In National Review, Andrew McCarthy has once again taken to the fainting couch. Confronted with the spectacle of Senator Mark Kelly and five other Democratic lawmakers releasing a coordinated video “reminding” the U.S. military to disobey “illegal orders” from President Trump, McCarthy describes the act as “craven” but ultimately dismisses the administration’s response as “military lawfare.” According to McCarthy, the President’s suggestion of a criminal probe or a court-martial is an abuse of power because the lawmakers’ speech is “legally unimpeachable” political dissent. McCarthy is a partisan hack posing as a lawyer. A card-carrying anti-Trumper. As a legal analyst. a fraud who leans very far left. When Fox has him on, I change the channel. I can't even stand to look at his snug face.

You can add Rich Lowry of National Review (yes, I know...) basically blowing off any serious investigation of the Six, etc. It's just politics ya know. Be thankful though that McCarthy isn't some JAG attorney cause we all know the advice he would give if approached about a Trump illegal order. He lives in a world far removed from the realities of the real world. BTW - I wonder how much Sen Mark Kelly when on active duty would have felt if one of his sailors or junior officers questioned one of his orders?

All right, which one of you clowns signed me up to receive mailings from the far-left Youth Save Democracy PAC? I suppose you think you’re very funny. But anyway, on Saturday, I received a breathless email from them, and it looks as if the sky is falling: “Robert,” it said chummily, “Donald Trump just said the quiet part out loud. In a recent interview, Trump openly mused about serving a third term as president - something explicitly forbidden by the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution.” After that, they threw every typographical denotation of urgency at me, just so I’d know how serious they are: “This isn't a joke. This isn't hyperbole.

You knew the Left was going to melt down over President Trump curbing third-world migration, especially from Afghanistan. The announcement comes in the wake of the attack on two members of the National Guard, Sarah Beckstrom, 20, and Andrew Wolfe, 24, by Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, an Afghan national on an expired visa. He shot these two on Thanksgiving Eve; Beckstrom passed away the next day. Wolfe has regained consciousness. Trump took it further on Thanksgiving, calling Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz “seriously retarded” for allowing his state to become overrun with Somali gangs and fraudsters. Of course, Democrats thought this was a racist policy, but it’s not;

A career in law enforcement taught some solid lessons. Among them, a small portion of the criminal population commits most crimes, and the entire criminal justice system is full of unintended irony. I once dealt with an insane female teenager, and after an incident where she was wandering around downtown taking potshots at people and things with a bow and arrow, sent her to the state mental hospital. Within a week, I spotted her back on the street and called the hospital. The conversation went like this: Me: “Hey, this is Detective McDaniel, I just saw crazy teenager back in town. We sent

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) is in a bit of trouble, as the fraud scandal in his state that has been going on for some time has blown up nationally. In addition to being covered by the New York Times in the wake of other journalists, it was further exposed by alleged Minnesota Department of Human Services employees who termed Walz, "100 percent responsible." They even revealed they told Kamala Harris and the DNC about the problems during her 2024 presidential campaign, but didn't get anywhere with them. Walz went on Meet the Press on Sunday, and it did not go well, as we reported. He was asked

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is reportedly considering pursuing new indictments against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) after a federal judge dismissed their prior charges in November. Comey had been indicted in late September for making false statements to Congress and obstructing a congressional investigation. James was indicted in early October for bank fraud and making false statements to a financial institution. Both pleaded not guilty. Judge Cameron McGowan Currie, as RedState reported last week, dismissed both cases while ruling that the interim U.S. Attorney who brought the charges, Lindsey Halligan, was unconstitutionally appointed.

Far-left New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani hasn’t even taken office yet, but the state has already been hard at work coddling illegal aliens and defying the Trump administration’s efforts to get criminal non-citizens off the streets. In fact, in this year alone, they’ve released almost 7,000 illegals, some of them accused of nasty crimes. These are the kind of people the left-leaning state is protecting instead of its citizens: New York state has released nearly 7,000 known illegal migrant criminals without notifying ICE since President Trump took office — including murderers, sexual predators and a maniac booted from the US eight times who attacked an Ithaca cop with a machete,

I was on Australian television tonight, and one of the topics was Tim Walz and the Minnesota fraud scandal. What was striking to me is that Walz has become an international laughingstock. His ineptitude is recognized around the globe. And yet, there is nothing new in the revelations of the past week or two. Bill Glahn of my organization has been writing about Feeding Our Future and the related Walz administration scandals for nearly four years. The fraud story is so far from being new, that in Feeding Our Future alone, the U.S. Attorney’s office has charged 78 defendants, two criminal trials have been held, resulting in convictions,

When I learned about Ben Shapiro’s new book, Lions and Scavengers: The True Story of America (and Her Critics), I was skeptical about reading it. I wondered if it was going to be just another left versus right polemic, which describes books that I’ve read over the last couple of years. Instead, Shapiro’s book was an insightful, comprehensive narrative about those who will fight for this country and their attributes. He also provided a brutal but accurate description of those people who not only want to destroy their political and ideological enemies but also destroy America in the process. The book was enlightening and disturbing. The times we live in are chaotic,

As I have written before, I don’t know whether Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who shot two National Guardsmen in Washington, D.C., killing at least one, is 1) a raving lunatic, 2) a devout Muslim–witnesses said that he shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he murdered Americans–or 3) a sucker who fell for Democratic Party talking points. The fact that it is hard to distinguish among these alternatives is revealing. In all likelihood, at least two of the foregoing categories apply. More broadly, we can see that the Democrats’ war on law enforcement is succeeding. It has been focused mostly against America’s immigration laws, which Democrats hate but don’t have the votes to repeal.

Billboards are popping up outside Fort Bragg and Camp Lejeune urging soldiers to disobey orders. “Marines: Not what you signed up for?” asks one. “Did You Go Airborne Just To Pull Security for ICE?” asks another one. The website urges soldiers to use encryption and offers ‘counselling’ on ‘disobeying immoral orders’. The organizations offering ‘counselling’ to soldiers include the National Lawyers Guild: a Communist organization which also defends Antifa. The billboards are promoting a system that, in its own words, is “built to connect active duty, national guard, and reserve members of the military with key resources on responding to unlawful orders”. They either don't know the problems that we're facing or they're ignoring them. And to be honest, I don't know which one's worse."

And if the plan works the way it’s designed, the gravy train that’s been draining American communities for decades is about to go belly up. Because most Americans don’t realize just how massive this system is or how much of our economy has been very quietly bleeding out thanks to it.
