The terrorists who launched the war by committing the worst crime against Jews since the Holocaust and who brought death and destruction on their own people should not be allowed to have a say in the future governance of the coastal enclave.

That's brutal. And it tells you what they think about Kamala Harris, at least at this point. She's dropping hints she may run, but I don't think she will find an encouraging reception. That may explain why Democrats have so much less in the bank than Republicans. There's also a concern about the radicals, and if the DNC is focused in the right direction.

It is by now blindingly obvious to any rational observer of American politics that the Democratic Party is circling the drain. Depending on which poll you believe, its favorability rating among U.S. adults is somewhere between 23 percent (CNBC) and 34 percent (CBS). Nor is it difficult to divine what has led to this dismal state of affairs — the party has lurched so far to the left that most of its iconic leaders would be regarded as too conservative to win the Democratic presidential nomination.
