BlackRock has finally come for our utilities.[snip] And, it’s not just BlackRock. Another big player on Wall Street, Blackstone, is also in on the game, which recently announced its plans to acquire “a major electric utility in Texas and New Mexico” if permitted to do so. So why are these global investment firms turning their attention to our energy suppliers? Well, because the AI demand is set to drastically drive up energy consumption, and in a world of wind turbines and solar panels, that energy is going to be expensive.

Allowing utilities to be owned by HUGE international players cannot be permitted. Their goals are, of course, only exorbitant profits at the public's expense. They will beholden only to those interests without even ensuring power security except to the highest bidder.

"They" are coming after all of US. To "them", Return On Investment is "their" God. Shutting of your electricity. Wi-Fi, bye bye.

Larry Fink, CEO Blackrock, and now the co-chair of the WEF, are all evil. Fink replaces Schwab, one monster for a worse monster. Any company that attends the WEF should be boycotted.

Our utility rates increased noticeably about 4 years ago. Are they going to gouge us more? They introduced 'dynamic pricing' and charge a lot more during peak usage hours.

Laryy Fink who runs Blackrock is an evil man, now a top leader in the hateful, evil WEF.
You can be certain that they are up to no good.

Blackrock seems well-known, but for those not living where Blackstone is active, Blackstone is one of several corporations buying up single-family residential housing across the housing and turning them into permanent rental properties. Thus as players in the housing market, their activities tend to reduce inventories for sale and thus drive up the cost of housing. Sellers may find this kind of distortion pleasing, but buyers find it infuriating.

Oops. #9 should read "across the country" ... not "across the housing" ... Thanks for asking, but yes, English is my first language :-)

I saw where Blackrock was going several years ago and sold my stock. My broker friend said he had several clients who had done the same. Unfortunately, our little protest sales wouldn't have made the slightest difference. Only a mass selloff would get their attention. They virtue signal about their ongoing DEI and woke stance yet would sell their daughters into white slavery to make a buck.

Everyone wants to see their IRAs, 401ks and other investments grow but complain about rising costs. Everyone thinks they are getting wealthier but everything eventually evens out. A $Million sure ain't what it once was.
Fink's responsibility is to increase his company's wealth in order to keep his investors happy just as any other CEO. It is government's job to protect the
consumer. Which one is better at their jobs? Whose fault is that?

I'm inclined to think that President Trump knows these international players...and he's got a surprise for them...what it is...or when it will come...haven't any idea...but I'm thinking it's in the making with his staff of talented men and women....it's so reassuring to feel at ease with one more news article about doom and gloom....hits the news....

Blackrock's Larry Fink made it abundantly clear in a recent interview that people are expected to comply with the will of the elites such as him. If they refuse to comply, they will be forced to comply in order to achieve the correct behaviors. He is evil to the core.

And by the way, Blackrock was reportedly in position to finance the reconstruction of Ukraine when this senseless war is finally over. In early 2024, Presidential candidate Trump said Blackrock's services would not be required. Five months later, an attempt on Trump's life was carried out by a kid, Matthew Crooks, who appeared in one of Blackrock's recent commercial ads. Just a weird coincidence?

I'm actually surprised that they didn't start this years ago.
“You’ll own nothing and be happy. (while paying us rent on EVERYTHING)...Or else.”
The rather aptly named Larry FINK has already proclaimed that unlike Mr. Nice Guy Klaus Schwab, that he will FORCE us peasants to do the WEF’s bidding.

It sounds to me like if you live in an area served by a utility that Blackrock or Blackstone is working to 'acquire', it's time to start figuring out how to get Off the Grid. On the Gulf Coast where I live it's hot and humid, and how to power the air conditioning is the big obstacle to overcome.

Black Rock has risen to become the "Scarlet Beast on which the Whore rides."
It should be struck down by Congress as being an illegal monopoly intent on changing societal norms and standards, as evidenced by their past push for ALL publicly traded corporations to institute their "ESG" scoring system as a true reflection of their "trading value." This gave us "DEI" and other such precipitous business declinations.

I have to wonder why the Federal Govt. doesn't have a crack Hacker Unit to doo all these Criminals In...getting their data is a good start, Leftists are extremely Lazy, by the time they think of hiding something our Govt should be 50 steps ahead of them.
