For more than two centuries, it’s a town that has stayed out of the spotlight as its largely law-abiding folk quietly carried on with their lives. It's so unassuming, even its name was taken from another city. But now Springfield, Ohio, has suddenly found itself under worldwide scrutiny over its burgeoning Haitian population – and you can taste the tension on the streets. The latest inflammatory and unproven accusations that some new immigrants are eating household pets have only served to increase the rancor of many locals who cannot accept the new arrivals. Meanwhile, some of the 15,000 or so Haitians who have made the city their home

I hope more people are aware of how vicious the main stream media is. There are 911 calls to police from people who have lost pets and seen them stealing geese then eating them. But boy it's all Trumps fault. I think it's too late for the democrats. They are getting more and more desperate. Too many see the truth now just by going to the grocery store and seeing the number of illegals taking over places. These are dangerous times.

They are considering leaving. And this is a problem? Well, it is for the next town they invade. This is not the only place where park animals have disappeared. I have read other stories. The pets disappearing might be their voodoo religious beliefs more so than eating them. Regardless these ILLEGALS do not belong here. And flying them in and dumping them on these towns is evil. This is on FJB and the DEI VP back. Not Trump. And regardless whom was in office when this happened, and even if no animals were disappearing, I'd be mad as hell. I suggest they get Johnny Legend's address and send them there. Or maybe Taylor Swift's home.

They dropped 20,000 Haitians on a small town; it would be news if a few pets didn’t get eaten. Unless the government vetted them and refused to allow the uncouth ones in. No, I don’t think so either.

If you accuse, and it is found to be the truth, the witness is guilty, then? Whay hypocrisy. Mind you, these Haitians have a horrific history. The ones brought here, are the survivors. But it wasn't the responsibility of the citizens of Springfield to accept them. They were not given a choice. This is a Democrat caused problem.

Trump called attention to a problem that was already there. The media seems determined to prove that Trump is wrong. They discount firsthand accounts by citizens, 911 calls, and police reports but take any bureaucrats (disagreeing with Trump) word as gospel. Bringing this up is not hate, it is drawing attention to the failures of the Biden Harris administration.

Stop with the cats already. In the end, the best we can do is ask the Springfield Haitians to prove they are NOT eating cats. Surely we know about the futility of trying to prove a negative? Why we'd want to get embroiled in sensational pet-eating claims so close to an election that could change America forever is mind-boggling. What a waste of precious time. What are we thinking?

If it is from the U.K.'s Daily Mail, I know it will be anti-American. I say, how are things going in the United Kingdom? Any immigration problems? Any problems with crime, assimilation, raping of women, over-crowding in schools and hospitals? I wonder if the Daily Mail ever writes editorials about these problems. Or is it too late to try to rectify them? Trump is a problem solver, and he has the people behind him. It is sad how others want this country to fail!

Back in the mid-1960s when I was still in grade school, my father was stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in NE Dayton, OH. We lived in base housing, a place I remember as 'clean projects.' About once a month, we'd go to nearby Springfield, northeast of Dayton, to eat in out at the local Frisch's Big Boy restaurant, a place that was like a forerunner to Denny's. As a senior enlisted man, my father, a WWII and Korean War vet didn't bring home much money, so we never went to the more upscale eating places in the area. At Frisch's, we were almost always served by the same very pretty and very efficient waitress every time we went there to eat and I always looked forward to seeing her, as she remembered the only thing on their menu that I would eat and she would have kind words for me at every encounter. Springfield had some old homes that were purported to be stops on the Underground Railroad, a loose confederation of sanctuary stops for slaves from the South, escaping North to find their freedom. Within that context, I noticed that are regular waitress had not been working during our past two visits. I asked my parents why she was missing and my dad spoke to the on-duty manager. He seemed rather disturbed when he got back to our table. It seems that when management found out that my first waitress crush was what the manager referred to as "high yellow," a phrase I had never before heard, meaning a light-skinned black lady who could pass and often did pass for white. She was fired for having some black blood in her veins, regardless of her excellent customer service and popularity. As a family from Texas, we had been tossed barbs by the locals about being Southern racists - when the racism was alive and well in Springfield, OH. I observed the same type and degree of hypocrisy at our next duty station at on Cape Cod, MA, home of Otis AFB. The common factors were democrats. They point the finger at the victims of their own prejudice but never, ever walk the walk. Springfield today is more conservative than it was in 1965, so it became a crass target of the massive Biden-Harris influx of foreign invaders/future democrats and now its democrat politicians are engaged in covering up the harmful effects of this invasion. Perfect symmetry.

I HATED all of these sub-human foreign invaders long before the cat-eating stories appeared. I hate them not for their race or skin color or nationality or any other physical characteristic. I hate them for illegally invading MY country; committing a crime by coming here and arrogantly violating our laws once here. My hate for these foreign invaders grows hotter with each passing day and with each atrocity they commit. My hate keeps me warm. When the time finally and thankfully arrives; it will not be the useless, unlawful, tyrannical government that brings these foreign invaders to justice. It will be We The People. It will be brutal, my brothers. Amen.
