Experts are sounding the alarm in the wake of college prices closing in on $100,000 per year when counting tuition, fees, room and board, books, and other living expenses.
“Among the schools appearing on The Princeton Review’s ‘The Best 389 Colleges’ list, eight institutions — including New York University, Tufts, Brown, Yale and Washington University in St. Louis — have a sticker price of more than $90,000 for the 2024-25 academic year,” CNBC reported. Those tuition prices could well cross into the $100,000 territory come 2026 so long as the adjustments average roughly 4 percent a year.

Throughout the Democratic National Convention, Democrats made a big show out of being “normal,” of standing for “freedom” and traditional, patriotic values. They did their best, but of course it is all a lie; there’s nothing normal about them.
Allow me to guide you through the Democrats’ wondrous world of human freaks and oddities. But first, we must get inside!
Careful, this is a dangerous path. Stay alert as we wade through the crowds of unwashed protesters — rabid, the lot of them.
Feast your eyes on a veritable buffet of causes. Do you want to see the destruction of Israel? Care to donate to Hamas?

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has accused his own party of blatant hypocrisy regarding voting rights. He asserts that while the Democratic National Committee (DNC) publicly champions the cause of voter access, they are simultaneously engaged in efforts to suppress the opponent’s candidacy, including him.
Kennedy Jr., who is facing significant resistance from party insiders, claims that the DNC and various state-level organizations are employing underhanded tactics to undermine his campaign.
His vice-presidential pick, Nicole Shanahan, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the alarming trend of legal battles initiated by Democrats against political opponents.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Thursday that a new Arizona law -- which requires individuals to provide proof of citizenship in order to register to vote -- can go into effect immediately. (X) The Republican National Committee is celebrating the decision as a win for election integrity.
“This is a major victory for election integrity that upholds a simple principle: American elections must be decided by American citizens. While Democrats have worked to undermine basic election safeguards and make it easier for non-citizens to vote, we have fought tooth and nail to preserve citizenship requirements,

The Trump-Vance campaign sent out a media advisory on Thursday night teasing that former and potentially future President Donald Trump will be joined by a "special guest" at his rally at Glendale, Arizona on Friday. The Trump War Room account also put out a post teasing this mystery person, though it's widely speculated that such a guest will be Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who is presently running for president as an Independent. (X;s) Earlier this week, as Katie has been covering, Nicole Shanahan, RFK's running mate, hinted that RFK may be dropping out of the race to "join forces with" Trump.

Former Republican presidential contender Vivek Ramaswamy was chased out of an anti-Israel protest a few blocks away from the DNC after making a surprise appearance.
Ramaswamy was noticed by the crowd of radical activists as soon as he left his car, and was swarmed by protesters and journalists at Union Park where the protests have been organizing all week.
“You should take off. We don’t want you here,” Hatem Abudayyeh, who openly supports Hamas, told Ramaswamy. The Arab activist, who had his home raided by the FBI in 2010 for “material support of terrorism,” told Ramaswamy to leave after telling him he doesn’t have a right to be present if

Everybody's talking about it at the Democratic National Convention - but nobody knows if it's a rumor or reality.
It's that Beyoncé will enter the 2024 political race, by performing her hit Freedom ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris' nominating speech Thursday night.
Supporters have tried to will both a Beyoncé and Taylor Swift endorsement into existence, with more than 70,000 signing a MoveOn.org petition asking the two stars to step up. But it's Queen Bey who's been on the tip of everyone's lips during the four-day convention in Chicago - with one Democratic state party chair openly saying in front of reporters that she was coming.

Like most left-leaning outlets, Axios has its good days and bad. They were excellent reporting on the turmoil and chaos that engulfed the Biden White House after the June 27 debate, which killed the president’s re-election effort. The White House staff’s irreparable deflation, Democratic congressional aides panicking, and the slew of calls with party leaders made disastrous headlines for the president. With Biden gone, Kamala Harris has taken the reins, and her first public policy proposal is to enact price fixes to curb the rising process from the Biden-Harris inflationary agenda. Axios tried to spin this and got slapped with a brutal fact check on Twitter (via Daily Wire):

Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris’s economic plan would increase taxes by $5 trillion over ten years, according to Americans for Tax Reform (ATR).
Harris’s campaign announced an enormous economic package on Monday that would undo former President Donald Trump’s tax cuts, claiming it would be part of “a fiscally responsible way to put money back in the pockets of working people and ensure billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share.” Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act slashed the corporate tax rate from 35 to 21 percent, lowered income tax rates, and doubled the standard deduction.

As one of the negotiators of the disastrous border bill put together and released earlier this year, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) has been prone to gaslighting about illegal immigration and the failures of the Biden-Harris administration on the issue. He took it all that much further, though, when he spoke at the DNC on Wednesday night, coming up with what the Trump-Vance campaign referred to as the "most absurd lie yet from the DNC stage."
"Kamala Harris is not weak," Murphy laughably claimed about the vice president. "For 20 years, Kamala Harris has been tough as nails when it comes to securing our border,"

Update: The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office reports that the suspect is now in custody.
The original article continues below. An urgent manhunt is underway for an Arizona sex offender who allegedly threatened to assassinate former President Donald Trump during his Thursday visit to the U.S.-Mexico border.
