The Blatant Lie of Germany’s Elite

Germany’s self-proclaimed democracy defenders are at it again: blocking a law-abiding party from exercising its rights—all in the name of protecting democracy. The Alternative for Deutschland (AfD), a pro-free market, anti-EU, anti-mass migration party, placed second in Germany’s recent parliamentary elections, earning nearly 21 percent of the vote to the top vote-getter’s, the Christian Democratic Union’s, 28 percent. The AfD placed well ahead of the once-dominant Social Democratic Party (16 percent) and the Greens (11 percent).

I do not believe the AfD wrote any 1,000 page "secret" dossier. They may have written a position paper, but a 1,000 page one would hardly have been "secret". Trump should put a 100% tariff on Germany, until they allow democrat elections.

What is being done to AfD today will be tried against MAGA tomorrow - if it hasn’t already. Unless we the People are wary. Trump won’t be around forever.

A good example of why we dont have more than 2 relevent parties. We can only have 49% unhappy voters. With many parties there could be 70-75% unhappy voters.

The say that the "demise" of Germany can be traced to Angela Merkel and her policy of welcoming "migrants" into the country.

The AfD's popularity continues to grow at the expense of the other parties of the elites. Will be interesting to see what happens when the AfD wins an outright majority... which could come as soon as the next election...

No #6. It was both the unification of Germany and the creation of the EU that doomed Germany and the rest of Europe.

My Dad was a USMC Staff Sergeant who volunteered right after the Pearl Harbor attack. He wound up on Kwajalein as an ordinanceman working on Corsairs. I remember him saying -although he was in the other theatre- that "During the War we were completely screwed up. The only reason we won was that the Germans were more screwed up than we were." In the 1990's, an oceanography professor friend of mine had a graduate student who came over from Emden Germany to study, and the German guy and I immediately became fast friends. I recall him saying that in German politics, they had something like seven or eight different parties, from conservative all the way over to hard-Left. It sounded like a mess to me.

Marco Rubio declares war on the global censors 7 replies

Winston Churchill once warned that “appeasement is feeding the crocodile, hoping he will eat you last.” When it comes to the crocodile of censorship, history is strewn with defenders who later became digestives. Censorship produces an insatiable appetite for greater and greater speech limits, and today’s censorship supporters often become tomorrow’s censored subjects. This week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stopped feeding the crocodile. On May 28, 2025, Rubio shocked many of our allies by issuing a new visa restriction policy that bars foreign nationals deemed “responsible for censorship of protected expression” in the U.S. The new policy follows a major address by Vice President J.D. Vance in Munich

The left is in its usual sanctimonious but schizophrenic mood. The media claims daily that the Trump administration has usurped power. It is supposedly destroying democracy. It tramples on the rule of law and thus has created a virtual dictatorship. Yet at the same time, Democrats high-five the most recent district court judge who has put a stop to the current Trump executive orders—which the Trump administration abides by as it files appeals. There are two clear conclusions from the flurry of the lower-court liberal justices’ orders: 1) Trump has obeyed their record number of interventions as the appeals go forward; and 2) rarely in the history of the republic

Buried within the 1,100-page bill recently passed by the House of Representatives—the "One Big, Beautiful Bill" that reflects President Trump's priorities—are several provisions that, if enacted into law, could return the U.S. energy sector to a more capitalistic model. President Joe Biden, with strong backing from environmental lobbyists and a last-minute defection from West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, pushed through the Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Bill. These measures allocated billions of dollars in federal credits and loan guarantees to favored industries, all under the banner of environmental protection.

