DEI Is Disappearing in Hollywood. Was
It Ever Really Here?

Original Article

If Hollywood’s answer to Donald Trump’s first months at the White House in 2017 was resistance, the 2025 edition so far appears more muted and a tad indifferent. The Academy Awards eight years ago celebrated diversity as Trump implemented his “America First” vision for the country that thrusted actors and other talent onto the frontlines of the culture wars. Warren Beatty invoked politics in his presentation of the best picture nominees, observing that those movies, of which Barry Jenkins’ Moonlight emerged as the winner, “show us the increasing diversity in our community, and our respect for diversity and freedom all over the world.”

"Was it ever really here?" LOL! Has this person even watched TV in the last few years? 75-80% of all actors in commercials are black. Another chunk are Hispanic. It's an unusual commercial with any white actors, let alone all white actors. six years ago or so, my bet is that it was 80% white, and about 20% black and Hispanic. No more. I have to laugh at the black actors and actresses in fairly odd roles, like insurance agents and stock brokers, etc. I am absolutely certain that such people must exist somewhere, but I've never met one in the last 65 years of adulthood. But they are everywhere in Hollywierd Commercial Land. And look at the movies getting awards.....ridiculous crap, DEI driven. The Hollywierd Reporter is totally delusional.

Look at the article through the DEI progressive lens of "too much is never enough." The headline could just as well mean DEI was "disappeared" before it achieved their desired singularity. It's a lament.

One can hardly see a TV show or movie that doesn't have LBTQ perversion onscreen. Hayell yes!, DEI runs rampant in Hollywood - and child molestation, sexual assaults - name your evil. It is there in bucketfulls.

Was It Ever Really Here? Let's see.... -The recent 'Best Picture' winner, 'Anora', is a reasonably obscure film - I never heard of it, but I read the 'Wiki' article describing it..... as best I can tell, the main purpose of the film is to normalize prostitution. -Along the lines of #1's comment, It seems like all the TV commercials with a couple are mixed race, pretty much ALWAYS a black guy and a blonde Caucasian woman, although mixed race couples are fairly rare in American society. -The new Captain America is a black guy. -The new Jesus in the upcoming Jesus Christ Superstar movie is a black lesbian. How about casting a middle eastern GUY, for historical accuracy?..... and write him as having decent morals, instead of deliberately insulting every Christian by casting a Pervert. Was (DEI) ever really here? I reply: Is there any NORMAL DECENCY left in HollyWeird?

#1 explains it very well for us. All black all the time does not even come close to reality. Mixed race couples are just in-your-face propaganda.

Has DEI REALLY disappeared from Hollywood? The movies haven't reflected it yet. The commercials still look the same. The TV shows show no sign of DEI disappearance. Businesses may have fired their DEI people, but DEI is still there. They just call it Human Resources.

President Donald Trump is ushering in a new age of peace, stability and cooperation in the region, according to Hassan bin Youssef Yassin, a senior Saudi diplomat and advisor to King Salman bin Abdulaziz, who expressed strong support for the President’s efforts to create a “new world order” based on coexistence and cooperation, as he urged Arab nations to back his initiative as they did in the past. In an article published Tuesday in Arab News, Yassin argues that President Trump’s shift to diplomacy — particularly with global powers — offers an opportunity to resolve long-standing conflicts, including the Arab-Israeli dispute.

Hackman's death was from "hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, with Alzheimer's disease as a significant contributory factor," Dr. Heather Jarrell, chief medical investigator for the state's Office of the Medical Investigator, announced at a news conference.

Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Laura Gillen (D-NY) appear to be among the very few in their party to criticize the behavior of Democrats during President Donald Trump’s Tuesday evening joint address before Congress, stating that they stood up for young cancer fighter DJ Daniel when others did not. In an anecdote shared to X on Thursday, Khanna began by recounting what a flight attendant told him while he was traveling this week: “Jim Barrett, a flight attendant, politely chased me down at Chicago Airport,” the congressman wrote. “‘Sir, I am a Democrat but the way the party behaved was embarrassing. The public does not like President Donald Trump’s plan to sell “Gold Card” citizenships to wealthy foreigners, according to a Rasmussen poll. The Gold Card plan is strongly supported by only 22 percent of likely voters, including just 38 percent of Republicans, according to the February 27 to March 3 poll of 1,180 likely voters. The plan to sell Gold Cards for $5 million is strongly opposed by 33 percent of all respondents, including 36 percent of “moderates.” Overall, the plan is strongly or somewhat backed by 41 percent and opposed by a plurality of 47 percent. With the Trump administration and Congress focused on cutting waste, fraud, and abuse from the federal budget, there’s an effort underway to make sure public broadcasting ended up under the microscope. The notion that public broadcasting would be held to any form of accountability, including the possibility they broke federal law, was apparently beyond the pale for former Washington Post executive editor Marty Baron, who vented to CNN International’s Christiane Amanpour on Wednesday. “And Trump is working in a very determined way to try to undermine the press in every conceivable way that he can. ActBlue, the leading fundraising platform for Democrats, is in disarray after at least seven senior officials resigned and a company lawyer alleged that the platform had retaliated against him, the New York Times reported. The exodus comes as congressional Republicans investigate ActBlue's security and fraud-prevention measures, including to what degree it works to block illegal foreign donations. Among those who have left are longtime ActBlue officials, such as the associate general counsel and chief revenue officer, though the exact reasons for their departures remain unclear, according to the Times. Democrats stepped in it big time with their behavior at President Donald Trump's Joint Address to Congress. They had been warned by House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (NY) not to make a spectacle of themselves, to make a "strong, determined and dignified Democratic presence in the chamber." But instead, they made fools of themselves not just holding up the silly bingo signs, but creating a ruckus, with Rep. Al Green (D-TX) waving around his cane and getting booted out. Some of them also walked out during the speech and then play-acted about how tough they were after. Now, there's more evidence the Democrats are in disarray.

Newsom then suggested that there needs to be a way to balance fairness with the mental health of these young men, otherwise they might “commit suicide.” “There’s also a humility and a grace.
