Three recent events have underscored the catastrophic erosion of the foundational tenets of the United States and the anti-Americanism of the Democrat Party. The first is the brutal murder of a young woman in Charlotte, N.C., Iryna Zarutska. The second, the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The third, sitting Democrat senator Tim Kaine’s declaration reflecting a fundamental belief within the current Democrat Party that the government is the source and, thus, the final arbiter of all human rights. Over the centuries, those that deem the state is paramount and, thus, the source of all rights, believe granting, limiting, or denying these rights is the sole discretion of the state based on

We all know that when you corner an animal, it will fight tooth and nail for its survival. This means that even supposedly meek creatures will defend themselves with a surprising level of frenzy and violence. The choice for any cornered creature facing death is to go out with an all-out snarl.
This is where the Democrat party movement finds itself. Snubbed at the polls, cut off from sub rosa USAID sustenance, humiliated time and again by the ever adroit Donald Trump, and hemorrhaging its plantation BIPOCs, the party has resorted to obscenities, outright antisemitism, and the defense of criminals everywhere (including drug-runners
In the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk by a violently deranged and hate-filled leftist (yes, that is a confirmed fact), some on the hard Left have been publicly expressing justifications for, and even celebrations of, the murder. These ghouls do not represent America, nor do they represent America's center-left coalition writ large. Many politicians, public figures and private citizens on the 'progressive' end of the spectrum have prominently and unequivocally denounced the killing. This must be acknowledged and embraced with gratitude by all people of good will. The forces of decency must stand together against the cancer of political violence and twisted vigilantism.
Some top Trump officials have made some not-so-helpful remarks about free speech and hate speech, namely from Attorney General Pam Bondi. I don’t think the government should be the point of the lance in targeting people who say insane things. We, as citizens, do a fine job exposing those creeps—there have been hordes of professionals fired or placed on leave for gross posts celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk. We’ll revisit that later, but, of course, CNN was aghast at this, with host Abby Phillip trying to spin this as a move to punish the Left and President Trump’s political rivals. That’s such a juvenile, knee-jerk take.

Governor Walz is still threatening to call a special session of the Minnesota legislature in the aftermath of last month’s mass shooting by Robin (formerly Robert) Westman at Annunciation Church in Minneapolis. He wants them to do something about “gun violence” and to adopt an “assault weapons” ban.
Walz has been threatening to call the special session for a while. Something has caused him to pause. Perhaps it’s the fact that not all Democratic legislators think it’s a brilliant idea. On Saturday, a huge crowd turned out for a “Unite the Kingdom” rally in London. It was led by Tommy Robinson, and Elon Musk appeared via video link. The crowd also honored Charlie Kirk. Official estimates put the crowd between 100,000 and 150,000. I am no expert on crowd size, but it looked much bigger than that. Some partisans claimed it was as many as three million.
English and United Kingdom flags were everywhere. The demonstrators were protesting the British government’s immigration policies, which threaten to render England extinct, and assaults on freedom of speech, exemplified by recent arrests of conservatives for tweets. Probably the worst crime a journalist can commit is attributing to someone a statement–putting it in quotation marks–that the person never said. That would get you fired from a 9th grade student paper.
But it is exactly what former Washington Post “journalist” Karen Attiah did, on the BlueSky hate platform: (X) The quote Attiah attributed to Charlie Kirk? He never said it. She just made it up. Her fabrication was rapidly exposed on X, and The Washington Post did the only thing it could, confronted with such misconduct: they fired her.

The far-left New Republic, in the immediate aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, declared that Democrats’ responses condemning the killing were “too tasteful for the moment,” warned that “empathy helps prop up Republicans and Trumpists as legitimate and normal political actors,” and urged Democrats to adopt a “callous, perhaps, but short of cruel” tone — even suggesting they say, “I’m sorry his family is suffering. The Washington Post has fired now-former global opinions editor Karen Attiah after she appeared to celebrate the political assassination of Charlie Kirk. That comes amid a range of firings across multiple sectors of people who apparently have no self-control whatsoever, nor the common decency to practice it.
Kirk was murdered by a far-left radical who had a "trans-furry" boyfriend while holding an open debate on a Utah college campus. The shooter, Tyler Robinson, fled after firing the fatal shot before his father and a youth pastor detained and turned him in a day later.
For her part, Attiah reacted
U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday said he would file a $15 billion lawsuit against The New York Times, alleging defamation and libel, and calling the newspaper a “mouthpiece” for the Democratic party.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump attacked the newspaper for being “a virtual ‘mouthpiece’ for the Radical Left Democratic Party,” while accusing if of making false statements about him, his family and business, without elaborating on the allegations.
The lawsuit suit was being brought in the state of Florida, Trump said without providing further details.
