The Kamala Harris boom-and-bust cycle

If the polls are right, support for Vice President Kamala Harris, the new Democratic nominee for president, is booming. After months of President Joe Biden trailing former President Donald Trump in the RealClearPolitics average of national polls, Harris now narrowly leads Trump. The last six polls in the average show Harris ahead. Although this is exactly what Trump’s pollster predicted would happen in the immediate aftermath of the Biden-Harris switch, it is still disheartening for Republicans. So then why is she having to pay influencers? What about the polls that show Donald Trump ahead? I think there is a lot of bs floating around. . .

Not only that, if she is so confident about herself, please stop having performers entertaining at her rallies. The same applies to Democrats. If you are so confident about your political party, why all of the work arounds? Switching Joe Biden out with Kamala Harris without a primary is illegitimate and independent voters are all of sudden okay with it?

Polls: worthless. Elections: worthless. The only function of polls is to make the coming stolen election seem legitimate.

Are these the same polls that had Hillary way ahead of Trump in 2016? KJP summed things up nicely. We support the polls when we like what they are saying, and ignore them when we do not.

Last year in Texas, a father returned home from work to find his precious 11-year-old daughter dead beneath her own bed, stuffed into a plastic bag. The young girl, Maria Gonzalez, had been raped and strangled to death by a neighbor Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez, who entered America illegally in 2023 from Guatemala, but was allowed to stay in our homeland — because under the lax border policies of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, he only needed a “sponsor” in Louisiana. So, an American girl paid for the radical open borders madness with her life, joining a sad list of totally preventable tragedies, including the brutal murder of Laken Riley.

Police bodycam footage obtained by Fox News Digital on Thursday through a records request shows two officers attempting to intercept Thomas Matthew Crooks on a roof seconds before he allegedly tried to assassinate former President Trump at a campaign rally last month. The footage is taken from two officers from the Butler Township Police Department who made a desperate attempt to stop Crooks moments before he fired his DPMS AR-15 rifle, striking Trump in the ear, killing Corey Comperatore and injuring two others. .

A chilling letter this week from Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is a reminder that Americans cannot forget about the importance of the judiciary in upholding free speech and our other constitutional freedoms. On Tuesday – ironically, the day Michiganders went to the primary polls to participate in our constitutional right to vote – Nessel issued a “cease-and-desist letter” against a citizen whom the letter claimed was violating a state law against “misleading or false information” about “polling locations.” The recipient of the letter, Kerry Lynn Elieff, was threatened with “criminal prosecutions” if she did not follow the order. What raises the biggest red flags is that Nessel’s letter doesn’t ever state

As Sarah wrote earlier this evening, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s military service has been called into question after he was straight-up busted for embellishing his record. The phrase “stolen valor” has been tossed around, especially since it’s been revealed that Walz told Business Insider that he deployed to Iraq. In reality, he fled, abandoning his National Guard unit before it deployed to Iraq.

Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) is quickly finding his footing as a top messenger for former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign. Vance received high marks for his solo press conference in Detroit and remarks to reporters as he approached Vice President Kamala Harris’s plane at the airport in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. “Extremely solid extemporaneous political IQ here,” Republican strategist Josh Holmes, a former adviser to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), wrote on the social media website X. “Vance has barrel of the bat swings going here.”

Have you heard about Tim Walz’s folksiness? Surely you’ve noticed the “folksy demeanor” and “folksy manner” and “folksy appeal” and “folksy mannerisms” of this “folksy former soldier?” If you somehow missed it, the “folksy governor of Minnesota” exudes a “folksy … informal vibe” and “folksy relatability.” But don’t forget his “folksy rebukes” and “folksy plain-spoken and sharp-tongued approach,” either. Kamala Harris’ vice presidential pick is a dedicated cultural and economic leftist who happens to inhabit the body of an average middle-aged bowling team drinking buddy.

It’s the Trump policy agenda, stupid. That’s how to beat Vice President Kamala Harris — with policy arguments, not gratuitous personal attacks. Over 90% of voters have made up their minds. The 2024 presidential election will be determined in a handful of battleground states by a few hundred thousand votes, and Ms. Harris’ best chance of winning will be to consolidate Democratic women, successfully woo independent women and peel off a fraction of Republican women. Republican politicians, TV commentators and radio talk show hosts who play the Willie Brown card ridicule the Harris cackle or demean Ms. Harris as a diversity, equity and inclusion hire, which will only advance her strategy.

