President Donald Trump has instructed legal experts to review “woke” installations in museums nationwide. According to an Aug. 19 post on Truth Social, the president believes that museums are the “last remaining segment of ‘WOKE,’” and he wants to address the issue the same way his administration has treated colleges and universities. Trump pointed specifically to a Washington, D.C., icon as a demonstration of the issue, saying, “The Smithsonian is OUT OF CONTROL, where everything discussed is how horrible our Country is, how bad Slavery was, and how unaccomplished the downtrodden have been—Nothing about Success, nothing about Brightness, nothing about the Future.”

This woke desecration of the hallowed halls of the Smithsonian stinks to the high heavens of communist treachery. President Trump's initiative to restore Truth and Sanity to American History is direly needed, not only in museums but academia all they way down to grade school. Every triumph of the Trump Administration from rectifying voter integrity to paring down the bureaucratic leviathan are in peril if our children continue to be taught to hate their own country.

Start with that big mud hut on Smithsonian property that features two actually famous black people and a couple of pieces of pottery on every floor. Harriet Tubman is worthy of fame and probably George Washington Carver.

Unfortunately, he mentioned slavery which will be the only point the news will focus on, and not anything related to the other topics he mentions. All he needed to do was mention "some exhibits have to be reviewed to ensure they are being balanced". What should be highlighted is that the very Constitution that is derided by Democrats was what ultimately ended slavery in the United States very early. Remember, the Treaty of Paris in 1783 markied the end of the Revolutionary War and established the United States as a sovereign nation. "The Act Prohibiting Importation of Slaves of 1807 is a United States federal law that prohibits the importation of slaves into the United States. It took effect on January 1, 1808, the earliest date permitted by the United States Constitution. This legislation was promoted by President Thomas Jefferson, who called for its enactment in his 1806 State of the Union Address. He and others had promoted the idea since the 1770s. It reflected the force of the general trend toward abolishing the international slave trade, which Virginia, followed by all the other states, had prohibited or restricted since then." (per Wikipedia) After that date, all slave ships were illegally entering the country. I've read that roughly 300,000 slaves were brought to America. The overwhelming (millions) were brought to South American countries and the Caribbean countries. Prior to 1783 Treaty of Paris, it was the territory controlled by England, France and Spain. This is what I mean would be more balance and not a central focus.

Despicable emphasis on wokism and racism. Thank god for Trump. The lies of these fraudulent bureaucrats have been accepted by uniparty for two generations. It’s a wonder we still have a country. There needs to be a museum like facility where any business wanting to participate can describe and show what's new. For example; home construction companies could demonstrate discoveries to make houses more hurricane resistant and they could put emphasis on how young people can get involved in these new technologies to give them some direction on carriers. Epcot at Orlando was created to display new technology but it was largely based on permanent structures so not capable of adapting to new, fast developing technologies. Young people largely aren't interested in looking at ancient artifacts and elderly are always interested in seeing what is coming. Maybe there is a place where this is done but I am not aware.

Pretty basic. You accept federal funds to support your museum, university, etc; whether it's $1 or $100 million - then you play by our rules. Until these exhibits are cleaned up, every elementary, middle or high school should NOT allow any of their students to visit DC.

I would love to see a "Complete" display regarding the world slavery throughout history, so the "dindoonuffins" in our nation could for once understand how little they know about slavery, and that the little they think they know, is wrong. Let's have a display for Slavery Throughout Human History, including China, Asia Minor, Asia Major, Greco-Roman Empires, Middle East and Africa, Europe and ancient Britain. Let's make sure they forever understand that they're not "unique" among mankind, or that it's only black people who suffered from slavery. Try tell that to the millions buried in the Great Wall of China. And let's have a "Great Big Beautiful Display" (GBBD) about America too. Let's start with the Indigenous Peoples of the land... you know, the ones we USED to call "Indians" back when we were growing up, but now can't because some American guys invented the Internet and over came armies of "Indians" from a place called "India" to play with our new toy. Sorry, "Indigenous Americans," but those other guys got first dibs on your trademark name. /s Some Factoids presented in the GBBD: ? Did you know American Indians owned slaves, making them the FIRST slaveowners in North America? ? Did you know the very first slaves brought to the Colonies were "WHITE?" ? Did you know those first white slaves were mostly Irish Catholics? ? Did you know that Irish Slaves were worked to death because they were FOC, whereas Africans came at a cost, making the white Irishman worth infinitely LESS than the black African. ? Did you know the British Sea Captains could commandeer Dutch, Portuguese, Danish, etc. ships, converting the entire ship's manifest into slaves then selling them to a Slaver in whatever Port they were bound, thus making the crew a bit richer, and the King with a new boat? ? Did you know there were many freed black slaves who themselves went on to own black slaves and run their own successful plantations? One such ex-slave owned over 100 slaves, servicing his large Plantation in Louisiana? ?....

If you think the H-1B visa program is about bringing in “the best and brightest,” think again. What we’ve actually imported is an army of cheap, unqualified labor that’s gutted our tech industry, sunk wages, and turned once-prestigious jobs into low-level coding sweatshops.Economist Peter St. Onge breaks it down perfectly in this clip… what was sold to Americans as this “high-skilled program” is now a marathon race-to-the-bottom that’s costing us our jobs, our innovation, and our competitive edge. But here’s the good news: President Trump and JD Vance are putting an end to the H-1B “bait-and-switch.” They’re ripping out the coding sweatshops by the roots and taking the program back

A common trope trotted out in defense of the modern GOP is that, for all its shortcomings, electing Republicans to positions of power is better than electing Democrats. If that argument is true, then why are the institutions in so many so-called “red states” just as left-wing as their blue state counterparts? A new report authored by the State Leadership Initiative (SLI) and obtained by The Federalist reveals how many Republican-run states “remain deeply entangled in the same bureaucratic bloat, cultural drift, and economic stagnation” that are features of those run by Democrats. While red and blue states often differ on major political issues (ex. gun rights and tax policy),

The comments by Moscow’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov undercut hopes that any progress has been made toward ending the Ukraine war since Russian President Vladimir Putin met with U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday in Alaska. Lavrov’s remarks further indicate that the Kremlin has not softened on its maximalist positions on Ukraine: that it becomes a neutral rump state; drastically reduces its military; and abandons its NATO membership aspirations after Russia is finished with it.
