President Donald Trump’s determined use of the Alien Enemies Act to enable fast-track deportations is likely to get approved by a three-judge appeals court panel, say media reports.
Under the headline, “Appeals court seems likely to back Trump’s deportations under wartime law,’ the Washington Post wrote:
“Can you give me a Supreme Court case that says a federal court can countermand the chief executive on a decision in an armed conflict?” Judge Andrew S. Oldham challenged Lee Gelernt

A gang is by definition organized. And Tren de Aragua looked heavily armed, when invading those apartment houses in Colorado. The ACLU should think about defending Americans, instead of defending criminals.

It's time our government cut some costs by defunding the ACLU and Planned Parenthood...

The ACLU defends anything that is anti-Christ and anti-American.

#3 IMO the pledge of Allegiance is a fraud. I say it with everyone else but I know it is a fraud.
Our nation is no longer indivisible and many no longer believe in God, while those that do are often attacked..
Liberty and Justice for all? What a joke that is.
Indivisible = The Big Beautiful Bill a 50-50 vote. Fraudulent elections as the two parties are split almost evenly.
ANTIFA , LGBTQ, Anti-Semitism in our colleges.
Justice for all= J-6, Epstein, Officer Chauvin in jails for arresting a drug user who swallowed fentanyl and died.
Money and race decide too many cases.

Are you telling me that taxpayers fund the ACLU?...isn't it a law firm?... don't they get payment from their clients...what am I missing here....they are entitled to hire out to any clients...but...that doesn't mean that WE the people pay their clients bill....something is very wrong here....is it the same for the Southern Law Firm?....I think that's what they're called...how long has this been going on?....it's like PBS getting a free ride...on the back of WE taxpayers....

#8, the American Civil Liberties Union is a "charitable, non-profit" organization that dedicates itself to the provision and enlargement of civil rights under the Bill of Rights of the US Constitution. As such, they volunteer their efforts as civil liberties lawyers to individuals whose civil liberties they believe have been ignored or violated. Generally, Constitutional civil liberties are subject to violation most often by the actions of officials of federal, state, or local governments, especially--but not at all limited to--the police. The ACLU's charter or "mission objectives" sound entirely good and laudable. But in practice, many of the individuals they have represented have been criminals who have committed serious crimes or individuals whose right may have been violated by quasi-governmental entities like State-funded colleges and universities. On rare occasions, the ACLU has undertaken to represent politically conservative individuals whose rights, such as free speech rights, have been infringed or outright violated by certain government officials, laws, regulations, or ordinances. Rush Limbaugh was once one of those.
By its nature, the ACLU is made up almost entirely of highly liberal, semi-militant litigating attorneys. Their donors are nearly all individuals from the politically moderate left to the extreme left. When the ACLU undertakes lawsuits against the government, if they win their cases, the courts typically award their plaintiff clients attorneys fees pursuant to the civil rights laws which provide for awards of costs of litigation. Often, if they settle their cases against the government before trial, the government pays a respectable amount to the plaintiffs or withdraws other prosecution against the plaintiffs, or agrees to take further actions to prevent future civil liberties violations. But even in settlements, the ACLU's attorneys' fees are paid by the government. This is the way the ACLU receives governmental funding. Unlike NGO's like Planned Parenthood, the ACLU does not receive legislatively-determined governmental funds.

I remember when President Trump said...he was ready to be sued and then win...and then to be sued...and then win....President Trump knew that the court system.... as operated by democrat judges... would try and stop him...he said..."they'll sue and then WE win"...here's another case...the democrats will sue and then WE'll win...a little time consuming ...but let's always follow the letter of the law because WE are Americans.....
