The union ended their three-day strike until January 15, after reaching a temporary agreement with the U.S. Maritime Alliance. The port employers offered workers to increase wages by 62 percent, according to reports, which helped reach a 'tentative agreement.'The video player is currently playing an ad. 62% over 6 years is 10.3% per year, and that is only to Jan 15, 2025. Social security gets 2.5% this year -- but that is Chinese math, as medicare premiums, out of pocket caps, copays, and coinsurance are increasing by 150%, and more. You will be getting that notice from medicare soon, if you haven't already. The news has not covered the medicare cost rise, because they don't cover anything negative for Biden/Harris and/or it was not in the Democrat Party talking points. Yes, I am suggesting the media don't work. Daggett certainly impressed as a statesman, ignoring the plight of hurricane victims, all with his vulgarity and ugliness, his $900K salary, and Bentley. I wonder if the left will be condemning Daggett's crude behavior -- or do they just attribute that to people they don't like, whether true or not, which is a meaningless test for them.

Just returned from Costco where at least 1/3 of the carts were overflowing w tp and paper towels. Guess they missed the memo that the strike has been changed to a more convenient time. Or hey, since this is Tucson, it could be that they just walked across the border and some non-thinking do-gooder handed them a Costco card with a student loan application. Or something.

On Thursday October 3rd, Vice President Kamala Harris held a campaign event with former Congresswoman Liz Cheney. Liz Cheney officially endorsed Harris in the beginning of September, and soon after her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney followed suit. Harris said she was honored to have their endorsements, and many fellow liberals are celebrating the Cheney endorsements. When asked about the former congresswoman’s campaign event with Harris, President Joe Biden said that Liz Cheney and her father “have character.” MSNBC contributor Tim Miller notably said Dick Cheney’s endorsement should be a wake-up call to everybody, his implication being that Trump is so bad even “conservative” Dick Cheney is backing Harris.

One of the excuses you always hear when there’s a massive failure by the Biden-Harris administration is that no one could have seen it coming. No one could have predicted that the Inflation Reduction Act would actually increase inflation. No one could have predicted that the Afghan government would collapse immediately after we pulled out our troops, leading to a security breakdown and the deaths of 13 U.S. military personnel. No one could have predicted that shipping pallets of cash to Iran would provide funding for a new campaign of terrorist attacks by Iran’s proxies, and so on. The truth though is that all of these disasters were easily foreseeable.

At least 40% of Americans who vote this year are almost sure to vote for Harris/Walz and other Democrats down ticket. That’s a history lesson that I have written about before. Even the woefully incompetent Jimmy Carter received 41% of the popular vote in 1980 after four years of miserable failure. I guess some people like failure. But who are these people? Who in their right mind would vote for Kamala Harris for President? Well, again, millions will do it. Why? Let’s look at who these people are. But before I do that, I want to mention the countless Americans who won’t vote for anybody.
