Trump Is About to Go Nuclear Against Mail-in Voting

Original Article

President Donald Trump has been warning for years that mail-in ballots and voting machines are riddled with vulnerabilities that invite fraud and undermine trust in elections. We’ve discussed these vulnerabilities here at PJ Media extensively, and now Trump is taking action on them. On Monday morning, President Trump announced on Truth Social that he will issue an executive order to put an end to mail-in ballots before the 2026 midterms and restore “honesty and integrity” to America’s elections. In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump announced, “I am going to lead a movement

And not one single ballot will be counted after the deadline. No more Lyndon Johnson "found" trunkfulls of ballots days later. And they are always just enough to push the democrat over the line.

Voting day should be a national holiday with everything closed except pharmacies and ONE DAY ONLY like any other country in the world. Absentee ballots for only people in hospitals or overseas. At the end of the day, the vote count is done.

For some reason I receive a mail-in ballot for every election even though I don't request one. That leads me to believe there are a lot of ballots out there that are used fraudulently. I have a problem getting around even with my walker so it is much easier for me to vote early at the county election office. I can go there when the line is short. My name is marked to show that I have voted so I do not believe I would be allowed to vote again if I were to go to another place to vote on Election Day. I take the ballot that was mailed to me and they destroy it in front of me. There are too many ways to cheat with mail-in voting so I have no problem at all with that being eliminated. Many years ago before early voting was allowed, there was something called Absentee Voting. If you were going to be out of town or if there was any legitimate reason why you wouldn't be able to vote on Election Day, you could go to the election office, state your reason for requesting Absentee Voting, and they would allow you to vote early. Every single state should require identification documents for all voters. And no counting votes received after Election Day! There is no reason why it should take some states weeks to complete the counting process unless they continue counting until they get the result they want.

And I pray he gets rid of the voting machines. For all those years I stood in line on election day, colored in the square or circle on the vote, dropped it in the receptacle and went on my way, never dreaming my vote wouldn't count and there were others that voted that shouldn't have. Nothing has been right since 2000 with the Bush/Gore fiasco where AlGore tried to steal the election using hanging chads. Rush Limbaugh discovered the hanging chads were created when democrats were trying to use the stylus with too many votes and they all didn't fall off. It has been down hill since then. Clean this up, Mr. President.

Mail-in voting and lack of iron-clad voter ID will kill democracy, if it hasn't already. Mail-in ballots should be issued only upon request, and the chain of custody record should be sufficiently rigorous to stand up in court. Finally, no ballots received after Election Day should be counted.

My prayers for the protection of President Trump have been answered today and on many other days as well. If we can get rid of Mail-In voting, the USA will have another great awakening. My BFF lived at a large "retirement center" and during the last presidential election, the Election Commission took voting machines to her center. Other huge retirement centers in our metropolitan also enjoyed that voting privilege. Now we have a Democrat mayor. Wonder if he will do something similar?

absentee balloting is legitimate, provided for in elections law, governed and administrated over by the local office of elections, and very much needed by the aged and infirm. the culprits are mail-in junk , networks of evildoers, and tin can machines. there's a difference.

Although patriotic Americans and people of faith can, do and should agree that honest elections are necessary, and that President Trump is absolutely correct in pointing out that “voting machines are riddled with vulnerabilities that invite fraud and undermine trust in elections,” to deny every patriotic American and person of faith the right to vote is of serious concern. As evident by comments posted thus far, it is clear that individuals blessed with health that would permit casting an in-person vote seem to have forgotten or have chosen to disregard the reality of age and/or health issues that would prevent some people from being able to vote if an across-the-board cessation of mail-in voting would become law; further, doing so may deprive the candidate of votes that may have been personally favorable if the deprived voter had been able to cast an absentee ballot—some from military veterans, people who put their lives on the line for this country, preserving the freedom and right to vote. It is hoped that President Trump will have highly knowledgeable and trustworthy people advising him about possible options to permit every patriotic American and person of faith to cast a ballot—especially for a presidential election. In this Midwestern state, every person wanting to cast an absentee ballot is required to submit a state-designed document with specific personal information for a specific election to the local Board of Elections; if the application is approved, an absentee ballot will be mailed to that individual in a timely manner before the election with a specified date of return to make the ballot votes acceptable. By NO means should any state arbitrarily send out applications for absentee ballots or actual absentee ballots; if that regulation is breached, the returned/completed ballots should be considered null and void. To monitor fictitious applications for and/or returned/completed ballots may require state-of-the art ink, paper or detection equipment. Reality Check: Age and health take a toll on life that may impede getting out and about.

With all of the discussion of a mid-cycle census and a fight brewing over a proposed mid-cycle reapportionment, much attention has focused on the flight of conservatives and moderates from blue states to red states. And for good reason; even if Donald Trump can't get an extraordinary Enumeration before the regular census in 2030, blue states will lose significant representation in Congress by 2033. California and New York will likely lose four House seats each by the 2030 census, and other blue states could lose up to a half-dozen or more. Americans have spent the last several years literally voting with their feet, and the bill will come due soon.

Solving America's illegal immigration crisis didn't require amnesty -- just better leadership. Last week, the Center for Immigration Studies released a study showing America's foreign-born population dropped by 2.2 million from January to July. While the number of naturalized U.S. citizens increased, there was a staggering 1.6 million-person drop among illegal immigrants. CIS estimated that this represented a 10% decline in the country's illegal immigrant population. While determining the number of illegal immigrants always requires estimation, this drop is supported by anecdotal evidence. "Nurse in US for 40 years self-deports," a recent Newsweek headline reads.
