Pedestrians and a cyclist were deliberately run down by a motorist said by police to have cried well-worn war cry “Allahu Akhbar”, with a sovereigntist political activist of the National Rally among those now in critical condition. What observers have called an “Islamist” or “Jihadist” attack, the kind long known in French cities, has struck ‘La France Profonde’, or deep France, with at least ten injured by a man driving a car into members of the public on a picturesque island best known for its fishing community and slow pace of life. 10 people were injured on Wednesday morning on the Île d’Oléron

Voters in Texas seemed poised on Tuesday night to approve a series of tax exemptions and bans as well as new investments in state infrastructure and research.
All 17 constitutional amendments on the ballot held majority support Tuesday night, most of which restrict the creation of certain taxes or allow for new tax exemptions. Other amendments would create state investments in water infrastructure, dementia research and technical college funds.
Proposition 10 received the largest share of voter support Tuesday night. The amendment would temporarily lower homeowners’ property taxes if their homes are destroyed by fires.

A UPS plane crashed near Louisville’s Muhammad Ali International Airport in a fiery wreck Tuesday evening, officials confirmed as a plume of smoke could be seen for miles.

The hard-charging conservative passed away last night due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease. The Wall Street Journal reports this morning on the aftermath of the Big Apple fight over socialism, where capital lost. Zohran Mamdani won easily last night, winning an outright majority of ballots cast by New York City voters, 50.6% as of this morning with 87% of precincts reporting. Andrew Cuomo got 41.7%, while Curtis Sliwa -- the only rational candidate still left on the ballot -- received 7.1% of the vote.
