In a press conference on Tuesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) appeared in a press conference to detail why his state would take the lead on the investigation into the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.
To recap, on Sunday, United States Secret Service discovered that an armed man was hiding in the bushes at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. An agent noticed the muzzle of a rifle in the shrubs, the Associated Press noted, and fired at the gunman. The suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, fled the scene but was later tracked down and arrested. The FBI confirmed that Trump was the target.

Thank goodness that Governor DeSantis is willing to investigate this assassination attempt on President Trump's life.
Maybe they will find a connection to the Butler, PA attempt as well.

This is not as simple as it is being made to look. FBI, SS must be nervous.

Considering the known biases of the Local FBI field office chief and the efforts to scrub those biases from the record, I wouldn't trust him anywhere near Trump. Like the real Bobby Kennedy assassin, he might just empty his gun into Trump's back if a distraction is provided. Sirhan Sirhan never got a shot off toward Bobby. His gun was already being held overhead. Kennedy's bodyguard was directly behind him and had his back - which received multiple bullets.
Oswald might have fired on JFK... or maybe his rifle stayed in its bag. We know multiple guns from multiple angles shot JFK.
Both JFK and his brother were off-route... redirected by their supposed guardians, into the assassins mark.
Trump, has now been likewise served. The Butler Rally in July, was supposed to be elsewhere on the fairgrounds, but was changed to near the AGR Bldg a few weeks before.
His golf game was not on his schedule. He wasn't supposed to be there. Why was he? Sure Trump may have decided on his own, BUT... It is real easy to drop a suggestion for a change of schedule. Did someone?
Someone IN government is trying to kill Trump and make it look like a disturbed person not IN government. They don't want MAGA lookiing at them when their leader is murdered. But at this point, they don't have another plan. Look for Bill and Hillary's little 'Plane Trick'. A steel bar place in the landing gear of a plane to prevent the landing gear from locking. Don't know if it would work on Trump 1 - but these creeps are getting desperate.

The reason is very obvious. The FBLIE and Dept of JustUs are totally Crooked and compromised. ANYTHING they do has a certainty of being CROOKED!

We've already seen more results and transparency out of local Florida law enforcement in the past two days than we've seen with the feds in the past two months since the Butler PA shooting.

Because DeSantis will actually try to get to the bottom of it, unlike the dim-0s DOJ.

The Feds jumped in real quick with a minor charge of a felon having an unregistered gun! That's it?!
They don't even know if he transported that rifle over state lines or got it in Florida as the number was scratched off. Federal crime if it crossed state lines, local crime if obtained in Florida. They did all this, as Andrew McCarthy pointed out, to block local police from getting their hands on the suspect.
Routh actually broke many state laws ... and practically no federal ones by comparison. After all --- he didn't actually fire the gun and we have to assume it was in working order, properly loaded, etc. And as that jackass County Sheriff spoke the hidden message out loud (Trump is just a civilian) so the state has a bigger claim on Routh as Trump is a citizen of Florida.
Sad that the DHS has corrupted the once valiant Secret Service.

This is excellent!!... now WE will get the answers and the FBI can't bury the facts.....good for DeSantis...let's teach washington elites how an investigation should done...and I think the local police did a fabulous job catching this weirdo....no wonder the DOJ was on the defensive about their role in the Butler investigation...they washed all the information quickly and then cremated the shooter before the facts came out....
