She’s never been shy in sharing her opinion — but now Sunny Hostin has one less platform to do it on.
“The View” co-host has confirmed she deleted her X account in the wake of Donald Trump’s presidential election win, saying she believes it was a “patriotic” act.
Hostin, 56, made the admission on the “Behind The Table” podcast earlier this week, saying she no longer wants to be associated with the site because it’s owned by avid Trump supporter Elon Musk.
“I think the most patriotic thing I could do right now is just to delete the account,” the avowed Democrat declared.

Another shocking allegation involving the Secret Service could potentially endanger President Trump’s life further following two assassination attempts.
Counter-extremism researchers with the Justice Report say they have discovered that a lifelong anarchist, left-wing extremist, and devout follower of Anfifa is working as a Secret Service agent. Moreover, the individual reportedly has made a series of disgusting comments regarding Trump.
The Gateway Pundit will NOT be naming the alleged Secret Service agent until we confirm the person’s identity.
The supposed agent has a series of ugly posts under the since-deleted account /u/endon40 on the leftist social media forum Reddit

Incoming Senate Majority Leader John Thune said “all the options” are on the table to get President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks through the confirmation process amid concern that some appointees won’t receive enough votes to be confirmed.
Trump in recent days announced his choices for key government positions, from Tulsi Gabbard as director of national intelligence to Matt Gaetz as attorney general and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Health and Human Services secretary.
Thune (R-SD) told Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier on Thursday on “Special Report” that Senate Republicans are going to work with Trump to “see that he gets his team installed as quickly as possible

If you’ve ever played speed chess, then you can appreciate what President Trump is about to do to “official” Washington. This won’t be like 2017, when the president did everything he could to work amicably with House and Senate Republicans. This time, you either get on the “Trump Train” or kindly throw yourself from the back car. There’s no time to waste, and the president won’t be slowing down for stragglers.
After his first election, President Trump arrived in D.C. with Republican majorities in Congress, too. He expected that the people who had promised to repeal Obamacare for seven years would have

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson will not attend the funeral of slain Officer Enrique Martinez on Monday — honoring the family’s wishes that politicians steer clear of the service.
Johnson initially planned to attend but made an about-face following backlash for failing to respect the grieving family’s request.
“The family of Officer Enrique Martinez continues to be in my prayers as they prepare to lay him to rest. I heard from the family and am honoring their request and will no longer plan to attend the honors funeral services,” his office said in a statement, according to NBC Chicago.

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that “when the Democrats lose, the mass is over, go in peace. When the Republicans lose, we have a riot, and we pretend every election is bull****. This is already something that has passed us to the point where we’re not the country we should be or we used to be.” And it “doesn’t matter to anything” that some Democrats are trying to tip the scales in favor of Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA).
Maher began by saying, “I feel like we’re gliding over something really important in this world — or at least in this country — which is that,

The re-election of Donald Trump has left many progressives worried about the future of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programming. And with good reason.
Yet, as a head of a school in New York City, I’ve come to recognize an ironic truth: DEI programs, as traditionally practiced, can be divisive, placing students into rigid roles that can drive them apart instead of bringing them together.
Which is why a new approach to diversity is needed, one that avoids the politicized dogma that now defines the DEI landscape.

Earlier this week, President-elect Donald Trump selected Pete Hegseth to serve as his Secretary of Defense. The reaction was swift, with the criticism in many cases downright nasty and ugly. MSNBC, which has been taking Trump's win pretty hard and has suffered from plummeting post-election ratings, had on multiple guests who threw Hegseth under the bus by accusing him of being a "white supremacist."During "All In with Chris Hayes," Sherrilyn Ifill, a lawyer and professor at Howard University, who also served as the former president and director-counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, made such a claim.

The son of far-left Democratic billionaire kingmaker George Soros said President-elect Donald Trump beat Vice President Kamala Harris because he’s a “super candidate” his party underrated.
“Too many Democrats are fighting each other over campaign tactics because it is easier than accepting that Trump was underestimated as a candidate,” Alex Soros, 39, wrote on X Friday.
“He was a ‘super candidate’ with increasing appeal to a broader electorate — likely beyond the reach of both Democrats and Republicans.
(Photo) “The president-elect outperformed Republicans across the country this year,” he added.

President-elect Donald Trump filed a lawsuit on Friday, vowing to bring justice to his name after years of attacks from the mainstream media.
The incoming 47th president announced he is suing several media outlets, including the New York Times, CBS News, Penguin Random House, and the Daily Beast, alleging widespread bias and defamation. Trump’s lawyer, Edward Andrew Paltzik, demands $10 billion in damages for publishing defamatory material. In the lawsuit, Trump accused the mainstream media of “defaming and disparaging” him during coverage of the election and making “false and defamatory statements.”
The NYT was at the center of the lawsuit.

President Joe Biden sat down with Chinese President Xi Jinping for the last of many meetings with the leader of the economic powerhouse, with Biden accidentally referencing an 'alliance' with the country's top competitor.
'We are the most important alliance – or the most important relationship in the entire world, and how we're getting along together can impact the rest of the world,' Biden said, quickly correcting himself after applying the friendly term to a key supporter of Russia who has been harassing U.S. allies in the South China sea and flooding the U.S. with exports.
But he restated his long held view of using diplomacy to avoid problems.

There was a time, going back two weeks ago (oh my, were we ever that young?!) when political pundits and analysts were lending their perspectives and rendering their careers in making election predictions. This was back when pollster Ann Selzer was declaring Kamala Harris as holding a 3 percentage point advantage in Iowa and was on a momentum streak that looked to sway the election her way. She, and the energetic pundits who touted her outlier result, saw shame as she was only off by 16% as Trump took the state handily.
Others were offering their wise prognosticating, including a few seers who speculated
