After achieving “four seconds of fame” thanks to Oprah, a social media user delivered a scathing impersonation of Vice President Kamala Harris to reveal her actual opinion.
From Beyoncé to Billie Eilish, and of course Taylor Swift, the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee has relied on the cult of personality to bolster her flimsy campaign. Likewise, it appeared that Oprah Winfrey’s “Unite for America Rally” wasn’t above using unvetted clips to spin a narrative for Harris’ so-called “Opportunity Economy.”
What was unfortunate for the billionaire media mogul proved to be the internet’s gain, however,

Liz Cheney continues to linger in the public eye after she was run out of Congress by Republican voters and is now calling for a new “conservative” party to counter the America-first influence of Donald J. Trump in the GOP.
The disgraced former congresswoman appeared at the Capital Times Idea Fest in Madison, Wisconsin where she sat down for an interview with Peter Baker of the New York Times, airing her grievances with the former president and suggesting that it’s time for the neocons and Never Trumpers to pick up their toys and go elsewhere.
Cheney told Baker – who is also an MSNBC analyst –

Nearly half a million General Motors (GM) vehicles are being recalled due to a potentially faulty brake fluid warning light, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on September 12.
The recall includes 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500s and GMC Sierra 1500s as well as 2023-2024 Cadillac Escalades, Cadillac Escalade ESVs, Chevrolet Suburban 1500s, Chevrolet Tahoes, GMC Yukons, and GMC Yukon XLs, the administration’s report stated.
The impacted makes and models amount to 449,671 vehicles, according to CBS News.
“Without a warning light, the vehicle may be driven with low brake fluid, which can reduce braking performance and increase the risk of a crash,” the NHTSA said.

Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is crediting God for telling him to put on his seat belt only minutes before a frightening car wreck that occurred in August.
Andrews was heading toward the Ravens’ team facility for training camp on August 14 when his 2014 Toyota Tundra was involved in a two-car crash.
Now, Andrews is telling fans that God spoke to him through the sound of the seat belt chime that reminded him to put on his restraints only minutes before the accident.
“I just thought about people probably wake up in the hospital and have the moment of the last thing they hear is the seatbelt sound,” Andrews said.

The Secret Service in America not only failed to protect President Trump from nearly getting assassinated on two occasions, but it’s so discombobulated that agents are now shooting themselves.
WUSA 9 revealed today that a United States Secret Service (USSS) agent was on duty Saturday evening right before 8 p.m. when he “negligently” discharged his weapon and shot himself. The incident reportedly happened near 32nd and Fessenden Streets in northwest Washington, DC.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to recover from his injuries. The Secret Service is not making any further details public at this time as they plan to investigate what happened.

Perhaps no person in America has been red-pilled as much as Megyn Kelly on President Trump as she has turned into one of his most effective advocates over the past few years. This was noticeably apparent earlier this month during a summit in California.
Kelly participated as a speaker at the All-in Summit in Los Angeles, California, which went from September 8-10. She was part of a panelist of the 10th during a segment called Besties on Stage, where she was asked multiple questions, including her thoughts on trans issues, Trump’s chances vs Kamala Harris, the corrupt lawfare against Trump, and how politicians have changed.

I wanted to hit upon a couple of things that people were posting on X about the Kamala Oprah debacle and clear up one story that's floating out there. (Snip) There appear to be duplicates in the Zoom audience, despite the fact that Oprah was talking about this great "grassroots" effort.
Here's a shot from the ABC News video at 2:00 minutes in. Check the second and third rows from the top. You see in the second row from the top, starting from the left, there are seven people. Those same seven people are then repeated in the third row, starting from the middle.

This series has focused on many types of heroes: dogs who used their noses to save children, kind neighbors who went above and beyond, and regular folks who acted bravely in the moment. That doesn’t mean we forget the action types, though—the heroes who jump out of planes, run into raging fires to save pets, or jump into frozen ponds to rescue drowning people.
That’s exactly what we have here, and dramatic video footage captured the amazing moment when two Macomb County, Michigan, sheriff’s deputies worked as a team to save a 63-year-old incapacitated driver—and possibly, victims who would have been injured or worse had the situation not been resolved.

During Oprah's livestream event for Kamala Harris, they brought in celebrities on the screen including Bryan Cranston, Chris Rock, and Julia Roberts.
Now this was all supposed to be about boosting Kamala Harris and what she has done and/or could do for America. But it was like a group encounter session where they were hoping to pull in viewers with celebrities -- let's have everyone share their feelings, like an extended Oprah show. Check it out and you can see what I mean. [Video]
Meanwhile they didn't get how clueless they seemed, putting out these millionaire celebrities to push for Harris,

A man named Steve Rosenberg, who is a Jewish Democrat from Pennsylvania, recently appeared on FOX News to explain why he is supporting Trump and why he believes other Jewish voters should do the same.
He clearly trusts Trump to deal with the conflict in the Middle East and the rising antisemitism in the United States. As Scott Jennings recently pointed out on CNN, the antisemitism we are seeing in this country right now is coming from the left.
Jewish voters have typically been part of the Democrat coalition but that may change this year.

One benchmark I've always applied in judging a public figure's intelligence is their ability to speak extemporaneously. Ronald Reagan was good at it, as was Bill Clinton. George W. Bush was only fair, and off of the teleprompter, Barack Obama was pretty bad. Joe Biden never was any good at it, even before he went senile.
Kamala Harris, when she attempts to speak, is an absolute train wreck. Her word salads are legendary; her delivery is stilted and awful, interspersed with her annoying, nervous cackle. She attempts to come across as smart and well-informed

It is perhaps belaboring the obvious to note that the United States hasn't always given the original inhabitants of much of our territory a fair shake. That's history, and those people are long gone now - but some members of the lesser-known native groups are still fighting for recognition. One of these is North Carolina's Lumbee tribe, which is recognized by the state of North Carolina but not by the federal government.
At a rally in North Carolina on Saturday, former President Donald Trump promised to sign legislation granting the Lumbee federal recognition. [Tweet, video]
