Some Experts Think Iran Was Close to a
Nuclear Bomb

Original Article

As if things weren't tense enough already, some experts think that Iran may have been closer to assembling at least a primitive nuclear warhead than previously thought. That is, to put it mildly, disconcerting. Israel's recent attacks on Iran have been mostly aimed at destroying Iran's nuclear program along with un-aliving their senior military leaders, and if Israel had such intelligence, that may have led to the decision to attack.[snip] We should note that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, speaking on behalf of the U.S. intelligence community, is more skeptical.

Comments:

I had rather be safe than sorry, especially if I were living in Israel.

They were close to higher grade Uranium but a real bomb was months away. Better to stop them too early than too late.

This "they're close to a nuke" gets to me. We developed the first nuclear bomb with the Manhattan project with a near-zero historical data, none of the computing and information sharing abilities that even you and I have in our fingertips in a few years. I'm thinking the Iranian scientific community can figure this one out ... yeah, getting some of the "stuff" you need might be an issue. It's not like you go down to The Nuke Depot and grab a shopping cart. But even many of their allies, Russia, China, Pakistan, North Korea, have the knowledge base and the supplies to do the job. Heck, I'm surprised that North Korea didn't sell them a bomb for hard currency. If I were a Mullah, that's the way I would have gone.

Hopefully, Lil' Kim was smart enough not to sell Iran a bomb. Our first strike would have been Tehran, the second would have been Pyonyang.

An aviation expert believes the co-pilot on Air India flight AI171 pulled the plane's wing flaps instead of retracting the landing gear, causing the plane to crash. Commercial airline pilot and YouTuber Captain Steve, who analyzes plane crashes and close calls, gave his theory on the incident which killed 241 people on board. The London-bound 787 Dreamliner began losing height moments after take-off and crashed in a fireball over a residential area in the Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Israel’s military headquarters may have been struck after Iran’s Islamic Republic unleashed a barrage of missiles on central Tel Aviv late Friday night. Alarming footage shared on social media — and verified by The New York Times — showed a strike slamming into an area that houses several military sites, including the Israel Defense Forces’ main command center. The dramatic clips captured interceptor missiles firing into the sky moments before a blinding flash, a thunderous boom, and the explosion of an incoming warhead.

The Mossad on Friday released stunning and rare video footage of its co-lead role with the air force in Israel's preemptive strike on Iran's ballistic missiles and air defenses. Three videos show the Mossad targeting ballistic missile targets, air defense targets, and general preparations for the attacks (with the agents' faces blurred out.) From the perspective of the videos, it appears the Mossad used drones from inside Iran to attack various targets.[snip] Although far more information has been publicized about the IDF's actions, these videos give readers a rare front seat into what normally are entirely clandestine operations that the Mossad does not even admit to.

Louisiana doesn’t do everything right. Senator Bill Cassidy remaining in office is a clear depiction of that. In light of the insane protests we’ve seen from the far left over the past week (the same far left that has been fighting to keep illegal aliens from deportation), the Louisiana Freedom Caucus sent out a strong reminder to citizens of the state—essentially reminding them that if they feel threatened by protestors while in their car, they can legally run them over.
