For months, Donald Trump warned New Yorkers against electing Zohran Mamdani as mayor, referring to him as a “communist lunatic.” Mamdani, meanwhile, called Trump a “despot.”
All of that was put aside in an extraordinary Oval Office get-together Friday, the first face-to-face meeting between the two men.
Trump, who sought to kneecap Mamdani during the campaign, was exceedingly complimentary of the self-described democratic socialist, while Mamdani repeatedly talked up his hope that he and the president could work together to lower costs for New Yorkers.
“I met with a man who’s a very rational person,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office following the private

The Supreme Court of the United States has paused a lower court’s order in Texas that overturned new voting maps.
This week, a panel of three federal judges in the Western District of Texas struck down Texas’s redistricting maps. The panel ruled 2-1. Then, Texas appealed to the nation's top court on Friday.
The court will issue a response by Monday, Justice Samuel Alito, the associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, said in the Friday order.
“IT IS ORDERED that the November 18, 2025, order of the United States District Court is hereby administratively stayed pending further order of the undersigned or the of the Court.

The U.N. climate talks COP30 were hastily evacuated Thursday night due to a fire breaking out inside the venue in Belém, Brazil.
Smoke, flames, and a rise in temperature engulfed the pavilion area as panicked attendees rushed outside to be met by fire crews entering the stricken zone.
Reuters reports security footage showed flames spreading rapidly up an internal fabric shell that lined the walls and ceiling of the building before being extinguished.
Thirteen people were treated for smoke inhalation at the venue, organizers said, as thousands of delegates were evacuated as security staff formed a human barrier across the hallway.

WASHINGTON — Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, a once-loyal supporter of President Donald Trump who has become a critic, said Friday she is resigning from Congress in January. Greene, in a more than 10-minute video posted online, explained her decision and said she’s “always been despised in Washington, D.C., and just never fit in.” Greene’s resignation followed a public fallout with Trump in recent months, as the congresswoman criticized him for his stance on files related to Jeffrey Epstein, along with foreign policy and health care. Trump branded her a “traitor” and “wacky” and said he would endorse a

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia announced on X Friday she will resign from Congress early next year, after a weekslong falling-out with President Trump and much of her party.
Her last day will be Jan. 5, 2026, Greene said.
In a statement, the hard-right congresswoman expressed frustration with her party and with the change of pace in Congress, writing that GOP leadership had refused to work on addressing health care costs, and bills that she drafted on immigration and other issues had sat "collecting dust." She said the "legislature has been mostly sidelined."

Earlier this week, the American people were “reliably” informed by the left-wing press that the full grand jury that indicted disgraced former FBI Director James Comey did not see the final indictment.
“Judge grills government over apparent lapses in Comey indictment,” ABC News’ Peter Charalambous, Alexander Mallin, Katherine Faulders, and Nicholas Kerr wrote on November 19. According to the quartet, U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan “told a judge … that the full grand jury that indicted Comey did not see the final indictment — only the foreperson and another grand juror did.” (snip)The only problem?
It’s not true.

House Democratic leaders, including Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, contacted the U.S. Capitol Police and the House sergeant-at-arms to request protection for four representatives who appeared in a video message encouraging military troops to defy orders from their superiors that they deem illegal.
Reps. Chris Deluzio (PA-17), Chrissy Houlahan (PA-6), Maggie Goodlander (NH-2), and Jason Crow (CO-6), along with Sens. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) and Mark Kelly (D-AZ), tried agitating some troops and intelligence officials into potentially illegal actions of their own by defying orders they personally interpret as unlawful. It was a startling effort. The message was clear. They laid it out quite clearly, referencing "this administration" and how it

Are you tired of winning yet? I'm not. In the latest win, we learned on Friday that Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis will be investing millions to open a manufacturing plant in North Carolina. The intent is to produce Novartis pharmaceuticals in the United States, from start to finish. This is a big deal by any measure. Pharmaceutical giant Novartis said it will create a flagship manufacturing hub in North Carolina in an effort to produce all of its medicines from start to finish in the United States. A new investigation found that Minnesota taxpayer dollars were going far beyond the North Star State's borders and ending up in the hands of Al-Shabaab, an al Qaeda-linked terror group. Ryan Thorpe and Christopher F. Rufo of the Manhattan Institute uncovered a web of fraud involving Minnesota’s Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services program, Feeding Our Future and other organizations in a bombshell report. Thorpe and Rufo noted that, in many cases, members of Minnesota's Somali community were perpetrators of fraud. They added that federal counterterrorism sources confirmed that millions of dollars in stolen funds were sent back to Somalia, which is how Al-Shabaab got the cash

