The Democratic Socialist Party

Woe to the Democrat Party. The once unified Democrat Party has fractured. They lost the 2024 election by a landslide. They even lost the popular vote, only the second time since 1988. The majority of men have taken their vote to the Republican Party. Hispanics now vote GOP, and Blacks?...they have split wide open, no longer a reliable Dem vote. Of the 14 states that do not require voter ID, Harris won 12 of them. Trump lost Colorado, but they say they require ID but don't require a photo ID. Pretty thin accomplishment.

Comments:

When I was little many spouted that the GOP was for the High Hat and the dims were for the working man. Times change.

They did not lose in a landslide and I wish the republicans would quit pushing that lie. In terms of the popular vote, it was just over half. A landslide would be 75 or 80%. I know they say if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth, but I'm not buying it. Nearly half the country cast their ballots for the communists. Just winning is not a landslide no matter how much they want it to be.

"The once unified Democrat Party has fractured." I am not surprised. It was a case of When, not If. Consider all the extremists that comprise the 'Rat party..... They have the Sex Perverts and the Muzzies (who would happily murder the sex perverts if they could) to start with. The 'Gays for Palestine' groups seems particularly ignorant of reality. Then you have the radical feminists -who SAY they are for 'Front Hole' (remember THAT term?) people, and then you have the Trannies-in-female-sports groups. It would seem these groups would be polar opposites. You have the 'Mandatory Vaccines' crowd -the "We know what's good for You, More than You Do", (and we are going to FORCE you to take the Clot Shot) crowd, but then you have the "My Body, My Choice" crowd, (to say nothing of the illegal drug users) who would seem to be polar opposites. You also have the Communists -of course they call themselves "Socialists" or "Progressives" (who can be against Progress, right?) Totalitarians all, then you have the Antifa Anarchists. All these unhappy and seemingly opposing groups in the same political Party, despite the whole gamut of extremist views. The Democ'RAT Party is the Party of the Malcontents, people who are permanently Unhappy. The ONLY thing that unites them is their common Hatred for Traditional American culture, and it's traditional values of Freedom and Limited Government.

Ty #3! Everytime one of these articles say Trump won in a landslide, but sorry, I'm not seeing it. Flip Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Arizona and we would be calling Kamela Harris President. It was a nice win, but not a landslide. Things are much closer and it's important to be realistic about that.

I understand that "landslide election victory" is an exaggeration. However, from the point of view of recent history, Trump winning the electoral vote AND the popular vote is either a "landslide" or a "miracle." LOL The dems hurt their future chances considerably when they forced Bidet on the country. They hurt themselves worse when they tried to shove Kamala Harris on us.

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt if it is “worthwhile” for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to consider holding denaturalization proceedings against New York City’s Democratic presumptive mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani. Republican Tennessee Rep. Andy Ogles requested that the DOJ investigate whether Mamdani should be subject to denaturalization proceedings over a rap song where he allegedly expressed support for individuals convicted of terrorism-related crimes and for his refusal to condemn the phrase, “globalize the intifada.”

In a 6-3 ruling, the majority found that lower courts exceeded their authority by issuing a nationwide block on President Donald Trump’s birthright citizenship restrictions. “The injunctions before us today reflect a more recent development: district courts asserting the power to prohibit enforcement of a law or policy against anyone,”

On his first day in office — of his second term, not his wasted first term — President Trump signed an executive order ending anchor babies, the practice of treating kids born to illegals on U.S. soil as full-fledged citizens. (Apparently, our Founding Fathers wanted to ensure that poverty-stricken third-worlders who force their way into our country would never have to leave.) Three federal district court judges promptly issued (you’ll never guess) nationwide injunctions blocking Trump’s order. The Supreme Court is expected to rule on those injunctions any day now. It may be that the anchor baby lunacy is . . .

After days of publicly mulling whether to join Israel in its military campaign against Iran, President Trump directed the U.S. military on Saturday to execute a complex attack on three of the nation’s nuclear sites with several American warplanes and submarines. Hours later, Mr. Trump declared the mission a “spectacular military success,” saying during a national address from the White House that U.S. forces had “completely and totally obliterated,” Iran’s nuclear program. “There’s no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight, not even close,” he said, standing in front of Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Mamdani claimed that his soak-the-rich proposal was “not driven by race” — despite his campaign platform explicitly targeting white homeowners. “That is just a description of what we see right now. It’s not driven by race. It’s more of an assessment of what neighborhoods are being under-taxed versus over-taxed,” Mamdani told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

Intercepted Iranian communications downplayed the extent of damage caused by US strikes on Iran's nuclear program, the Washington Post reported on Sunday, citing four people familiar with classified intelligence circulating within the US government. A source, who declined to be named, confirmed that account to Reuters but said there were serious questions about whether the Iranian officials were being truthful, and described the intercepts as unreliable indicators. The report by the Post is the latest, however, to raise questions about the extent of the damage to Iran's nuclear program. A leaked preliminary assessment from the Defense Intelligence Agency cautioned the strikes may have only set back Iran by months.

Iran's top Shiite cleric issued a religious decree against President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Sunday, an act some experts called an incitement to terrorism. The fatwa from Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi called on Muslims around the world to take a stand, according to the New York Sun. It states that any individual or government that challenges or endangers the leadership and unity of the global Islamic community (the Ummah) is to be regarded as a "warlord" or a "mohareb," defined as someone who wages war against God. Under Iranian law, those identified as mohareb can face execution, crucifixion, limb amputation, or exile.

Now, with Mamdani on the rise, the city is bracing for a potential “exodus of billionaires” and a chilling effect on investment and economic growth.

The opinion seemed to fan the flames of “democracy is dying” claims of protesters, suggesting that basic limits on injunctive relief could result in the collapse of our core institutions. It was a hyperventilated opinion better suited to a cable program than a Court opinion. The response from Justice Amy Coney Barrett was a virtual pile driver of a rebuke. The actual voting took hours and the measure only passed after three Republican holdouts — Sens. Mike Lee of Utah, Rick Scott of Florida and Cynthia Lummus of Wyoming — folded and voted yes.

Donald Trump has a knack for making the so-called experts look foolish, and nowhere is that more apparent than in the ongoing debate over tariffs. The political and economic elite have ridiculed Trump’s approach, insisting that his tough stance on trade would backfire, cause a recession and cripple the U.S. economy. Yet despite all the apocalyptic predictions, the economy hasn’t gone south, and predictions of a looming recession have been quietly walked back. Recently, a prominent anti-Trump economist admitted what many on the right have been saying from the beginning: Trump’s tariff strategy wasn’t the reckless gamble the media made it out to be.
