At a time when our enemies believe we are a nation at war with itself, angry with our neighbors, split by partisan divide, burdened by economic woes, and incapable of empathy, there comes a story this holiday season that reminds friend and foe alike who we are. In a Canton, Michigan, plans for the annual holiday performance of The Nutcracker suddenly went off the boards when all the necessary props for the Plymouth-Canton Ballet Company went missing. Thousands of dollars of pieces required to stage the tradition were stolen – from the Christmas tree to the golden backdrop that serves to highlight the ballet's characters.

An inspirational feel good story from Michigan, which incidentally has a large anti-Christian population.

A clear sign there is still hope for New York comes with the news that Bronx Congressman Ritchie Torres, a Democrat, is considering challenging either Mayor Adams next year or Gov. Hochul in 2026. The only pity is that he can’t challenge them both. Run, Ritchie, run! Torres often stands alone or is part of a small group of common-sense Dems in going against the party’s far-left agenda. He refused to join the radical “Squad” in Congress and distinguished himself as an articulate and forceful supporter of Israel. A gay Afro-Puerto Rican raised as a Catholic in Throggs Neck,

Lawyers for President-elect Donald Trump are demanding that New York Attorney General Letitia James drop her civil fraud case against him, his family and his businesses "for the greater good of the country," Fox News Digital has learned. "In furtherance of our conversations with your office, we write to request that you completely dismiss the above-referenced case against President Donald J. Trump, his family, and his businesses, and stipulate to vacate the Judgment and dismiss all claims with prejudice," Trump attorney D. John Sauer wrote in a letter exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital.

If you want to know why big media outlets are struggling so badly, you only need to look at the coverage of this month’s presidential election. Not only were the media perceived by voters as favoring Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris, but they continued to show an erosion in Americans’ overall trust in them as sources of information, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. The November national online poll includes 1,436 adults, with a +/-2.6 percentage point margin of error. Each month, I&I/TIPP asks voters the following questions about the national media: “Generally speaking, how much trust do you have in the traditional or established news media,

Straphangers are no strangers to delays caused by trash fires, but the more insidious scourge is the MTA’s cash fires. The agency has wailed that it’s broke and needs the revenue from “congestion pricing” tolls just to keep the lights on. Baloney: While bad New York laws help explain why the MTA spends more on construction than any other major city, the agency itself keeps burning through taxpayer money on utter idiocy. The latest mind-boggling spend: $252.7 million on 3,000 “Help Point” intercoms in the name of boosting public safety. On Tuesday, the MTA’s inspector general’s office released a damning report on the devices, launched in 2018 across all 472 stations.

Is he the real McCoy? A pair of North Carolina siblings claim their late father is the ever-elusive Boeing hijacker DB Cooper after allegedly finding his parachute hidden in their home, according to a new report. Chanté and Rick McCoy III claim their father, Richard McCoy Jr., was the infamous fugitive who disappeared when he leaped out of a Boeing plane with $200,000 in cash after taking passengers and crew hostage in 1971, the Cowboy State Daily reports. The siblings said they waited until their mother’s death in 2020 to come forward,

Michelle Obama did not receive a warm welcome on social media after touting her self-help workbook Overcoming, which the former first lady hopes will help people “get through the challenging periods life throws our way.” Obama shared a video holding the workbook for the first time, describing it as a “timely” gift or purchase. It remains unclear if she is suggesting it is timely as it comes just weeks after President-elect Donald Trump won the presidential election and will take office again on January 20.

It appears that this is as close as we’ll get to the real Matt Gaetz story: his acquaintance, the former tax collector Joel Greenberg, was caught abusing his office to make fake IDs and concealed weapons permits, which led to the discovery of numerous crimes committed by Greenberg in office, financed with money he embezzled and revolving around prostitution and, apparently, trafficking minors to public figures. Greenberg told Barr’s DOJ he could implicate Gaetz in exchange for leniency, and the present investigation into Gaetz was opened.

Republicans are smelling blood in New Jersey’s gubernatorial race next year following an unexpectedly close result in the presidential election. Vice President Harris only carried the Garden State by about 6 points over President-elect Trump, the closest Republicans have come to winning the state’s electoral votes in three decades. This came after another closer-than-expected result in the gubernatorial race three years ago, during which Gov. Phil Murphy (D) won by just more than 3 points.

One of the FBI’s most wanted suspected terrorists has been nabbed hiding out in the UK after more than 20 years on the run, the feds said Tuesday. Daniel Andreas San Diego, 46, was busted in Wales on Monday in connection with a slew of animal rights-related pipe bomb attacks that unfolded in San Francisco back in 2003, according to authorities. Daniel San Diego’s arrest after more than 20 years as a fugitive for two bombings in the San Francisco area shows that no matter how long it takes, the FBI will find you and hold you accountable,” FBI Director Christopher Wray said in a statement hailing his capture.

I’m pleased to announce that their governments have accepted the United States proposal to end the devastating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah,” Biden, 82, said. Biden said that “this is designed to be a permanent cessation of hostilities.” “What is left of Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations will not be allowed,” Biden said of the Iran-backed terrorist group based in Lebanon.

As reported earlier, Special Counsel Jack Smith formally moved to dismiss the D.C. election interference case against President-elect Donald Trump, citing Trump's reelection and DOJ policy not to prosecute a sitting president. (Smith also moved to dismiss the Government's appeal of the dismissal of the classified documents case against Trump.) Now, Judge Tanya Chutkan has granted the Government's request, ordering the dismissal of the D.C. case as requested. As noted in the original article, the dismissal is without prejudice, and in the Memorandum accompanying her order, Chutkan further explains why she believes such is appropriate in this instance, noting,

Kerry made the remarks on Thursday at a recent John F. An Ontario town has been fined $10,000 and its officials ordered to complete mandatory “human rights” training after it refused to celebrate Pride Month. Emo is a township of about 1,300 people located in the far west of Ontario, along the border with Minnesota. In a decision handed down last week, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario ruled that Emo, its mayor and two of its councillors had violated the Ontario Human Rights Code by refusing to proclaim June as “Pride Month.” The town was also cited for failing to fly “an LGBTQ2 rainbow flag,” despite the fact that they don’t have an official flag pole.

Ever since Vice President Kamala Harris picked Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) as her running mate in early August, it was considered something of an odd choice. For one, it had seemed as if she was going to pick Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA), though he reportedly botched his interview and didn't want to be number two, plus the Democratic Party has plenty of antisemitism to contend with. On Tuesday night, Chris Cillizza put out a lengthy thread on why Walz wasn't the right pick, which became a trending topic over X.
