The Navy will reportedly sideline 17 vessels due to a manpower shortage that makes it difficult to properly crew and operate ships across the fleet. There just aren't enough Merchant Marines to keep all the ships going at once, according to Rear Admiral (Ret.) Mark Montgomery, senior director of the Center on Cyber and Technology Innovation for the Foundation for Defense of Democracy, told Fox News Digital. Merchant Marines operate the many support vessels needed to keep the Navy running. "The problem, of course, is the ships are at sea, away from home port 12 months of the year," Montgomery said. "So you need two crews … we're desperately short

Between the covid mandate and the ever increasing social engineering, they have made the military unattractive to anyone who has a choice. Its been coming on for a long time and has been discussed by the enlisted grades for decades (after looking over their shoulders). You can only push so far. They've exceeded that.

We had ~$70B in foreign aid obligations in 2022 (which seems low to me). I'd bet our Navy could use some of that. And then there's the actual Navy training and recruitment. How much does the Navy spend on gay and trans training and quotas? https://www.foreignassistance.gov/

Big surprise...no one wants the DEI and trans training....the chicken has come home to roost....the government got just what they wanted...unhealthy twisted leadership and NO one is buying it...now they must start the draft again....so the government has the man power to install martial law and keep President Trump from office....that's their next play in their corrupt game....

Too bad Joe Biden and the political Generals at the Pentagon decided to send all the real warriors packing because the covid shots were pretty much untested and said warriors walked. We are paying the price for that stupidity right now. Well, soon President Trump will start forcing the political Generals to resign and he will start filling the gaping holes with real warriors who know D E I is crap!!

The article is clear that these unique Navy ships are manned by merchant seamen. Each ship has a small contingent of US Navy personnel. The ship manning problems are with the merchant seamen, not Navy sailors. Merchant ships like freighters, crude oil tankers, etc contend for manning their ships using the same civilian merchant seamen contracted by the US Navy. There are shortages in manning Navy combat ships due to recruiting shortfalls. A contributing problem appears to be short turnaround of Navy ships between deployment and longer deployments.

The economic case Trump needs to make 0 replies

Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris unveiled her long-awaited economic plan telling supporters, “We were facing one of the worst economic crises in modern history” when she and President Joe Biden took the oath of office. Even liberal economists panned it. Despite the bad reviews, her new communications director Monday doubled-down, claiming that back then, “the economy was in the ditch.” But was it? Obviously, the Harris strategy is to offset the economic failures of her administration by blaming greedy corporations and the “other guy.” But the other guy has plenty of actual data to refute what amounts to economic disinformation if he chooses to use it.

The Biden-Harris administration has been conditioning funding at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to advance research in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Medicine (STEMM) on "diversity statements" and equity requirements in what academics are calling a "politicized litmus test." From day one, the Biden-Harris administration announced it would overhaul every single agency with the ideals of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). It ensured there were DEI bureaucracies in place to impose its agendas regularly.

Wednesday night at the Democratic National Convention, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz accepted his party’s nomination to be their candidate for vice president. While he pitched himself as a moderate Midwesterner, Conservatives should be ecstatic over this choice. Walz’s radical policies mark Kamala as an even more polarizing figure and hurt her chances to win swing states. Leading up to the announcement, rumors suggested that Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro was a lead contender for Harris’ VP pick. Shapiro has a lot of things going for him. He is young (51), popular, and broadly viewed as a moderate. In addition, adding Shapiro to the ticket would help Harris

High rent costs and living expenses have forced a Connecticut mother of two to move her family from an apartment into a hotel, adding to the list of unconventional living situations America's working class has been compelled to take on to make ends meet. "Hope and joy is not paying my bills," Suzanne Hayes told Piro when asked about the DNC's message to voters.

No one is buying what Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party are selling these days. Earlier this week, on the opening night of the demonic confab in Chicago that Democrats call their national convention, the outgoing commander-in-chief explicitly denied that he was "angry at all those people" who said he should "step down" following his catastrophic faceplant at the June presidential debate. There is not a single soul who actually believes this. For weeks following the debate, while the corporate media and Democrat elites circled like piranhas, the White House defiantly stood its ground and insisted it wasn't going anywhere.

Did you hear that, America? Vice President Kamala Harris says, “The consequences of putting Donald Trump back in the White House are extremely serious.” Extremely serious consequences. She sounded more like a vice principal than a vice president. The only people who ever warn about extremely serious consequences are those who lack the power to impose them. It is a phrase used by high school administrators, HR ladies, and other figures of pseudo-authority who have to put on grave faces in order to stop the person on the other side of the desk from laughing.

Will the real Kamala Harris please stand up? Promises to “chart a new path forward” and “be a president for all Americans” are so boilerplate, they ought to be outlawed. After three nights of political hosannas in which she was depicted as a cross between Eliot Ness and Mother Teresa, Harris finally took the floor to speak for herself Thursday night. She spoke well and forcefully and electrified the Chicago convention hall, but color me as confused as ever. Other than not being Donald Trump or Joe Biden, who is she? What does she really believe and what would she do as president? If she knows the answers, she’s keeping them a secret.

When Joe Biden picked Kamala Harris as his running mate four years ago, he said he did so because she could assume the office “on day one.” More than 30 days after becoming the presumptive nominee, Harris still does not seem ready to be the Democratic Party’s nominee, let alone president. She is an empty pantsuit, basking in the glow of positive media coverage and unburdened by accountability. Her acceptance speech confirmed that. Harris has now officially accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination. Her nomination was “historic,” as liberals like to say, but not because of her ethnicity. Rather,

Does anybody else feel like we’re navigating a deep spiritual divide in America? In addition to officially nominating and affirming its presidential candidate, political conventions serve as a snapshot of its party’s overarching priorities, principles and passions — a united declaration, and an unapologetic defense of its platform. If that’s the case, the Democratic National Convention in Chicago is making loud and clear that for its party and its candidates, nationwide access to abortion transcends every other issue. This ongoing obsession with the willful destruction of human life represents a sobering chapter in American history — and one that ominously foreshadows dark and difficult times to come.

A year into Barack Obama’s presidency, Sarah Palin, a former Alaska governor and John McCain’s 2008 running mate, mockingly asked a Tea Party gathering a question: “How’s that hopey, changey stuff working out?” The roomful of conservatives howled with laughter because by then, Obama’s dreamy campaign motto of “Hope and Change” had been replaced by hard policy lurches to the far left. The Palin question is a piece of history 2024 voters should keep in mind as they assess Kamala Harris. The parallels between then and now are striking. Like Obama, the Democrats’ current nominee has been maddeningly elusive about what she would do as president.

For years many have questioned the official narrative of what happened on November 22, 1963 in Dallas - specifically the Warren Commission's finding that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.