The man accused of setting a woman on fire on a Chicago transit train this week has been charged with federal terrorism, according to a criminal complaint.
Lawrence Reed, 50, was charged with one count of committing a terrorist attack or other violence against a mass transportation system Wednesday in the Northern District of Illinois.
The incident unfolded just before 9:30 p.m. Monday on a CTA blue line train.
Security video captured the moment a man whom authorities identified as Reed walked through the train car holding a bottle and approached the victim, a 26-year-old woman with her back toward him. He poured liquid over her head and tried to ignite it,

If you have a TV or social media, chances are you’ve seen Scott Jennings in his element: when he’s owning the libs.
No one does it better.
The CNN senior political commentator and Republican strategist has become one of the leading voices for conservatives around the country. He’s often the only Republican at the table, and he deftly takes on his liberal counterparts with rationality and humor. Jennings’ meme-perfect expressions of amused disbelief at what progressives say often speak for themselves.
Leading up to Donald Trump’s second term, Jennings was able to break down the president’s appeal to many conservatives for CNN viewers,

Like most conservatives or libs, I had no idea who Brandon Gill was until March, when I caught this exchange as he grilled NPR chief Katherine Maher. Maher was appearing before Congress as part of her failed effort to save federal funding for public broadcasting. [Tweet, video]
For me, that put him on the map, and I’ve followed him more closely since. If you’re not familiar with Gill, he’s a 31-year-old freshman Republican member of Congress who represents the solidly red 26th Congressional District in Texas, not far from Dallas-Fort Worth. He’s one of the youngest members in the House.
Gill was born on a military base.

ABC News might soon find itself staring down another expensive defamation lawsuit from President Trump, and honestly, it wouldn't come as a shock. On a recent episode of The View, Joy Behar confidently claimed that it was "obvious" Trump was a pedophile connected with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, implicating him in Epstein’s crimes. This wild accusation came without a shred of evidence tying Trump to Epstein’s criminal activities. In fact, Trump is arguably one of the few prominent figures who did the right thing and severed ties with Epstein years ago, unlike many Democrats who have since been ensnared in the fallout.
Despite the Democrats’ best efforts, the recent dump

The Prime Minister is set to approve plans for a controversial Chinese "super embassy" in central London, Sky News understands.
A final decision on the planning application for the former Royal Mint site near the Tower of London is due on 10 December, after numerous previous delays.
The proposal is highly politically sensitive due to concerns about Chinese espionage activities in the UK, inflamed by the collapse of a recent court case involving two men accused of spying for China.

The event — moderated by Rep. The Biden Justice Department secretly obtained more than two years worth of Representative Jim Jordan’s (R., Ohio) phone records during its sweeping investigation into the role President Donald Trump played in the Capitol riot.
Without his knowledge, the Biden administration targeted Jordan’s phone records weeks after the Biden administration launched its “Arctic Frost” investigation, according to records Jordan released Thursday night as part of his investigation into the role Verizon and AT&T played in “Arctic Frost.”

The Epstein scandal is taking center stage and evolving rapidly. It started as a grim tale of sex trafficking and exploitation, and morphed into a partisan battleground. The Epstein Transparency Act nearly unanimously passed the House and then cleared the Senate via unanimous consent shortly thereafter.
A discharge petition in the House bypassed leadership and forced a vote on the transparency bill. The bill passed with a tally of 427-1, compelling the DoJ to disclose Epstein-related materials within 30 days, excluding victim identities and explicit content like child pornography. The lone dissenter was Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA)

I’d be willing to bet that you probably know a few leftists who insist with a straight face they’re independents. I’ve met so many over the years that I can’t keep track. The same charade plays out in Congress, where Democrats get tagged as “moderates” even though their voting records tell a different story. Jon Tester built his whole career on that act, winning in a deep-red state back in 2006 and coasting through two more terms while backing the left every chance he got, right up until voters finally tossed him out in 2024. But, I digress. A similar situation is happening in the red state of Nebraska,

