Are They Trying to Get Him Killed?

Original Article

Today the Washington Post published a long hit piece on Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s security detail. The article is based on interviews with “more than a dozen” people, all of whom, of course, are anonymous. This is the gist: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s unusually large personal security requirements are straining the Army agency tasked with protecting him as it pulls agents from criminal investigations to safeguard family residences in Minnesota, Tennessee and D.C., according to numerous officials familiar with the operation. The Post’s thesis is elaborated on in great detail. We have, for example, this account of a Washington Nationals baseball game: In late July, for instance, the Hegseths wanted

The liberal media that is allied politically to the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats has no business elaborating on the confidential security measures involving law enforcement to protect Trump, or his appointees and nominees.

Actually, I think they are trying to increase the threat to the safety of his family in order to get him to resign (although, they would not mind if they also got him, or a member of his family killed).

President Trup, please double Hegseth's detail. And prohibit interviews with the WaPo. Meanwhile the rest of us can pray for him. Not by might nor by power but by my Spirit, says the Lord. Please Lord take care of Pete Hegseth.

I hope Hegseth himself is armed during his travels to U.S. bases. There’s no telling what kind of nutcases the last administration let into the armed forces.

The days of the big city newspapers are dying. Declining circulation, production and delivery costs, expensive payroll costs and wrestling with a union shop. Some of the small local papers will survive but ours only manages to exist because of the advertising inserts delivered with the paper. The big, blue city ones are nothing but leftist propaganda publications and when they fold, I will p**s/dance on their graves. As a former newspaperman. I find it more than a little sad but time is passing them by.

FBI agents on Thursday morning raided the Maryland home of John Bolton, the former national security advisor to President Donald Trump and a staunch critic of the president, NBC News confirmed. The raid is part of a “national security investigation in search of classified records,” a person familiar with the matter told NBC News. An FBI official said, “The FBI is conducting court authorized activity in the area. There is no threat to public safety,” but declined to comment on Bolton, according to NBC. One of President Trump’s best qualities is that he understands energy–in particular, the vital need for affordable, reliable energy. Trump understands, further, that “green” energy technologies, wind and solar, are not and cannot ever be either affordable or reliable. They are essentially a heist, an attempt to transfer trillions of dollars out of certain industries, and into others. Also, out of the United States and into China. If the Left can pull it off, it will be the biggest transfer of wealth in human history. I hate it when Republican politicians subscribe to an “all of the above” approach to energy, which implies that wind and solar

From the Miami Herald, Judge orders Alligator Alcatraz shut down in 60 days, says no more new detainees. It’s an Obama-appointed federal district judge, of course, and this is the case involving the alleged “environmental damage” being done to one of the world’s biggest swamps. From the Herald, Though her order does not prohibit the state from making repairs to the site, the most striking aspect of the order is her demand that the state begin removing all generators, gas, sewage, and other waste items that have transformed the airstrip into a detention center within 60 days, rendering the site uninhabitable. The state of Florida, of course, is appealing the decision.

The far-left Washington Post obviously wants Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth dead. Nothing else explains why the Post published a story 1) revealing the Secretary’s security protocols, and 2) complaining he has too much security. If there is one truism about our regime media, it’s that they only complain about spending when it comes to protecting everyday American people through defense spending, or protecting Republicans with security details. We p*ss away trillions on welfare fraud, abortions, public schools, taxpayer benefits for illegal aliens, and antisemitic propaganda from NPR and PBS… Nevertheless, outlets like the Post only fight for more spending on all that. But when it comes to protecting the people they hate

The hurricane’s behavior in recent days makes it one of the fastest-strengthening Atlantic hurricanes on record and yet another indication that climate change is increasing the risk of rapidly intensifying storms. Erin became the first hurricane of this year’s Atlantic season Friday and exploded in strength from a Category 1 into a Category 5 storm in a little over 24 hours. Even after it weakened and re-strengthened into a Category 4 storm, Erin’s jaw-dropping transformation ranks it among the five storms

It turns out many Americans aren’t great at identifying which personal decisions contribute most to climate change. A study recently published by the National Academy of Sciences found that when asked to rank actions, such as swapping a car that uses gasoline for an electric one, carpooling or reducing food waste, participants weren’t very accurate when assessing how much those actions contributed to climate change, which is caused mostly by the release of greenhouse gases that happen when fuels like gasoline, oil and coal are burned. “People over-assign impact to actually pretty low-impact actions such as recycling, and underestimate the actual carbon impact of behaviors much more carbon intensive,

Medieval disease outbreaks? 7 replies

Has anyone noticed the incredible scrutiny that left-wing propaganda bureaus (formerly known as “news media”) give to every little disease outbreak? Let’s take measles, for example. It’s a virtually harmless childhood disease. You get measles once, and you’re immune for life. When I was a child, whenever any of our friends got the measles, it was time for a slumber party. All the kids who weren’t immune from previous outbreaks got the measles, and stayed home from school for a few days. Our parents planned it that way. Development of the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine in the 1970s put an end to this “abusive” practice. Nowadays, measles outbreaks are front-page news.

Cracker Barrel shed almost $100 million in market value after its stock plunged Thursday following the release of a new logo. The new design eliminates a longstanding drawing of an overall-clad man leaning against a barrel, in favor of a cleaner logo featuring just the chain's name. Shares of Cracker Barrel fell $4.22, or 7.2%, to $54.80 in Thursday trading, shedding $94 million in market value. The stock had dipped to a low of $50.27 earlier in the day, representing a loss of almost $200 billion in its capitalization.
