"Dilbert" comic strip creator and author Scott Adams shared heartbreaking news about being diagnosed with the same prostate cancer as former President Joe Biden, explaining that he is only expected to live until maybe "this summer."
Speaking on his "Real Coffee with Scott Adams" podcast, the legendary cartoonist said that he has been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. It is the same aggressive form of prostate cancer that former President Joe Biden's team announced on Sunday that Biden was diagnosed with.
"Some of you have already guessed, so this won't surprise you at all," Adams said. "But I have the same cancer that Joe Biden has.

The big difference is that if we lose Scott Adams, it will be a loss to the country.

Adams must enjoy every minute that is left of his mortal life. I have enjoyed his cartooning. And I managed to laugh at his cartoon strips on workdays when I was under high stress during my corporate years.
As for me, my dad stroked in 1998 at age of 72 while he had prostate cancer. I am 72. My mother died in 2019 from dementia. So did her brother. So did her sister, but from Alzheimer's. So did my grandfather, mother's side. I'd like to think I am not a sitting duck at age 72, but I may be. People wonder why I go to the gym seven days each week to try not going the same way. The power of positive thinking and keeping the noodle moving right along. I feel great and wonderful.
God Speed, Scott.

The good news Scott is you will be in Heaven, while Joey Briben will be swimming in the sewer in Hades with Lucifer!

All of our sympathies should go to Scott Adams. Waste nothing on biden, even though he's clueless and was never running things. He has been an evil man as long as he's been in government office; he's sown every bit of this whirlwind he's reaping.

I doubt it #3. He has probably had it for years. But once it metastasizes to the bone, your days are numbered. Just because he made the choice to not share his struggle with rank strangers and become "that guy with cancer" before now doesn't mean he hasn't done everything possible to stop and slow the progression.
Mr Adams, I will pray for you. I will pray that your pain will be lessened and your passing with be eased. Know you leave this world having made a difference for the good.. not everyone can say that.

Sorry to hear this.
There are some people whom I wish would die after I do.
Scott Adams is such a person.
And Dodge Boy, please stay with your gym workouts.
I do the same thing and I plan to continue doing so.
There is a lot of cancer in my family.
Hoping the workouts will help stave off the inevitable for a bit longer.

As you age it is vital that you begin to see a doctor on an annual basis. I went 45 years between visits and found I had a high PSA reading. Turned out it was cancer. Still early which allowed for monitoring and ultimately remediation.

Truly sad, sad news for the man and for the nation. Scott Adams is a true American hero who chronicaled the "tragic comedy" that is Corporate America.
When I got my first "real job" after University as a fledgling Engineer with a large corporation, Dilbert became my and fellow Engineers' way of laughing at the very dumb things that actually occurred in the workplace. It was a way for us to figuratively "burn in effigy" Corpocracy's nincompoopery without earning "notes" in our "HR File." I remember thinking to myself how this guy struck a goldmine for material with his cartoon strip, and that he'd never run out of new material with every "great new thing!" that came out of the "Business Schools-Management Consulting Companies Industrial Complex."
When we found out Adams was actually a sub-contract software Engineer in the Bay area, it made perfect sense how he could be so in-touch with "our world" to hit the nail's head each and every time. I especially loved reading Adams' adventures of "Dogbert, Evil HR Director," as it was so spot-on. I too witnessed how American corporations were never the same ever since HR was elevated to "Executive VP" status and given much sway in corporate decisions (layoffs), but having no accountability for revenue-loss.
Scott Adams you were a hero and mentor to you fellow Engineers, and to many more in other walks of life. I pray that you take a special comfort from the many laughs you elicited from millions of your fans over the years through your acerbic comedic cartooning talent. Best wishes in your medical journey.

So sorry to hear this. Scott is a real treasure. I have a PSA test done at least twice a year and I urge every man to do the same. The last time it was checked, mine was elevated so I am going back for another check and the ole "digital exam".

As stated in the article, Mr. Adams has a podcast called "Real Coffee with Scott Adams" which is great. He discusses news headlines of the day. I was listening to it when he made the announcement about his cancer. Very calm, and just matter of fact. He stated bluntly he expects to pass on sometime this summer.
