Kamala Harris, Guns, and Getting Elected

Original Article

In her stump speeches around the country since accepting her party’s nomination, Kamala Harris has invoked the three tenets of the far left’s gun control platform again and again – bans, red flag laws, and “universal” background checks. But since her September 10th debate with Donald Trump, Harris has struck a different note, emphasizing again and again that she owns a gun. But Americans should not be taken in by Kamala’s willingness to take on any persona – including “pistol-packing Momala” – to mislead voters into thinking she’s a moderate in a cheap ploy to win in November.

We will still have our guns long after Kamala is gone. Count on it. She should have attacked Christians instead - oh wait, she did.

Its always safer to believe a politician is lying whenever they say anything. In her case it is a certainty.

The author is Executive Director of the NRA Institute for Legislative Action. In 2016, the NRA ran an extensive TV ad campaign. Fred Barnes credited turnout of gun owners who generally do not vote for Trump’s wins in Rust Belt states. There was no NRA TV ad campaign in 2020 that I know of. I’ve seen no NRA ads in this cycle. Is the NRA broke due to legal defense expenses? Is the NRA running ads in Rust Belt states only?

Texas Tech kicker Reese Burkhardt had a career moment Saturday when he scored a touchdown on a fake field goal, then gave a shoutout to former President Trump. After taking a surprise pitch and racing around TCU defenders to get into the end zone in the second quarter, Burkhardt pulled his jersey up to reveal a shirt that said "Trump 24 MAGA." Texas Tech ended up losing a 35-34 heartbreaker to TCU, but Burkhardt has been the talk of the game. Trump supporters have praised the senior kicker, while liberals have criticized him and the program on social media.
Harris Is Cratering at the Worst Possible Time 11 replies

If there is one data point above all that suggests Donald Trump and JD Vance are headed for a resounding victory on Nov. 5, it is this: By a nearly 40-point margin in the polling average, Americans are more inclined to believe the country is currently on the wrong track than the right track. There are other reasons to believe the 45th president is peaking at the best possible time and that dimwitted California commie Kamala Harris is cratering at the worst possible time, but the stubbornness of the right-track/wrong-track polling has surely led to many sleepless nights at Harris-Walz campaign headquarters.

Donald Trump or Kamala Harris? To answer a question like that, American voters tend to dive straight into politics. With Election Day fast approaching, our collective political lens may unfortunately trump (no pun intended) our ability to focus on the core qualifications of America’s top job – and which “applicant” is most qualified to do it. Case in point: While volunteering for a nonpartisan group dedicated to improving elections, I spoke with many individuals who felt that because politicians had failed to fulfill their promises, they had no intention to vote. Later, I asked a friend if he had watched any of the presidential or vice presidential debates.

The way the presidential candidates are wrapping up their campaigns could not be more different. Former President Donald Trump is ending on the positive message that he will solve the country’s problems. Vice President Kamala Harris, increasingly desperate, is repeating her rant that Mr. Trump is bad. It’s generally true in politics that it’s better to motivate people to vote in favor of ideas rather than against something. This should tell you that Mr. Trump thinks he’s ahead while Ms. Harris knows she’s behind. Everyone who will vote in the Nov. 5 contest has lived through both administrations. Under Mr. Trump, people remember low inflation, a more secure southern border

Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky published photos of the documents to her personal X profile on Wednesday and Thursday. The documents contain emails from within the Aurora Police Department discussing extensive gang activities in the area. "I am done. I am tired of the city lying. I am done with the governor who called the cops on me. I am done with the local media. This is an issue of human suffering.

With early voting underway in several states as Election Day closes in, Vice President Harris and former President Trump are making their final pitch to voters in critical swing states like Georgia. Many Black men, however, remain torn about the 2024 race, particularly when it comes to the candidates' personalities and top issues like the economy. "Kamala hasn't presented a plan yet on what she's going to do. All she's talked about is what she's going to give people," a voter at FADEOLOGIST 3 barbershop in the Atlanta area told "Fox & Friends" co-host Lawrence Jones. 'I love Kamala Harris,' a young Venezuelan man declared as he rested on the side of a highway in southern Mexico last week. His belongings were heaped at his feet. Hundreds of fellow migrants stretched out along the roadway in both directions. They're headed for the U.S. and nearly all of them have an opinion about who should be America's next president. 'Donald Trump, no,' the Venezuelan man said, shaking his head and dragging his thumb across his throat in a slicing motion. He is one of thousands of migrants – from all over the world – joining a new rush traveling north from southern Mexico toward the U.S. border

These excerpts were first reported Thursday by CNN. McConnell said Trump has “done a lot of damage to our party’s image and our ability to compete.” “Trump is appealing to people who haven’t been as successful as other people and providing an excuse for that,

I like voting absentee, and I got my ballot in the mail a couple of weeks ago. I’ve spent a lot of time staring at it, not thrilled about my choices at the top of the ticket. That is, until lately. Vice President Kamala Harris, her surrogate Democrats and the left-leaning legacy media are all making me – a conservative who is not MAGA in any way – actively want to vote for former President Donald Trump. And I know I’m not alone. Harris and her fellow liberals are starting to sound a lot like the Democrats did in 2016, and it’s a huge turnoff to voters like me.

If Vice President Kamala Harris loses North Carolina, she will lose the election. This will not be because North Carolina’s 16 electoral votes will push her over the 270-vote threshold. Rather, a Harris loss in North Carolina will signal the abandonment of two key constituencies — Black men and blue-collar manufacturing workers — also critical to her victory in other battleground states. In the early stage of Ms. Harris’ Democratic National Convention coup, where she ripped the nomination out of President Biden’s weakened hands, anxiety rippled through the Trump camp. Suddenly, Ms. Harris’ momentum erased a large Trump lead. Unexpectedly, Trump-red North Carolina morphed into Harris blue.

Another proposal includes funding and capital for vocational training "to help expand pathways for Black men to get good-paying jobs." Programs that distribute resources based on economic disadvantage and race have lost challenges in court.

A “frustrated” Michelle Obama attacked Donald Trump during her first campaign trail appearance for Kamala Harris, worrying that the US “will blow this opportunity to finally turn the page on the ugliness” by re-electing the former president. The former first lady did not shy away from slamming the 45th president and his supporters alike during an impassioned speech at Harris’ rally in Kalamazoo, Mich. — her first time stumping for the vice president since the Democratic National Convention in August. Trump supporters and undecided voters hold Harris to a high and unfair double standard while letting the ex-commander in chief coast with little criticism, Obama claimed.

Some blame the crises on costly social programs in a Democrat-leaning state that has Bernie Sanders as a senator and gave President Joe Biden a 36-point landslide win in 2020.

Or will the Democrats, aided by their Deep State operatives in the FBI and CIA, manage to “fortify” the election once again? This may surprise you, but I think he’ll win—although that’s not the end of the story, and there’s not necessarily a happy ending. Two months ago, I didn’t think Trump would win. I was confident that the same “cabal” of Deep State cronies Time Magazine wrote about in 2021—the secret junta that really rules America—would never allow Trump to win in a fair election.
