Former President Jimmy Carter, who died on December 29, 2024, at age 100, was laid to rest today. Yet, the state funeral at Washington National Cathedral would be one chock full of awkward moments. All former presidents would be in attendance. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were there. In short, it was a high-drama event where most of the VIPs hated each other. Barack Obama didn’t even shake Donald Trump’s hand

From the article: "The Clintons ignored Bush, Obama, and Trump. Kamala Harris looked as if her head was going to explode seeing Trump and Obama sitting together. Michelle Obama decided to skip the funeral altogether, opting to remain in Hawaii on vacation." Apparently, the husband of Kamala "HeelsUpOpenBorderCzar" Harris was there.... Real Housewives reunion, indeed. As Vespa observed, there was no love lost among the participants, hilarious to observe. If the decedent in the ceremony was really a Christian, a Baptist, why was "Imagine" performed? That song is about anything but salvation; it's about communism, and was the worst song Lennon ever wrote.

I understand that every president basically designs their own funeral around the protocol already in place. However, knowing what Obozo and Biteme have done while in office as well as out of office, the prospect of all this military pomp and circumstance for these POS would be a slap in the face of every tax paying patriotic American.

I watched the video and don't see any drama at all. Some people stood up and shook hands, some didn't. Not everyone was in proximity enough to shake Trump's hand. Bush tapped Obama in the stomach as a greeting as Obama stood up so Bush could walk past him. Nothing looked unnatural or out of the ordinary for this type of event. What woudl the author have to say if they all stood in the aisle, huddled up in a gaggle and glad-handed?? This is made-up drama at best.

#3, EXACTLY. In fact, I emailed my pastor a little while ago. He did a series on Heaven a few years ago and talked about this song. I used to like the melody. No more. And after hearing the Scripture read at the funeral and to end with these lyrics was theology-jolting.

Seeing them all sitting there…I wondered how many of them gave a thought to their own mortality, and where they might be spending eternity. None of us ever know when our life on this earth may end. But their years are showing, and the end draws ever nearer. God is a just and righteous God. He grants freedom of choice to each one of us. He doesn’t show favoritism. He holds everyone to the same set of standards. We choose our destination by our choices. Should be a sobering thought.

Well, at least President Clinton didn't have to refuse to speak to President Carter as he has so often in the past. (President Carter dumped a bunch of refugees on then Governor Clinton after promising not to and helped cost him an election. Clinton despised him for it.)

I watched some of the funeral and heard speeches by Gerald Ford's son and Mondale's son. The cameras kept showing all of the presidents and their spouses. One thing I did notice was Slick Willie was holding his program, and his hands were shaking a long time until he finally got a grip. There's something wrong with him. I also thought about each one and wondered if they were thinking about what would be said at their funerals and how would the other ex-presidents act. One thing for sure, it's an exclusive group, not many people can say they've been president of the USA. Our presidents have not always been the best citizens of the world. Hello, Clinton, Obama, and Biden.

In January 2025, wildfires devastated Los Angeles County. While not every detail is yet known – and some details will likely never be known – these fires have destroyed entire communities, burned thousands of houses, schools, churches and businesses, killed and injured people and pets. The losses in physical structure can be counted; the losses in dollar value can only be guessed at. Property insurance figures estimate the value of a building, but the residents can never accurately estimate – and insure for – all the contents within.

With the California fires, consumer advocates have redoubled their atacks on the "greedy" insurance companies. California congressman John Garamende said from his eight-year experience as insurance commissioner that the insurance companies will "'lowball' and deny claims." Carmen Balber, executive director of Consumer Watchdog, adds that home insurers in California are more profitable than the nationwide average (I guess Balber thinks insurance companies in California make too much money). Even Kamala Harris chimed in: "Many insurance companies have canceled insurance for a lot of the families

Did California Gov. Gavin Newsom understand that the optics when making this statement were atrocious? The state's political leadership is at fault for the fiasco in Los Angeles County, where wildfires are raging. Over 30,000 acres have been torched, 1,000 buildings destroyed, at least five lives lost, and none of these blazes are contained. A fire erupted on Hollywood Hills last night, placing the heart of Los Angeles in harm’s way.

The Left’s high priestess of political drama has spoken again. Her recent diatribe regarding all things January 6 is a master class in projection, denial, lack of self-awareness, and gaslighting. Let’s go to the tape: So, today, January 6, the certification of the last presidential election happened in Washington, and it just happened ministerially and ceremonially, like it's supposed to. Thanks to Donald Trump’s revolutionary campaign strategy of near-exclusive focus on internet media, Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, and self-immolation, the dominant ninety-year run of the self-styled “mainstream media” ended with the 2024 presidential election, alongside its legacy of being the cheerleaders and propaganda arm of the American Left and an increasingly radicalized Democrat Party. The mainstream media can trace its beginning to Franklin Roosevelt. It was given birth with the passage of the Communications Act of 1934 and the creation of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)

“A high-stakes docu-thriller” is a P.R. caption for the ironically named Jenner Furst documentary, Thank You, Dr. Fauci. No Thanks, Dr. Fauci or Goodbye, Doc would be a more straightforward title. After all, if a large number of the right people were to view the film, it would change Anthony Fauci’s public reputation from the courageous voice of science to a mendacious bureaucrat whose reckless obsession with genetically altered vaccines paved the way for a devastating pandemic. But as Furst implies, the likelihood of that reversal of fortune is slim, since the same tech, pharma, and political powers that successfully squashed the truth

The Biden administration, whoever is running it, is illegitimate. The 2020 election was stolen, rigged to defeat Trump by any means necessary. Many means were employed, all illegal, all unconstitutional. The truth is coming out, bit by bit. We should know by now that the left could not care less about the Constitution; they hate the limits it imposes on government, so they ignore the Bill of Rights and most of the Articles. These past post-Constitutional four years have been a disaster by any measure, from the open border to the third world and China to the imposition of woke on our military.

With the passing of Jimmy Carter at the age of 100, there is a scurry to rewrite the history of our 39th president. According to the popular narrative, Carter faced economic and foreign policy challenges, yet his accomplishments, such as the Camp David Accords, are remembered, as well as his lifelong dedication to humanitarian efforts and winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Carter’s true legacy is quite different. He was a godly man who was unprepared to serve as leader of the world’s superpower. His good — but naïve — intentions too often created disastrous results for our nation.

Jimmy Carter was an awful president. He wasn’t a crook like Joe Biden, but for actual presidential acts, he was perhaps the worst. Certainly, he was the worst ex-president. In office, he did things like give away the Panama Canal, without retaining any control or even minimal security rights. Problems we are still dealing with right now. Not to mention the disastrous China appeasement policy. Wanting to recognize Red China was bad enough. But there was no reason to drop formal relations with Taiwan, the Republic of China. Many countries sent ambassadors to both. But no, Carter was always eager to help out the totalitarians.

Making liberals unhappy shouldn’t be Donald Trump’s only goal for his second inaugural address. But neither should he shy away from telling the truth because it will upset the reigning intelligentsia in the country. The fact is that the Democrats and their allies in the media—which means almost all the media—engaged in a years-long coverup of perhaps the greatest scandal in American history: the incompetence of the president of the United States.
