Cracker Barrel has found itself in hot water as the cherished food chain flaunts its new look - and loyal customers bemoan the lack of classic rustic charm. Locations of the Southern-themed restaurant and gift shop have been ditching their nostalgic and eclectic interiors for more modern decor since last year. A video shared by Cracker Barrel last August captioned 'New look, same Cracker Barrel!! We can't wait for you to visit' shows a Mount Juliet, Tennessee location - one of the first to undergo drastic renovations. More Americans than ever are choosing not to drink alcohol, according to a new Gallup Poll.
Only 54% of respondents to Gallup’s annual Consumption Habits survey conducted last month say they consume alcohol, which is the lowest on record in nearly 90 years.
"This coincides with a growing belief among Americans that moderate alcohol consumption is bad for one’s health, now the majority view for the first time," Gallup said in a press release.