This week, the Supreme Court continued to deliberate over what to do with the growing number of national or universal injunctions issued by federal district courts against the Trump Administration. The court has long failed to address the problem, and what I call “chronic injunctivitis” is now raging across the court system. Justices have only worsened the condition with conflicting and at times incomprehensible opinions. Both Democratic and Republican presidents have long argued that federal judges are out of control in issuing national injunctions that freeze the entire executive branch for years on a given policy. For presidents, you have to effectively sweep the district courts 677-to-0

On Monday, we celebrate Memorial Day, the civic holy day we set aside each year to commemorate those who died fighting our wars. It is a day for somber reflection of the sacrifice — more than 1 million service members — that has been made over the course of our nation’s history. This commemoration began on June 3, 1861, when the then recently dug grave of John Quincy Marr, a captain in the Virginia militia and the first combat fatality in the Civil War, was decorated in Warrenton, Virginia. Marr had been killed two days earlier at the Battle of Fairfax Courthouse. The practice of decorating the graves of their honored

Democrats actively oppose the Trump administration’s efforts to arrest and deport illegal immigrants, despite the administration’s focus on those with criminal histories. To support their opposition, Democrats frequently claim, almost as an article of faith, that illegal immigrants are less prone to commit crime. “The crime rate among immigrants is far lower than the crime rate among native-born Americans,” New York Rep. Jerrold Nadler asserted confidently. “So the whole issue is wrong.” “Immigrants commit crimes in this country at a rate lower than natural-born citizens,” added Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy. “So, if you want a safe town or a safe neighborhood, you are better off if you have immigrants.”

The US President said he expected the missile shield to be ready by the end of his second term in 2029.

As the anatomy of the great Joe Biden cover-up emerges, one dark figure stands menacingly taller than the rest. That would be Vogue cover girl Dr. Jill Biden, who is starting to look more like Dr. Evil — a cartoonishly terrible, power-hungry and reckless movie villain — every day. This week, as Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s devastating book “Original Sin” detailing the Dems’ elaborate cover-up of the 46th president’s infirmity as he ran — or, ahem, as he was run — for a second shot at the White House, Biden dropped a bombshell prostate cancer diagnosis.

Those of us who were long convinced that aides were hiding the president’s cognitive decline weren’t cynical enough. We also needed to believe they were hiding other serious ailments, such as prostate cancer. Hmm, what else didn’t we suspect that we should have? Whatever it is, the odds are soaring that we are going to find out.

The vandalism happened late Saturday and was discovered Wednesday at the WE Upjohn Peony Garden in the Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum. The University of Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security said officers found that about 250 peony plants of the garden's roughly 800 peony plants had most of their flowers appear to have been intentionally cut and left behind on the ground, with the scene surprising both garden staff and visitors. University police say no group has been identified or taken credit for the vandalism, but

There are few doubts in the White House about Jill “Lady Macbeth” Biden’s role in covering up her husband’s cognitive deficits as she urged him to run for re-election. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt made that point crystal clear from the press room podium Thursday, saying the former first lady “needs to answer” for “lying to the American people” and “shielding her husband away from the cameras.” For the normally circumspect Leavitt, it was a damning indictment. “I think, frankly, the former first lady should certainly speak up about what she saw in regards to her husband and when she saw and what she knew,” she told reporters at

First the cliff notes version: There’s an important detail to remember. People are laughing at the long-range Russian bombers being left out in the open, vulnerable to attack. However, the bomber visibility is required as part of several nuclear agreements between the USA and Russia (SALT and START). Our U.S. long range nuclear capable bombers, covered under the same agreements, are also visible. Ukraine President Zelenskyy is playing with fire by targeting them, which also explains why Zelenskyy never told President Trump in advance. The U.S and NATO have provided the means. However, #1) did Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy just exploit a vulnerability by targeting Russian long-range nuclear capable bombers?

Jamie Raskin (D) is apparently taking that message to heart and is using Sunday’s tragic terror attack in Boulder, Colorado by a deranged antisemite against marchers from the American Jewish group "Run for Their Lives" to push for an agenda that has nothing to do with the assault: gun control. If only we could get rid of those dreaded "military style assault weapons," attacks like this wouldn't happen. The problem with his mind-boggling assessment? No guns were used in the attack.

Still, the win was marred by controversy because the Algerian had been disqualified from competing as a female in 2022 and 2023 by the International Boxing Association (IBA) due to concerns about the validity of Khelif’s gender tests.
