Christians around the globe celebrate Christmas this week, what they believe to be the miracle of the Incarnation—that God came into this world by being born as a baby, and living a human life on this earth, believing this to be the fulfillment of centuries of prophecy.
Jesus of Nazareth was born around 4 B.C. in Bethlehem, a small town in Israel about five miles south of Jerusalem. Christians believe that he was born to a virgin named Mary. She would likely have been around 13 to 14 years old, and was formally engaged to Joseph, who would have been around age 15 or 17.

It is arguably the most iconic image from the American Revolution. You can find drawings, paintings, and sculptures commemorating its significance in town halls, courthouses, libraries, churches, and veterans’ associations throughout the country. Variations were once commonly displayed in homes, schools, and businesses.
Is it Paul Revere’s historic engraving of the Boston Massacre? Or Emanuel Leutze’s famous Washington Crossing the Delaware? Or perhaps John Trumbull’s The Declaration of Independence? Those are all good answers, but the image of which I write is of George Washington kneeling in silent prayer near the Continental Army’s winter encampment at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, in December 1777.

A gay Georgia couple convicted of sickening sexually abuse of their two adopted sons will spend the rest of the lives behind bars.
William and Zachary Zulock, 34 and 36, were each sentenced last week to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole, the Walton County District Attorney’s office announced.
“These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else,” said District Attorney Randy McGinley, according to WSB-TV.

Someone acting for the president just made a decision that only a president can make and commuted the sentences of 37 of the 40 murderers on federal death row out of a sense of someone's moral imperative.
The Office of the President of the United States of America announced the commutations early Monday morning of Christmas week. A statement issued by the White House said the president was "guided by my conscience" to commute the death penalties for some of the worst of the worst offenders in America.
It begs the question of how consciously Joe Biden does anything these days

HOUSTON, Texas — A Honduran migrant who entered the U.S. as an unaccompanied minor now faces a murder charge in Harris County, Texas. The man was ordered removed from the U.S. by an immigration judge in 2010 after failing to show up for scheduled hearings, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials.
The Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force arrested 33-year-old Alex Mejia-Pineda in Huntsville, Texas, last week on a charge that he participated in the murder of Erik Eduardo Zavala-Flores, 28, according to Fox 26 Houston.
Prosecutors say Mejia-Pineda and co-defendant Alex Herrera Calderon, a 24-year-old U.S. citizen, shot Zavala-Flores in the parking lot of a bar

With former Sen. JD Vance's (R-OH) vice presidential win, a new political figure will have the opportunity to step into the spotlight and represent Ohio in Washington. At the heart of the Christmas story, nestled in the opening verses of two Gospels, lies the birth of Jesus, the long awaited Messiah. These words speak of a King born not in the grand halls of a world capital, but in the squalor of a manger—a place of vulnerability. As the angels proclaimed peace on earth, humanity was presented with the ultimate paradox: the Prince of Peace, born unexpectedly, in the midst of ongoing war and turmoil.
For centuries, the people of Israel had awaited the Messiah. Prophecies spoke of a leader—a descendant of David—who would reign with justice, righteousness, and power, establishing peace and ending war.

The Biden administration quietly rolled out a controversial new program aimed at providing LGBTQ+ education to students, including lessons on gender identity and sexual orientation, without requiring parental consent. The initiative is part of a broader push by the outgoing administration to advance progressive, woke education onto kids and indoctrinate them behind parent’s backs.
According to details of a grant, the Biden Administration handed out millions of dollars to researchers for an experimental program that lets students to participate in a paid 10-week long “intervention” designed to help LGBTQ-identifying kids “cope with the effects of minority stress.”

Larry the Cable Guy tore into Democrat Rep. Rosa DeLauro (CT) following her unhinged rant about House Republicans supposedly being "scared" of Elon Musk.
Let me repeat that. The guy who plays Mater — you know, like "tuh-mater," but without the "tuh" — is trying to break down simple concepts regarding congressional spending to a sitting congresswoman.
(Snip) Larry the Cable Guy, real name Daniel Whitney, often shies away from politics due to the toxicity level of the unhinged on social media but has been openly suggesting on X that both political parties need to break the resolution down into standalone bills.
He furthered that argument by addressing DeLauro's "lunatic behavior."

We’ve been told for four years that inflation will soon stabilize and disappear thanks to Joe Biden’s awesome stewardship of the economy, and yet…
“Wholesale prices for chicken eggs soared by nearly 55% last month, and wholesale food prices rose by 3.1% (their highest monthly increase in two years),” reports far-left CNN.
Ahh, and because a Democrat is in office, we are then immediately told…
Economists say not to panic. The “egg-flation” and sudden price hikes in some major food categories are reflections of isolated incidents rather than something systemic and indicative of a reacceleration of inflation.
Economists always tell us not to worry when a Democrat is president.

California and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) are planning to repeal the 2023 call for a national constitutional convention, given Donald Trump’s recent victory and the possibility of Republicans proposing their own new amendments.
As Breitbart News reported last June, Newsom called for a constitutional convention to propose amendments to limit the Second Amendment, such as setting a minimum age of 21 for gun possession, and universal background checks.
But there were political obstacles, as Breitbart News noted:
[S]ince a two-thirds vote of Congress is generally required to launch the process of amending the Constitution, it is unclear how Newsom intends to begin if, as he says, Congress is responsible for inaction.

Amen. And Merry Christmas to you all!!
