneapolis, primarily within the city’s exploding Somali community, have been circulating for at least a decade, but criticism of the fraud has been largely dismissed by elected Democrats as "racist" or being underpinned by animosity toward foreigners. News stories focused on Somali fraudsters in recent years were shot down as "racist."

A “person of interest” in the Brown University mass shooting is in custody following an 11-hour manhunt — as witnesses revealed he shouted something before opening fire.
Two students were killed and nine others wounded in the attack on a final exam study session.
Witnesses said that the gunman shouted something, but revealed they were not sure exactly what. Detectives are still trying to figure out what the gunman said, authorities revealed.
It was also revealed that the gunman had a firearm with unique characteristics that helped cops tie him to the deadly shooting, according to NBC News.
However, authorities would not comment

Nearly five years after two pipe bombs turned up outside the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee headquarters on Jan. 6, 2021, the FBI finally made an arrest earlier this month. Brian J. Cole Jr., a 30-year-old from Woodbridge, Virginia, now faces federal charges for transporting an explosive device across state lines with the intent to kill and attempted malicious destruction by means of explosives. But new whistleblower disclosures shared with Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) are raising serious questions about whether federal authorities have the right guy.

Among the first things I taught my new students at the beginning of every new school year was the difference between deference and respect. One defers to others because of their position of authority, regardless of whether they are honest, honorable, decent and capable. Respect, however, must be earned every day. We defer to others because of their positions and to a lesser degree, their accomplishments. We respect others because of who they are, because they’ve proved themselves worthy of our respect regardless of their positions of authority.
In the military, you defer to rank, but you respect those who don’t trade on it, or who fling their accomplishments

This time of year, it’s not unusual for parents of younger elementary school kids to start having discussions of when their son or daughter will get wise to the reality of Santa Claus. At some point, one parent may say to another, “How old were you when you quit believing?” That brings me to the same question, different myth. How old were you when you quit believing in man-made climate change? Or man-made global warming? Or man-made global cooling?
Before going any further, since we do have our share of lib readers, I want to make one thing absolutely clear to them before the fake misinterpretations happen.

At least 12 people were killed — including a gunman — and 29 others wounded when two terrorists opened fire during a Hanukkah celebration in a “cowardly” attack on an Australian beach late Sunday afternoon.
Shots erupted at Sydney’s famed Bondi Beach at around 6:45 p.m. when a large crowd gathered to celebrate the first night of the Jewish holiday in an event called “Chanukah by the Sea 2025.”
“This cowardly act of terrified violence is shocking and painful to see and represents some of our worst fears about terrorism in Sydney,” New South Wales Premier Chris Minns said at a press conference Sunday night.