"If you’re in the stock market, if you care about your paycheck, you go with Trump," Cramer said. "That’s what you do." "You do?," fellow CNBC host David H. Faber asked. "Yeah, well, he wants to cut your taxes," Cramer responded, while Faber grumbled about Trump's SALT tax cap affecting blue states.

After a tumultuous and nearly life-ending July, Donald Trump narrowly retains his lead in the polls. Business leaders would be wise to prepare for a second Trump administration. As someone detailed to serve in the White House during my time in the Marine Corps, I know firsthand what national security policy means to President Trump. The 2017 National Security Strategy, Trump’s first-term policies, and his words in and out of office are the best indicators of what a second Trump administration agenda would entail. This amounts to a more expansive view of national security, one that stresses U.S. economic and technological primacy. Great power competition with China would dominate.

Kamala Harris’ slogan in her disastrous 2019 presidential bid was “For the People.” Her rapid, ruthless installation as the Democrats’ presidential nominee shows that slogan no longer captures what she or her party are about. Harris’ Democrats are America’s elite party, pure and simple. And like elites everywhere, they will fight without quarter to maintain the power and privilege they have spent a lifetime to acquire — as President Biden just learned to his detriment.

Sen. JD Vance fired back at a CNN reporter who asked him whether former President Trump's comments about Kamala Harris' race were concerning to him as a "father of three biracial children." Vance visited the U.S. southern border on Thursday where he attacked Harris' record as the border czar during a press conference in Cochise County, Arizona. At one point on the trip, CNN correspondent Steve Contorno asked the vice presidential contender about Trump's comment a day earlier, when he told a crowd at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention that Harris "became a Black person," after years of identifying as Indian.

The president of the Olympics’s governing body no longer believes in basic human biology when it comes to determining a person’s biological sex, a testament to the influence of progressive gender ideology across many major institutions. International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach suggested during a press conference Friday that identifying people’s biological sex based on their chromosomes is outdated. His comments came in response to a question about the recent controversy over two boxers competing in the women’s division after failing sex-identification tests administered by an outside sports body last year.

During a rally in Glendale, Arizona, Harris said she would back amnesty for the nation’s 11 to 22 million illegal aliens through so-called “comprehensive reform.” “We know our immigration system is broken and we know what it takes to fix it: comprehensive reform. That includes strong border security and an earned pathway to citizenship,” Harris said.

Walz has suggested on multiple occasions that he carried weapons into war — including in a video shared by the Harris campaign — despite having never served in a combat. “We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war,” Walz said in a 2018 video advocating gun control. That clip was shared Tuesday by the Harris campaign.

For weird characters like Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, now Kamala Harris's running mate, there is no such thing as human nature. Which is why he and his woke coevals are constantly in for a surprise when they make human beings into their guinea pigs for a Better World. And this is particularly obvious in matters involving children and their identities. It's very well known that boys, when given Barbie dolls to play with will turn them into guns for cowboy play. Writer Kira Davis saw what happened when Tim Walz's wokesterly idea of putting tampon and maxipad dispensers in the boys' room of her kids' high school in California.

Probably inadvertently and for all the wrong reasons, Donald Trump made an important point last week when he said of the Democrats’ most recent presidential nominee, Kamala Harris: “She was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago, when she happened to turn Black, and now she wants to be known as Black.” Cue media exploding in ritualistic rage at Trump for his “racist attack.”(snip) In fact, it actually is important that Harris is not a foundational black American (FBA), but rather, the child of immigrants. I know we don’t talk about it nearly enough, but remember slavery?

It's the Democrat media complex at work, though they’ve become more shameless since the Obama era. Democrats and their acolytes in the media are trying to recast Kalama and now her VP choice. In a discussion about Vice President Kamala Harris’ stunning surge in the polls last week, podcaster Joe Rogan stated the obvious: “She’s the least popular vice president of all time, and then in a moment in time, all of a sudden she’s our solution.” Rogan is right. The vice president who has been a national joke for four years, tapped by President Joe Biden because he’d promised his base he would choose a woman of color, has suddenly become a serious contender in the presidential race. And now she’s picked a radical Minnesota governor with a disastrous record to round out her ticket.
