The economic case Trump needs to make

Original Article

Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris unveiled her long-awaited economic plan telling supporters, “We were facing one of the worst economic crises in modern history” when she and President Joe Biden took the oath of office. Even liberal economists panned it. Despite the bad reviews, her new communications director Monday doubled-down, claiming that back then, “the economy was in the ditch.” But was it? Obviously, the Harris strategy is to offset the economic failures of her administration by blaming greedy corporations and the “other guy.” But the other guy has plenty of actual data to refute what amounts to economic disinformation if he chooses to use it.

Comments:

Trump is already making this argument. It’s his supporters who need to make it as strongly as possible

So Trump has got to work 365/24/7, while Kamala has to do nothing to get elected, making these episodes of advice to Trump look like nonsense, when the efforts of these candidates are compared.

The Republicans in Congress need to refute Harris' lies 24/7. Flood the Sunday morning shows with facts, not campaign BS.

Beyond making the point that he (Trump) had great economic results besides the impact of COVID, Trump needs to hammer on the fact that Biden/Harris were warned that their 1.9 trillion spending spree would trigger inflation in an already rapidly recovering economy. They passed it anyway, with Harris tipping it over the edge, and inflation WAS/IS the result. This is a typical dem approach to things. They want to do something. They are warned of the likely problems it would cause. They do it anyway. The expected problems occur. Dems try to deny the problems exist or blame others. ALL the Biden/Harris programs have worked out like this. They have had NO success and Harris' hands are just as dirty as Biden's.

The democrats create chaos with the deliberate release of Covid-19. They use their mouthpiece media, medical and educational hitmen to ramp up, heretofore, unseen hysteria of the masses, causing a swath of economic and cultural destruction across the country, and then blame President Trump for the fallout. Doesn’t need to be true; all they need is the talking point for the headline readers. See how that works?

All icing and no cake. That’s the only way to describe the Democratic National Convention that mercifully ended Thursday night with Kamala Harris’s acceptance speech as the party’s improbable nominee. The icing, of course, was all the joy shoved down America’s collective throats from Chicago, a city where more than two dozen have been shot since the convention began, all without a care in the world about the state of the country. On Night Three alone, the word “joy” was said 30 times by various speakers. But that wasn’t close to the word uttered most from podium. Instead, the gold medal goes to a name: Trump.

A current top campaign adviser for VP Kamala Harris was deeply involved in pushing Facebook to suppress "misinformation" in an effort to control the political narrative on COVID and other issues. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted in a letter on Monday while expressing regret that his company, Facebook, was pressured by the Biden-Harris administration to censor Americans, particularly regarding COVID-19 content, bringing to the forefront actions taken by Harris' deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty as part of that pressure campaign. Flaherty, who previously served as the White House director of digital strategy, helped lead the campaign to target alleged "misinformation" relating to the COVID-19 virus and its vaccinations

During the 2016 presidential campaign, tens of millions of Americans turned away from the two elitist, entrenched political parties and toward then-New York City businessman Donald Trump. They did so like someone drowning in turbulent waters who is suddenly thrown a lifeline. Support for Trump became a survival instinct for the millions who viewed him as their last hope. Come 2023 and 2024, millions of Americans cast their eyes toward Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Like Trump, they saw him as a non-politician who could not be cowered or controlled by the special interests. They saw Kennedy as a truthteller who would fight for them against the elites in both parties.

A new poll indicates a deadlocked Senate race in Maryland, where Republicans are aiming to flip a long-held Democrat seat in an overwhelmingly blue state in a key contest that may decide if the GOP wins back the chamber's majority. Former two-term Gov. Larry Hogan - the Republican nominee in the race - and Democratic nominee Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks both stand at 46% support among likely voters in Maryland, according to an AARP public opinion survey released on Tuesday. Seven percent were undecided, according to the survey conducted Aug. 14-20.

The state of Mississippi is spending over $100 million on illegal immigration, according to a new report by the state -- with the governor blaming it on an "intentional failure" by the Biden-Harris administration to secure the border. The report by the Mississippi state auditor found that there are at least 22,000 illegal immigrants in the state. Analysts estimate that it costs taxpayers over $100 million annually, with more than $25 million to educate illegal immigrants in public school alone. Meanwhile, taxpayers spend $77 million to provide health care for illegal immigrants and their children, and another $1.7 million to incarcerate illegal immigrant criminals, it found.

If past is prologue, Donald Trump will win Pennsylvania. Eight years ago this week, Hillary Clinton led in Pennsylvania by more than nine points; four years ago, Joe Biden led by nearly six points. Clinton lost Pennsylvania by less than a point, while Biden won it by more than a point. Heading into the Democratic National Convention, the Emerson/RealClearPennsylvania poll showed Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris by a point. Averaging together the Pennsylvania polling taken since Harris became the Democratic Party’s nominee, the state’s presidential race is a dead heat.

Trump’s narrow 2016 victory in Michigan, where he won by just 10,704 votes (0.22%), marked the first time a Republican had claimed the state’s 16 electoral votes since George H. W. Bush in 1988. However, in 2020, he lost the state by 154,181 votes, or 2.78%. The question now looms: Can he reclaim the Great Lakes State in 2024? Historically, polls have often underestimated Trump’s performance in Michigan while overestimating that of his Democratic opponents. As baseball legend Yogi Berra famously said, "It ain't over till it's over." This adage holds especially true for the three tier-1 swing states: Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

Along with documents, the Meta CEO said, the company has provided a dozen employees to be available for transcribed interviews, stressing Meta’s cooperation with the investigation.

They aren't selling themselves well. If you think this is good, I've got sour news for you. This is the kind of thing that spurs Democrats into action. As Joe Biden disembarked Air Force One in the early hours of Tuesday morning in California last week, he was visibly shaking. It was approaching 5.30am East Coast time and the president had been awake almost 24 hours. Walking slowly down the plane's stairs, he struggled to step up into the SUV waiting to take him to the 8,000-acre Santa Barbara ranch where he and his family have just enjoyed a week-long vacation. One of his Secret Service agents moved to shield him from the watching cameras, before giving him a helpful boost into the car. On the tarmac, First Lady Jill Biden watched, visibly concerned.
