Border czar Tom Homan said Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “The Will Cain Show” that deportation operations have begun in sanctuary cities.
Cain said, “But, on the other hand, Tom, in order to enforce this bill or any other ICE or Border Patrol measures, you’re going to have to deal with sanctuary cities, cities like Chicago. What are you going to do with sanctuary cities?”
Homan said, “Well, President Trump’s going to take action on them and like he did the last administration, we got to remove federal funding from them. Why are we giving them SCAT funding and other law enforcement funding when we’re not performing the law enforcement

The Trump administration wants four 10,000-bed detention centers to hold illegals as they are processed for repatriation to their home countries.
The planned new facilities would more than double the current holding capacity among the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s 14 current sites.
The plans were revealed in a selection of Customs and Border Protection documents reviewed by the Washington Post.
The costs of this expansion would likely be in the billions, funds that are currently not in CBP budgets. The funds needed would have to be provided by an act of Congress.

I like this - I like this a LOT.
NO MORE MALARKEY
Pete Hegseth has done everything required of him, done it with aplomb and dignity.
Not a soul was fooled nor mollified into caving 'Oh, well, we got one' by the polite 'unanimous vote for Marco' in the tailpipe trick.
Some of John Thune's threats must be beginning to work because the Senate got over their Ratcliffe procedural hissy fits...
...Senate Democrats slowed Ratcliffe's confirmation after his nomination advanced out of committee earlier this week, forcing procedural maneuvers to extend consideration of his nomination in recent days.

You may or may not know the name "Brent Bozell," but surely you know his work as the founder and president of the Media Research Center.
They are the guys who have worked the longest and accomplished the most to expose the Left-wing bias of the Pravda Media. Back when the only thing we could do was b* about how biased the media was, Brent went to work documenting and exposing it. No doubt you have seen tens or hundreds of MRC clips online exposing the idiocy of the Pravda propagandists. I have used those videos countless times over the years.

Get out the popcorn. President Donald Trump delivered a virtual address to the Communist, globalist World Economic Forum (WEF), and it was a masterful condemnation of the worst ideology of WEF, as well as a view of a prosperous future without globalists in charge.
Trump touched on a wide range of topics in his speech, including climate alarmism, gas/oil, artificial intelligence, the Ukraine-Russia war, biased debanking, deregulation, tariffs, OPEC, crypto, China, online censorship, and foreign aid. But no matter what he was talking about, his message was strongly America First,

One of the things that makes Vice President JD Vance so interesting is that he hasn't been a career politician, coming up from a tough situation to achieve so much by his own perseverance.
He showed that newness -- and wonder -- as he was introduced to the Oval Office for the first time. Only in America can a hardworking young man from Appalachia rise from his humble circumstances to enter the Oval for first time as VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. What a country! The family also had a great time at the inauguration, with his wife Usha looking at JD like every spouse would hope

As I've watched President Donald Trump's incredible energy over the last three days and the number of issues he pledged to accomplish, a thought has run through my head several times: This must all feel like death by 1,000 cuts to the Democrat Party and left as a whole.
At least those who are rational enough to see it.
As some on our side have said, Trump accomplished more in the first 48 hours of his second term than former President Joe Biden accomplished during four years of his miserably failed presidency. Now, an unlikely admirer of Trump's fast start, former Biden pollster and top Democrat Party strategist Celinda Lake

SEATTLE — A federal district court judge on Thursday temporarily blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order aimed at limiting birthright citizenship — the first skirmish in what promises to be a protracted legal battle over the new administration’s agenda.
Senior U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour heard 25 minutes of arguments and then issued an order from the bench blocking the policy from taking effect for 14 days. There will be a further briefing on a preliminary injunction to permanently block the executive order while the case proceeds. "I’ve been on the bench for over four decades," Coughenour, a Ronald Reagan appointee, said. "I can’t remember another case

Refugees who were slated to travel to the United States after a years-long and often cumbersome process have had their flights canceled, according to a State Department memo to resettlement partners obtained by CNN.
The memo comes on the heels of President Donald Trump’s executive order suspending refugee admissions and marks another example of the swift impact his actions are already having. The move stands to affect thousands of refugees who had flights already scheduled.
“All previously scheduled travel of refugees to the United States is being cancelled, and no new travel bookings will be made. RSCs should not request travel for any additional refugee cases at this time,

President Donald Trump issued an executive order initiating a process to redesignate the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels as a foreign terrorist organization on Wednesday, returning the group to the same status it held at the end of his first administration.
"This order sets in motion a process by which Ansar Allah, also known as the Houthis, shall be considered for designation as a Foreign Terrorist Organization," the executive order said, noting that the group has "fired at U.S. Navy warships dozens of times since 2023, endangering American men and women in uniform," and attacked more than 100 commercial ships, killing four civilian sailors.

RedState’s Teri Christoph reported back in November that Donald Trump was leaning toward naming Sean Curran as his Secret Service director, and on Wednesday, the president made it official with a social media post and an email from the White House Office of Communications. Curran was depicted in iconic photos that will go down in history when he helped Trump stand up and shielded him in July after an assassin’s bullet missed taking the then-candidate’s life by millimeters. Curran is on the right of the bleeding Trump in the photo. Here’s a different angle: n the official email and a Truth Social post, Team Trump lauded Curran’s bravery and leadership:

WASHINGTON — The Republican-led House on Wednesday passed the Laken Riley Act, a strict immigration detention measure named for a 22-year-old Georgia nursing school student who was murdered last year by an undocumented immigrant.
The legislation, aimed at clamping down on people in the U.S. illegally who commit nonviolent crimes like theft, is expected to be the first bill President Donald Trump signs into law after returning to the White House this week.
The House vote was 263-156, with 46 Democrats joining all Republicans in support of the measure. The bill passed the Senate on Monday by a vote of 64-35, winning 12 Democratic votes.
