Two more alarming Secret Service failures

Somehow a Glock and Code Pink were allowed within close proximity of the President. It’s astonishing to me that these kinds of failures have happened given POTUS’s well-known brushes with death. Somebody -- multiple somebodies -- need to be fired and fired stat. First, the Glock. It happened at Trump’s Virginia golf course where a “Trump National club member was able to carry [it] into the club in Sterling, Va. while Trump was golfing there last week even though a USSS Uniformed Division officer had screened the bag by hand and wanded the man carrying it.” How, how is that possible?

I believe it is obvious by now that the Secret Service has no intention of protecting President Trump! I believe they’re deliberately leaving gaps in his protection that sooner or later will result in another assassination attempt.

It goes without saying that this is totally unacceptable! Whether by laxness, incompetency or design, this cannot be allowed to continue. What is this, a serious protection of the POTUS, or some version of “fool me twice”, or “third time lucky“?! I fail to see a logical excuse, much less an acceptable reason.

The SS is obviously not protecting the President. One inch difference and Trump would not be President. How many failures does the SS get. Maybe we need to get another agency to protect the President. We don't have time for months of Congressional hearings. Congress cannot get Trump's nominees or a budget done. Congress is focused on Epstein and other Democrat misdirections, as Democrats go to their chambers and laugh their tails off, as Republicans go to the floor to complain, while doing nothing about it.

I'm surprised that Trump would go anywhere that Haters might spit in his food....or worse. Code pink is a threat, as a funder and organizer of multiple riots , as well as paying the Lawyers on hand that represent rioters, closely tied to the DNC and DCCC who get them passes to any major Capitol event or committee hearing....anyone who gifts them passes that turn into protests should be blocked from ever being able to get passes of any kind to any official event.

Trump needs to have a total reset on his protection detail. Starting with lie detector questioning to assess loyalty to the president.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox announced Friday morning during a joint press conference with the FBI that law enforcement had taken Tyler Robinson into custody in connection with the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. The arrest comes 33 hours after the deadly shooting at Utah Valley University, where Kirk was shot during a public appearance. “Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. We got him,” Cox told reporters in a solemn briefing. He explained that the breakthrough came after a family member of Robinson reached out to authorities on the evening of Sept. 11.

The suspect alleged to have assassinated Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk has been identified and is in custody, according to the FBI. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox participated in a press briefing with FBI Director Kash Patel on Friday. “Ladies and gentlemen, we got him,” Cox declared. The governor explained that “a family member of Tyler Robinson reached out to a family friend who contacted the Washignton County Sheriff’s office with information that Robinson had confessed to them or implied that he had committed the incident.” Cox further explained that Robinson arrived on the Utah Valley University campus, where the shooting occurred at about 8:29 a.m., in a grey Dodge Challenger.

Charlie Kirk is no longer with us. The conservative activist, host, and founder of Turning Point USA was assassinated at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, today. He was 31. He leaves behind his wife, Erika, and two children. A shooter took a single shot, striking Kirk in the neck. The footage is ghastly. He was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. As condolences and thoughts and prayers pour in, you can leave it to MSNBC to peddle gun control and other personal attacks on Kirk, who promoted freedom

Under Joe Biden, or whoever was running the country between 2021 and 2024, over 470,000 unaccompanied migrant children waltzed into the country. Many of these kids promptly vanished into a bureaucratic black hole. Since then, in a move both heroic and horrifyingly necessary, the Trump administration has located over 22,000 of these kids, arrested 400 traffickers, and uncovered the grim reality that 27 children met tragic ends through murder, overdose, or suicide. Yes, Epstein’s operation was a master class in depravity, but Biden’s border policies might just take the cake, and it’s a moldy, taxpayer-funded one at that.