Among Donald Trump’s contributions to our public life is the revelation that a politician can, after all, pursue a defamation case successfully. Of course, it can happen only in extreme circumstances, but Trump Derangement Syndrome frequently gives rise to extreme circumstances. And Trump’s haters can’t seem to learn from experience.
Thus we have the latest outrage from The View, a television program on which a group of harridans shriek DNC talking points:
ABC News may soon be facing down another costly defamation suit from President Trump. On Thursday’s edition of The View, moderator Joy Behar proclaimed that it was “obvious” that Trump was a pedophile in league with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein,

A prominent Muslim advocacy organization is taking Texas to court, arguing that Gov. Greg Abbott's decision to brand it a "foreign terrorist organization" tramples both the U.S. Constitution and state law. The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin chapters filed a federal lawsuit Thursday seeking to overturn Abbott’s proclamation issued earlier in the week.
"This attempt to punish the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization simply because Governor Abbott disagrees with its views is not only contrary to the United States Constitution, but finds no support in any Texas law," the group said in its lawsuit.
Founded in 1994, CAIR operates 25 chapters nationwide,

The Department of Justice subpoenaed the personal phone records of House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan in 2022, seeking the Ohio Republican's phone data covering a more than two-year period. The subpoena, obtained by Fox News Digital, shows a federal prosecutor who later worked on special counsel Jack Smith's Jan. 6 investigation ordered Verizon to hand over the phone data, also known as toll records, reaching back to Jan. 1, 2020.
The request appears to be the most expansive yet of the publicly known subpoenas targeting senators and current and former House members during Arctic Frost, the investigation that led to Smith bringing election-related charges against President Donald Trump.

When can you not call an invasion an invasion? When it’s politically incorrect, of course.
But numbers are numbers. And the numbers are in after Immigration and Customs Enforcement began conducting operations in Charlotte, North Carolina: Tens of thousands of students were missing from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools on Monday, the first day of Border Patrol’s deployment there.
This amounted to over half of students in several schools, especially where the majority of students were Hispanic. According to WFAE-FM, the city’s school authorities issued a final number of 30,399, 10,000 absences more than it had initially calculated.
The data variances, school officials said, were common and a result of either including Pre-K students or

One picture from Thursday’s funeral for former Vice President Dick Cheney captured how much the Washington establishment loathes President Donald Trump. It was an event where Democrats, Democratic mouthpieces, and old-guard Republicans rubbed shoulders in a putative show of mourning for a man who helped define the Republican Party of the early 21st century. And they were united in despising the man who’s reshaping it — and the country at large. Rachel Maddow, the progressive powerhouse of the newly rechristened MSNBC (it’s MS NOW, now), was in attendance after virtually building her career attacking Cheney and his role in the George W. Bush White House. She was even caught

Say what you want about Zorhan Mamdani – and we have said plenty— but he may actually be smarter than every other leftist Democrat on the planet when it comes to President Trump.
First, some background.
From the moment Donald Trump descended the golden escalator in June 2015 to announce his candidacy, Democrats have been trying to destroy him. They’ve tried everything. A manufactured Russia hoax. Two impeachments. Countless legal actions and massive fines. Relentless name-calling. Two assassination attempts.
Each attempt was more desperate than the last,

Few stories grabbed national attention quite like the Cracker Barrel rebrand did this year. Even amid endless high-profile developments in Washington, the Cracker Barrel rebrand stood out as offensive to Americans everywhere. Like Bud Light's partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, Cracker Barrel's new look felt like an attack on an American institution from an out-of-touch C-suite that bought into the leftist idea of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The backlash was so severe that the company publicly slammed the brakes on their modern makeover and promised Americans they weren't changing a thing.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has updated its website with a new stance on the potential link between vaccines and autism. The new wording on the CDC’s site states, "The claim 'vaccines do not cause autism' is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism.
"Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities." The agency noted that the statement "vaccines do not cause autism" has been "historically disseminated" by the CDC and other federal health agencies in an effort to prevent vaccine hesitancy.

Former President Joe Biden and his ex-running mate Kamala Harris had an awkward reunion at Dick Cheney's funeral, according to a lip-reading expert. The two former leaders, who once worked closely together, have spent months apart. Both attended the funeral of Former Vice President Dick Cheney Thursday, which also marked Biden's 83rd birthday.
