When my twin brother and I were children, we had a magical machine called a Victrola. We were able to put "33" and "45" and "78" records––I never learned what those numbers stood for––on the turntable and place the handle with the needle on each record to listen to the music we loved.
But every now and then, the needle, if not perfectly placed, would scratch the record, and that would result in the music being unable to go forward. I remember it once got stuck on Oh What a Beautiful Morning from the musical “Oklahoma,” and all we heard on an endless loop was morning, morning, morning, morning…

The Israeli military said Tuesday that it recovered the bodies of six hostages taken in Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack that started the war in Gaza.
The recovery came as the United States, Egypt and Qatar are trying to mediate a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas that would see the release of scores of hostages held by the militant group.
The military said in a statement that its forces recovered the bodies in an overnight operation in southern Gaza. It identified the hostages as Yagev Buchshtab, Alexander Dancyg, Avraham Munder, Yoram Metzger, Nadav Popplewell and Haim Perry, without saying when or how they died.

August 6 marked the tenth anniversary of "the Black Day," a day indelible to Iraqi Christians as the start of the unrelenting atrocities to which they were subjected on August 6, 2014, ten years ago.
On that day, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) unleashed a jihadi massacre of unprecedented terror, brutally attacking ancient Christian communities across northern Iraq. Villages were overrun, homes and churches looted and destroyed, and countless lives shattered. Christians were murdered, raped and sold into slavery.

Living in one of the most far-left communities in the United States for the past many decades, I am intimately familiar with the mindset of the left — the liberals, leftists, progressives, or whatever they’re calling themselves today.
And as the entire world has witnessed over the past eight years, since the man they used to lionize and admire — and rewarded with a 15-year boffo success Tv show, The Apprentice — descended the escalator in Trump Tower in 2015 and announced his candidacy for the presidency of the United States, a true mass hysteria erupted to denounce,

Kamala Harris was in Pennsylvania on Sunday.
We reported earlier on some of her remarks, including a word salad about democracy. Number one, this is a nutty riff that she's done before. But number two, it's hilarious that she, of all people, is talking about "democracy" when the folks who helped to install her shoved the guy who got more than 14 million votes in the primary out of the race. She didn't get one vote in the primary for the top position. So really, they have some nerve talking about "democracy," given what they've done. She's actually the beneficiary of a coup and an "attack" on democracy.

Former President Donald Trump declared there has “never been a more dangerous time since the Holocaust” to be Jewish in the US on Saturday night.
The Republican presidential candidate made the remarks at a campaign rally event in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, where he claimed Vice President Kamala Harris decided against choosing Penn. Gov. Josh Shapiro as her running mate because he is Jewish.
“They turned him down because he’s Jewish,” Trump told a packed house at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
“They turned him down for other reasons, but the primary reason is because he’s Jewish,”

Donald Trump is one of only two Republican three-time presidential nominee in history.
That achievement was unthinkable in January 2020.
Back then, his personal polls had hit rock bottom after the Jan. 6 Capitol demonstrations.
Republicans had just lost two Senate seats to hard leftists in Georgia.
With those defeats, an increasingly unpopular Trump was blamed by many Republicans for losing the Senate, along with the House. He was faulted for allowing the Biden-Harris administration to implement the most hard-left agenda in the modern era.
Over the subsequent two years, a demonized Trump faced four separate criminal proceedings and a civil suit,

Iran has made no secret of the immense importance it places on the US protests – as a way to export its Islamic Revolution. They have been making it clear that the regime sees the protesters at US campuses as an Iranian fifth column in America to be used in the future....
According to the analysts, "60 percent of Pro-Palestine campus protestors were not authentic online users...." — XPOZ analyst, iranintel.com, August 2, 2024.
At UCLA, "Those who occupied encampments on the university's property disallowed Jews from passing through the quad unless they would disavow Israel and, by extension, their Jewish faith.

This conflict is a battle for survival not only for Israel but for the region, and ultimately for Europe and the United States.
Israel understands the stakes: Iran's belligerency requires an unequivocally committed response from the United States. In that part of the world, wishy-washy means a green light, open season. The consequences are assumed to vary from minimal to non-existent – and often even a profit!
Iran has no interest in becoming a sand dune. That is why it has proxies, so that they will do the attacking and take the incoming retaliation, ensuring that their devoted patron, Iran, will not have to. Iran's proxies are its human shields.

With the announcement of the 2025 transition team well in advance, you might note that President Donald Trump is taking a much more aggressive stance on the vetting of potential members of his administration. This is a critical and necessary proactive plan; it should be considered a very good sign.
President Trump has appointed Linda McMahon and Howard Lutnick as co-chairs of the transition team. However, President Trump has also appointed JD Vance, Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump as honorary chairs, likely with veto authority over any staffing recommendation.

Rebellious France is not only a far-left party, it is also a party tinged with anti-Semitism and counts supporters of Islamism and terrorist groups such as Hamas in its ranks.
The left-wing coalition has clearly been gaining ground. Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the leader of Rebellious France, to emphasize that he accepts anti-Semitism and supports Hamas and Islamism, gave a speech about his party's results while standing on stage next to an Islamist pro-Hamas activist, newly-elected Member of European Parliament Rima Hassan. Hassan wore a keffiyeh and displayed on her clothes a small Palestinian flag.

Remember when the Politico story first hit about the stupid leaking from inside the Trump campaign and I said, “they got nothing.”
Politico sat on the story for 19-days while they talked to the leaker and reviewed the information they were sharing. That’s how you know there was nothing in the leaked files from the “Trump insider.” Because if there was anything damaging, it would be 24/7 publishing with hundreds of stories about it.
However, with nothing of value coming from the DHS leak to Politico, the Associated Press now spins the story to proclaim the magnanimity of the media for not reporting on “hacked” documents. Too Funny!