The U.S. Supreme Court will soon decide whether or not President Trump’s tariffs will stand. On September 3, Trump’s Solicitor General asked the court to expedite its review of the case “to the maximum extent feasible” because the case’s presence on its docket was interfering with international negotiations. In a Labor Day news conference, President Trump’s top trade and manufacturing policy advisor Peter Navarro discussed the upcoming case. The key issue will be whether Trump’s tariffs qualify under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). Navarro argued that Trump has been using tariffs to address not just one, but three different emergencies:

An Australian woman has been found guilty of vilifying male athletes competing in women’s sports … and now faces fines and penalties of up to $200,000 (Australian)! According to a local court of New South Wales, Kirralie Smith “unlawfully vilified” two males playing soccer on women’s teams by stating that they have unfair physical advantages over the women and noting that opposing female players had suffered severe injuries due to this fact. Two-hundred-grand for stating an obvious truth. Bad on ya, mate! Canada’s Prime Minister Mark “Mohamed” Carney recently stated that “Muslim values” are “Canadian values.”

What do you call it when 9 people are killed and 52 wounded in Chicago? Labor Day weekend. And what can you say about a governor and mayor who, despite all that bloodshed, not only refuse federal help, but rally their citizens to resist that help? A former Chicago police official opined that Democrats fear Trump stepping in because it exposes their inability to control the chaos they’ve enabled. Like in many blue cities, Chicago’s violent crime rate is a feature, not a bug, of soft-on-crime policies. Yet, hilariously, a Chicago Democrat is begging Trump to save the city, proving that even some leftists

A way to demoralize one’s own fighting forces reportedly is in use by the Russian military as its invasion of Ukraine continues. If so, what Russia is doing serves a twofold purpose—to hide the number of casualties Moscow has suffered in its war with Ukraine, and to hide evidence of non-military deaths for which it is responsible. In fighting an earlier war in Afghanistan (1979–1989), Russia—then the former Soviet Union—embarked upon a similar strategy to hide the true impact of its troop losses. However, what it is said to be doing in Ukraine represents a new low in pursuing that objective. To avoid stirring up criticism among the Russian public

Democrats and liberal media have relentlessly politicized the Jeffrey Epstein case because they seem more interested in trying to spin it as a Donald Trump scandal than in seeking justice for Epstein’s victims. This political exploitation is glaringly obvious, given the Democrats’ own silence when they controlled Congress and the White House; they never released the Epstein files they claim are under wraps to protect Trump. Of course, that narrative just blew up in their faces after the Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee dumped roughly 34,000 pages of Epstein-related documents online, a long-overdue release.

Germany, the region that once pushed back against the entire Roman Empire, has self-immolated and will soon be no more. It’s a sad and useful reminder about the destruction that leftism has wrought across the West. If you examine a map of the Roman Empire at its peak, one thing you might not have noticed is that the Romans never made significant inroads into the regions held by Germanic tribes, the area that became modern-day Germany. This wasn’t just an oversight on Rome’s part or a carelessly missed opportunity. It happened because of one man, Arminius, and the Battle of Teutoburg Forest in 9 A.D.

MSNBC fired Dowd on Wednesday evening after he said that Kirk’s so-called “hate speech” led to his assassination, which sparked intense backlash among conservatives and mourners. The political analyst wrote in a Substack post that he did not expect people to be outraged by him bringing up that Kirk is a “divisive and polarizing figure.”

Newsom said in July. Don't bother looking, governor. Any eighth grader could tell you that a governor can't order federal law enforcement or any other federal official to do anything. WASHINGTON — Following Charlie Kirk’s assassination, President Donald Trump may be uniquely positioned to tamp down the anger that suffuses American politics and lead a movement to bind up a bitterly divided country if he chooses. But, political strategists and officials from both parties told NBC News, that’s not the path Trump appears to be taking. Trump has been both a target of assassination attempts and a fount of vitriolic rhetoric. He knows firsthand the passions that drive American voters and, were he to renounce partisan attacks and call on others in both parties to do the same, that gesture could potentially send a healing message.

It is almost a quarter-century now since the Sept. 11, 2001 jihad attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York City and Washington. Many Americans assume that the jihad threat was somehow neutralized and contained in the immediate aftermath of those attacks, such that a large-scale jihad attack can never happen again in America, and the public discourse has moved on to other issues: mass migration, skyrocketing crime in the cities, tariffs, and the like. In reality, however, the jihad against the U.S. has not ended, and in the near-quarter century since 9/11, the jihadis have made immense gains.
