On Thursday October 3rd, Vice President Kamala Harris held a campaign event with former Congresswoman Liz Cheney. Liz Cheney officially endorsed Harris in the beginning of September, and soon after her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney followed suit. Harris said she was honored to have their endorsements, and many fellow liberals are celebrating the Cheney endorsements. When asked about the former congresswoman’s campaign event with Harris, President Joe Biden said that Liz Cheney and her father “have character.” MSNBC contributor Tim Miller notably said Dick Cheney’s endorsement should be a wake-up call to everybody, his implication being that Trump is so bad even “conservative” Dick Cheney is backing Harris.

Hurricane Helene, which tore through the southeastern United States and took more than 185 lives, may also effect this year's presidential election.
The hurricane was the first catastrophe in US history to hit two crucial swing states - North Carolina and Georgia - within just six weeks of a presidential election, according to Politico.
It particularly devastated heavily Republican areas of the two states, giving Vice President Kamala Harris a potential edge over former President Donald Trump.

Former President Donald Trump honored firefighter Corey Comperatore, who was murdered in the near-assassination of Trump in July, during his return to Butler, Pennslyvania, on Saturday.
Trump hailed Comperatore –whose wife, Helen, and children were in attendance – as a hero for the actions he took to shield his family from the shooter, sacrificing his life.(X Video)
“Corey Comperatore was an incredible husband and father, a devout Christian, a veteran, and a proud former fire chief, very respected within the town. Everybody knew him, ” Trump said. “Few men volunteered to run into fires, but Corey was one of those who did. He ran into fires.”

One of the excuses you always hear when there’s a massive failure by the Biden-Harris administration is that no one could have seen it coming. No one could have predicted that the Inflation Reduction Act would actually increase inflation. No one could have predicted that the Afghan government would collapse immediately after we pulled out our troops, leading to a security breakdown and the deaths of 13 U.S. military personnel. No one could have predicted that shipping pallets of cash to Iran would provide funding for a new campaign of terrorist attacks by Iran’s proxies, and so on.
The truth though is that all of these disasters were easily foreseeable.

Elon Musk took the stage at former President Donald Trump’s triumphant rally in Butler, Pa., Saturday — three months after the first assassination attempt on his life there — where he offered his full-throated support for the Republican candidate and implored people to register to vote.
Musk, 53, joked he’s “not just MAGA, I’m dark MAGA” as he took the stage to loud cheers from the 20,000-plus crowd dressed in all black — including a custom black MAGA hat.
“President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America,” Musk stressed to the audience.

Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee, said she knew her father-in-law Donald Trump would return to Butler County before he made the announcement, noting that he operates with “strength and faith.” Trump when speaking on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Butler Farm Show grounds said the November election features a choice between “good and evil“ rather than Republican and Democrats, respectively.
“And good is going to win,” she said.

This is more of a think piece than an article, so please stay with me here. It’s based on decades of public health and disaster management work I’ve been involved with during my career.
I first got involved in this while working as an executive at Lexington County Hospital, across the river from the state Capital of Columbia in South Carolina. I’ve had similar positions at other county and city hospitals, including such disaster areas as Flint, Michigan’s city hospital. In all cases, those hospitals were responsible for public health in the counties and cities they served.
At Lexington County Hospital, we were hit by Hurricane David –

Twice-failed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton said the quiet part out loud during an appearance on CNN on Saturday.
Hillary Clinton appeared on CNN to discuss social media regulations.
Clinton said social media platforms must censor content or else “we lose total control.”
“We should be in view repealing something called Section 230 which gave platforms on the internet immunity because they were thought to be just pass-throughs that they shouldn’t be judged for the content that is posted. But we now know that is an overly simple view

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign appears to have set their focus on fundraising and celebrity sit-downs, raking in millions through the help of Hollywood and big money donors.
Support for Vice President Kamala Harris skyrocketed after President Joe Biden ended his reelection bid on July 21 and endorsed her. Donors who had withheld funds under Biden and celebrities questioning his mental fitness quickly rallied around Harris, dramatically boosting her image.

Tesla boss Elon Musk jumped on stage with his fists in air as he joined Donald Trump on stage for the first time.
It came as Trump returned to the Butler Farm Show grounds where he survived an attempted assassination two months ago.
Musk told the huge crowd: 'America is the home of the brave and the true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. We had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs and another who was fist-pumping after getting shot! FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!

At least 40% of Americans who vote this year are almost sure to vote for Harris/Walz and other Democrats down ticket. That’s a history lesson that I have written about before. Even the woefully incompetent Jimmy Carter received 41% of the popular vote in 1980 after four years of miserable failure. I guess some people like failure. But who are these people? Who in their right mind would vote for Kamala Harris for President? Well, again, millions will do it. Why? Let’s look at who these people are.
But before I do that, I want to mention the countless Americans who won’t vote for anybody.

A three-time convicted violent criminal repeatedly threatened to kidnap and kill Judge Aileen Cannon and her family but the Biden-Harris DOJ waited FOUR MONTHS to bring charges and arrest him.
Aileen Cannon is a Trump-appointed judge for the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Judge Cannon was assigned to Jack Smith’s classified documents case against President Trump.
Eric Rennert, 65, of Illinois, is facing six federal charges and the indictment accuses him of communicating interstate threats and threatening to kidnap, injure, and murder a federal judge.
