Smartmatic — the company involved in a defamation lawsuit against Fox News over the latter’s reporting on the 2020 election — was indicted by a federal grand jury in Miami on Thursday for allegedly bribing a Philippine official in relation to the 2016 Philippine national elections. The indictment added the parent company of Smartmatic, SGO Corporation Ltd., as a defendant in the case already underway against three Smartmatic executives. The indictment charges that between 2015 and 2018, Smartmatic executives Roger Alejandro Piñate Martinez, Jorge Miguel Vasquez, and others “caused at least $1 million in bribes to be paid” to the former chairman of COMELEC, according to the Department of Justice.

I strongly hope that somehow this indictment will work to reverse the judgment against Mike Lindell for libel against Smartmatic. Lindell has shown himself to be a true patriot as well as collecting an amazing amount of evidence exposing the stolen 2020 election and Smartmatic's role in it. The earlier judgement against Fox News smelled like some sort of deception with which Fox News cooperated. Please, LORD, let the truth come out and justice be served!

FTA: the indictment charges Smartmatic, along with Piñate and Vasquez, with one count of conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, as well as one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering and three counts of international laundering of monetary instruments. Violations of the FCPA are not to be taken lightly and will inhibit anyone associated from obtaining appointments, board seats, advisory roles, etc.. for many companies and corporations. It likely will (should) result in review of where any of these company members have associated over the past several years and investigations into their company records too. Doubtful this was an isolated instance either.

Protesters supporting the global intifada to destroy the state of Israel are embedded in today’s “No Kings” protests — a nationwide demonstration which organizers say evokes “power to the people,” though an investigation into its funding and planning tells a different story That’s the conclusion of an extensive investigation by Fox News Digital published Saturday. It reveals that the movement is funded and organized by a coordinated network of Democratic nonprofits, labor unions, and political action committees as well as “self-declared socialist groups” and the “most virulent activists against Israel,” the report stated. For example, in New York, “UAW Labor for Palestine” and “NYC Labor for Palestine” quietly called for the

During Thursday’s New York City mayoral debate, socialist Zohran Mamdani implied former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is unqualified to be mayor because he hadn’t visited a mosque. (snip) “Muslims … want equality and they want respect! … Can you name a single mosque you went to in 10 years?”Whether Cuomo has been to a dozen mosques or no mosques matters naught. What matters is that an American politician — in a city that was attacked by radical Islamists less than 25 years ago — apparently has to prove his worth by logging mosque visits. But this type of pandering requirement is a slap in the face to the founding principles of

After a U.S.-led campaign, the United Nations has postponed a vote on a proposal to impose the world’s first global carbon tax on shipping, delaying the decision by one year. The rule was expected to come up for a vote this week as part of the U.N. International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) "Net-Zero Framework." But a majority of member nations voted to defer it after failing to reach consensus amid U.S. opposition. Backed by the European Union and Brazil, the plan seeks to raise billions from carriers that exceed new emissions limits, channeling the revenue toward climate adaptation and clean-fuel projects in developing nations. Washington and Riyadh led the opposition.

Hamas politburo member Mohammed Nazzal told Reuters that “exceptional measures” had to be taken when it carried out public killings in Gaza on Monday, which drew widespread criticism for their extreme violence. He claimed that those executed were criminals guilty of murder. Nazzal also refused to commit to Hamas disarming itself, which Israel has demanded as part of a peace deal.

NYPD officials agreed to turn a sliver of Brownsville in the NYPD’s 73rd Precinct into a “police free zone” last week as part of an city-funded experiment called the Brownsville Safety Alliance that initially was only twice a year but now runs four times annually. And it’s an initiative that’s received praise from anti-cop, mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani, an official with the group that runs it told The Post.
